Zain lifted an eyebrow and a brilliant idea suddenly appeared in his mind. "I see...so how about you my little brother what can you do so that you can make up with your sin to me? What are you willing to sacrifice so that you can make things normal again between us? I won't simply grant you forgiveness without punishing you, what can you give to me in return? Come on, don't be greedy and selfish!" he bellowed.

Adam shrugged his shoulder. "I simply have no idea how to make it up to you brother, you won't even accept my apology, you still prefer to hate me. If you will tell me to give up Jessy, that is one thing I can never do in this lifetime," his voice was hard as steel. He was trying to make things okay again between them but it looks like his brother is beating around the bush...so...there is nothing he can do anymore to remedy their situation.

Zain fell silent for a moment. The only way to make his offer appealing to his brother is to add Jessy as the icing on the cake. "Wait...I can offer you something my dearest brother. Transfer to me all your power and stay in this room for three years, I want you to feel exactly how I feel when I'm being imprisoned here, powerless and swimming in utter desolation. That's the only way you can pay me back from your betrayal to me. After three years, I will set you free and you can be with Jessy. But I will never give you back your power because it's rightfully intended to be mine in the first place," he said.

Adam stared at his brother, mouth agape. After a while, he was able to get over the shock of his brother's proposal. "I...I will think about it," he muttered, all he ever wanted right now is to leave the room. But there's one thing he needs to ask his brother because it concerns his girlfriend. "How about Jessy? Are you going to force yourself on her?"

Zain raised an eyebrow. "Oh...how about her? Are you afraid that while you were imprisoned here she will start developing feelings towards me? Aren't you secured and confident of her gigantic love for you? You have nothing to worry about her, if she loves you she can wait for you after three years without falling in love with me. But you can't stop me if I will start wooing her, in the first place she is my wife I am entitled to do anything with her. But don't worry much, if Jessy really loves you she will remain devoted to you and she will wait patiently for your release after three years," he smirked.

Adam sighed and fell silent for a long time, there are quite a few negative emotions appeared on his face. He's getting tired of all these dramas, he wants to put an end to everything, but his brother isn't cooperating properly. His brother Zain wants revenge—his way. He knew without a doubt that all his proposals were meant to hurt him and Jessy, Zain will continue to make things difficult for them as long he won't get the upper hand.

Zayn stared at his younger brother's face displaying agony and confusion, finally, he tasted a small victory. "You can go now, I want to continue my sleep. Don't come back here unless you are willing to accept my proposal!" he shooed him away. He lies down in the bed and closed his eyes ready to resume his sleep again.

Adam left the room disappointed.

He released a deep sigh and teleported himself back to Jessy's room.

Inside the room.

His troubled mind prevented him from falling asleep again. He had no qualms transferring his power to his brother as long he can repair the damage he had done to their sibling relationship but he was worried that Zain will force himself on Jessy, but on the other hand, Jessy got powers on her own and she can protect herself against his brother's unwanted intrusion. The next question is— would he be willing to stay in that prison-like room in the next three years?

That's a long time...

If Jessy will know about it she will surely oppose the proposal.

A moment later.

Jessy suddenly woke up and saw her boyfriend lying wide awake beside her. "Hey...were you not able to sleep?" she looked at the wall clock, the time is already 4:00 in the morning.

Adam looked at her. "I did fall asleep, but I woke up at 2:30 and visit my brother in his prison room," he said casually.

Jessy stared at Adam. "So—what did you talk about?"

"I apologize to my brother for betraying him and for falling in love with you, but I told him that I will never give you up," he said. "Jess, why you didn't tell me about his proposals to you?" Adam wondered.

Jessy's mouth twitched in disgust. "His proposal is ridiculous! I don't like entering into a relationship with two men and worst two brothers, that's kind of gross to me! And his second option required that I will bore him a child, no way!" she said vehemently.

Adam gathered her in his arms. "Shhh...don't be angry now. You did the right thing about not accepting my brother's proposal. I'm happy and satisfied that you never give in to his ridiculous demands."

Jessy looked at Adam's face closely. "D-did he offers you something so that he can forgive you? I'm sure he will never stop thinking of ways and means to have his revenge on us," she speculated.

Adam nodded his head in affirmation. "Yes, he did offer me something, but you shouldn't know about it," he said sadly. He will think a thousand times before deciding if he will accept his brother's proposal or not, maybe he can still come up with the best solution to their problems in the days to come.

Right now, he doesn't want to say something that will cause great distress to his girlfriend.

Jessy looked at his face worriedly, she was feeling hurt that Adam is starting to hide things from her. She can not rest in peace unless she will know what the brothers were talking about and agreeing upon. "Adam, please tell me, what he demanded from you? Please!" she pleaded teary-eyed.

Adam released a deep sigh. He had no plan to tell Jessy what he and his brother have discussed but it seemed she will not let him off the hook easily, she will keep nagging him about it and maybe she should know about it sooner than later. It's useless to keep it as a secret especially that at one point in time earlier he was considering to accept his brother's offer just to end their conflict once and for all.

He cleared his throat.

"In exchange for his forgiveness, he wants me to transfer all my power to him, then he wants me to stay in that prison-like room for three years," he revealed.
