Antonia was readying herself because a few minutes from now she will be heading towards the clinic for a blood transfusion session with Jessy. The kids had already been transformed from vampires into mere mortals, they were recovering in another room, now it's her turn.

Their life here inside the Facility was different from the cave, the blood was rationed and they were not hurting any humans directly. She admired King Antone's way of dealing with humans, not barbaric like King Jagger.

But in spite of Jagger's brutal way of dealing with the human she'd never seen him kill a mortal in a cold blood before.

She was about to get out of the room but the door suddenly opened revealing Jessy. "Hello Jess!" she greeted the young woman with a smile.

"Hi, Antonia...you will be the next to be transfused with my blood. In a while, we will be going to the clinic together. I just want to ask you something about Jagger..."

Jessy sat down on edge of the bed and so was Antonia.

"What about him, Jess? What is it that you wanted to know about him?" Antonia asked.

Jessy drummed her fingers on her thighs. "Have you seen Jagger used his powers? Where you able to get close to him at some point and able to witness him display or use his power?"

Antonia was shaking her head. "I'm sorry I can't answer you, Jess. I'm not the servant assigned to serve Jagger so I was not able to get close to him. I only saw him a few times because we can not normally enter his bedchamber and he doesn't usually mingle with his subjects on a daily basis. He talks and interacts with a few of his trusted men only."

Jessy looked closely at Antonia's face, the older woman seems to be telling the truth. The only way to know Jagger's extent of power is to fight with him one day.

"That's all Antonia. Let's go to the clinic now. After one week you and the kids can finally be relocated to the Habitat. The kids will surely be able to enjoy the amenities there such as the swimming pool, mini-park, library and the park on the top of the building. They can finally play outside during day time to their heart's content," Jessy explained.

Antonia's face brightened up feeling glad that their next home will be child-friendly, the children will no longer feel bored especially that there is a swimming pool in the relocation house. "Thank you so much for these wonderful opportunities, Jess, the children and I are very much grateful for your kindness," she said. She never regretted asking for Jessy's mercy way back in the cave, if she didn't ask for mercy she would have been dead by now along with the children. It's the best decision she had ever made when it comes to the children's safety and well being.

"Don't mention it, Antonia. You and the kids deserved all these because you guys are the only ones who believe in me," Jessy said, remembering those savage vampires who perished in the cave, she had given them the same chance but they chose death instead. "Let's go to the clinic now!"

The ladies exited the room and walked towards the direction of the clinic. When they entered the room Jessy and Antonia settled in the bed comfortably for the blood transfusion process to start.

Four hours later.

Jessy exited the clinic in a good mood.

Yes! She will have a date with Adam tonight and every time they were together it always makes her happy.

She went to her room in a hurry and changed into casual clothes.

After done dressing, she teleported into Adam's room in his condo unit. And there he was looking dashing as ever wearing a grey polo shirt and black pants.

"Oh my handsome boyfriend..." she hurried onto his side and catapulted in his arms.

"I see, you're finally here, why are you in a hurry...Jess?"

"Because I'm looking forward to our date in the city tonight!" her eyes were twinkling like stars.

"Okay, let's go, let's ride the taxi because I don't want to drive," he smiled. "Or you want to teleport? Which is which?"

"I like boarding the taxi cab for a change," she giggled.

"Ok, Let's go now my love," he said.

They linked their hands, then exited the bedroom.

"Where is Caden?" she asked when she can't find him in the living room.

"He was having fun in the swimming pool right now chatting with his friends," he replied. "Where do you want to go tonight?"

"Let's go to a nice bar to hear some live band playing awesome music," Jessy answered.

"Well I know one nearby about thirty minutes drive from here, have you eaten dinner already?" he asked.

She nodded her head. "Yeah, but that was fours hours ago, I'm craving for crispy and delicious spicy garlic fried chicken," she said while imagining sinking her teeth into the chicken thighs.

"Ah, I see, let's go to a chicken restaurant first and then proceed to the bar after eating fried chicken," he said.

"Okay," Jessy murmured excitedly.

They boarded the elevator going to the ground floor and then from the entrance of the condominium building they rode a taxi cab heading to the heart of the city.

When they arrived at the downtown, the stores were already closed except for some 24/7 restaurant and clubs. They entered a chicken house that specializes in all types of chicken, from country-fried, flour-breaded, oil-fried and other types of chicken recipes.

They specifically ordered Southern Fried Chicken and Korean Fried Chicken, rice, side dish, and soda.

Fifteen minutes later, their order finally arrived and they began feasting on their mouthwatering meal. Jessy sunk her teeth into the crispylicious Southern Chicken while Adam enjoyed his Korean Fried Chicken.

One hour later, nothing was left on their platter only chicken bones.

They beamed at each other in amusement.

A moment later, they left the chicken restaurant with a full stomach. They strolled on the sidewalk without a definite direction in mind. Then they finally decided to enter a Resto-Bar with a live band that was currently playing a piece of slow rock music.

The couple stayed inside the bar for more than one hour enjoying the music and sipping ladies drink and vodka.
