General Smith was talking to the spy inside the Facility.

"Sparrow, what's the update in there?" he asked.

"The 600 vampires that were successfully transformed into mortals were now enjoying their stay in the habitat, Sir."

"How do they look like?"

"They look like mortals, Sir, there is no big difference, their facial features were the same to us, humans."

"Did you see any of them having fangs on their teeth?"

"Negative, Sir. They smile a lot and I can't see no fangs inside their mouth."

"How about the sun? They weren't burned under the heat of the sun?"

"No Sir. They love swimming in the pool area, many of them already explored the resorts outdoor amenities and at this time of the year the sun is blazing hot, surprisingly they love the outdoor, Sir!"

"Really---?"

"They are no longer the vampires we used to fear a lot, Sir, they are normal looking human beings."

"How about the food?"

"They eat everything in the canteen, Sir. They love human foods!"

"So, the prophecy has finally come true?"

"Yes Sir, that's more like it."

"That's good. Let them enjoy their human life for the time being. Once the crossbred is finally done transforming all the vampires, then that is the time to wipe them off from the face of the earth once and for all! Once they were finally relocated to The Habitat they will be separated from their 5k human shields, that is the perfect time to attack and bomb the entire condo resort, this way no human workers will be drag into the chaos. Stupid vampires! Do they think they can get away from me undetected? Are they out of their minds thinking I will no longer hunt them because they already transformed into humans? Well...they are in for a big surprise!" the General's voice had a hard-edged steel sound to it almost like diabolic.

"Just continue spying on them, be careful, don't let them know of your identity!"

"Copy Sir."

"Have you been into the deep of the Facility?"

"No Sir. It's difficult to penetrate the middle and core of the Facility, the vampires can detect a human smell, it would be easy for them to detect me, I can only do my spying in the outer part of the Facility where humans can roam freely. If I will go down there I will never be able to get out alive. But if there's an opportunity to investigate the underground level of the Facility I will try to do it but I can't promise you anything."

"Ah, forget about spying the underground levels of the Facility. It's not worth risking your life, let's just wait until the rest of the surviving vampires will finally gather in the Habitat and enjoy their freedom. I will roast them alive with bombs dropping on their heads from heavens above. That will be the day that I can finally avenge my brother and his family's death. Only the death of the remaining vampires on earth can bring satisfaction to my soul!"

"I understand, Sir."

"If you can show me the face of the crossbred that would be much better."

"I will try my best Sir. The crossbred does exist but no one can tell me who she is and what does she look like. The human workers have no idea who she is. The vampires are very secretive being, they don't talk about the crossbred at all as if she doesn't exist in their midst."

"Okay, no need to rush, any information about her will be greatly appreciated by me."

"I will keep an eye on her, Sir!"

"If you have new information call me right away."

"Got it, Sir!'

"That's all for now. Cover your tracks and keep yourself alive as long as you can!"

"Copy Sir!"

General Smith ended the call.

He put his phone on the bedside table.

Tomorrow, after he will arrive in his office, he will send a cease order to his subordinates to stop all operations against the Facility. From now on that place where the vampires were hiding will be peaceful, no more military intervention, he will gift the vampires a period of peace for the time being before he will slaughter them in one go! It will be the judgment day! He was sure his brother and his family will be happy in heaven after he successfully eliminated the remaining vampire survivor in his country.

He can not rest in peace until the days of reckoning will finally fall on the vampires head.

It will be the sweetest revenge, all the human beings that were slain by the vampires in the past will rejoice on that day because he will avenge them all.

Killing all the vampires in his country will be his crowning glory, his greatest achievement in his whole military career.

It's about time the parasites on earth will be pushed to extinction and it will be his greatest pleasure in life.

He opened the drawer of the bedside table and took out a piece of paper and put it in his palm. It's the suicide letter written by his beloved brother.

Reading the letter always makes him teary-eyed.

Dearest brother,

If you happened to read this message of mine, I'm already dead. After seeing my whole family brutally killed by the savage vampires tore my heart into pieces. I tried to fight my depression but everywhere I look I see dead bodies of my entire family. I felt so useless! I was not able to save my family, I came too late! The guilt of being alive while my beloved wife and my precious children were dead was eating my conscience torturing me with extreme guilt. I'm so sorry I have no courage facing the world alone, living on my own, the only courage left in me is to end my life and follow my deceased family into the afterlife.

I cannot continue living without my family.

I can't continue pretending that they are still alive, it's madness! I'm going crazy thinking about my family day and night. I kept hearing my wife and my children's laughter everywhere in the house. They won't let me rest until I will follow them into the afterlife.

I'm so sorry I'm being a coward and a disgrace to our family.

Living is very hard while dying is so easy. I chose to end my life because I have no reason to live anymore. The people I cared about already departed from this world, therefore, it's only best that I will follow them.

I only have one last request, brother, please kill at least 100 savage vampires for me. If you can do that I will be happy and forever thankful to you while I'm watching you in heaven.

Tears fell from General Smith's eyes. He folded the paper and put it back into the drawer of the bedside table.

Through the years, his men not only killed hundreds but together they killed thousands of vampires with the help of the anti-vampire vaccine.

But the pain of losing his beloved brother can not be erased with the deaths of thousands of vampires.

Sooner or later, the remaining vampires will go extinct, he will make sure of that!

The General's sinister plan has already started.
