After finishing blood transfusion, a total of 6 vampires for the whole day, Jessy feels satisfied...she's ready to retire for the evening. While she was lying in bed, her mind was busy thinking of the second girl that was still held captive by the kidnappers.

Would she join Captain Mercado and his men to save the girl or just let humans take care of their problems? But what if something will go wrong with the rescue operation and it will turn out to become a total failure and the girl won't be saved?

So what---?

Why would she start bothering herself with human affairs knowing that she had a bigger problem to face on her own?

Duh! Whatever!

She would like to believe that Captain Mercado is capable enough to save the girl. But what if he failed? What will happen to the girl? After knowing about the Mission~XXX and the poor girls' situation she felt this sudden urge to see the second girl being freed from her kidnappers. Maybe she will tag along with the rescuers, she will just observe everything from afar and let the humans do their thing, then... if the girl needs her help or the rescue operation will suddenly go wrong she can lend a hand to help the military officers.

After realizing that her thoughts were gearing up to help the captain and his men, Jessy grimaced.

She was planning to help Captain Mercado's team just in case the rescue plan will not go as planned, although the captain is her enemy, still, her human heart always sides with the good ones and not on the evil ones. In this specific rescue operation, Captain Mercado and his team were the good guys and the kidnappers were the bad guys, so as a human being her sympathy always goes with the good guys that implement justice, just that she's going to help the person she considered her enemy.

So it's confirmed now, on the second attempt of the rescue operation, she will accompany Captain Mercado and his team and be their guardian angel in the dark, she will do it for the sake of the kidnaped girl.

After reaching the final decision her troubled mind finally gets settled.

Then out of the blue she remembered that incident in the park, when that psycho serial killer slits her throat, that was so sudden...he caught her off guard, his knife was able to draw a blood from her neck, good thing her body has unbelievable healing capabilities that heal itself fast or else she already died in that park along with the captain.

No! She can't allow such a mistake to happen to her again, she doesn't like to waste even a tiny drop of her precious blood!

She quickly sat down on the bed and closed her eyes, she starts waving her hand slowly all over her body from head to toe and coating her body with protective layer of barrier that would automatically expel any types of weapons or foreign objects that would come in close contact approximately 20 inches from her skin, the protective barrier will make any weapons or objects bounced back from her body without touching her skin.

Ten minutes later...she's done coating the protective barrier all over her body.

She's very much satisfied with the barrier that she created for herself. This time, no objects or weapons can harm her.

A satisfied and confident smile appeared on her lips.

She wrapped the blanket around her body and prepared to sleep.

She was about to close her eyes when Adam suddenly materializes in her room.

"Hi Jess!" he smiled brightly at the woman lying on the bed.

"Hello Mr. Handsome!" she responded in glee. Jessy grinned from ear to ear, she's been wanting to visit him this week, she wasn't expecting to see him tonight and visit her in the Facility, it was such a nice surprise! She sprung from the bed and catapulted into his waiting arms. "I miss you so much!" she squealed in his arms.

"I miss you too! I decided to pop up here to see how my baby girl is doing?" he nuzzled her ears lovingly.

"I'm fine," she answered while looking deeply into his eyes.

"That's good! How about the blood transfusion thingy?" he asked.

"So far so good!" she replied.

"And how about my brother?" he asked.

Jessy did not answer, she lowered her eyes and fixed her gaze on the floor avoiding his gaze.

"Is h-he okay?" he asked again.

Jessy shook her head. "Not really..."

A worried look appeared on Adam's face. "Come with me Jess, I want to see my father and mother...my brother and sister as well," he said excitedly.

Jessy becomes silent. Adam is here to visit his family, which he seldom does, tagging her along with him to meet his family is not right, he should see his family alone without her so that they can have family bonding without interruption.

"Adam, why don't you go alone and see your family? I will just stay here in my room and have a rest because I have done blood transfusion with 6 vampires today, I just want to rest and let my body recuperate, hope you understand," she said. She was about to tell him the truth regarding his brother's worsening condition but she hesitated 'coz she is not the right person to tell him everything, she will leave it to the Queen to explain everything to her second son.

Adam inspected her face. "Are you okay, Jess?" he asked worriedly.

Jessy released a wide smile and planted a sweet kiss on his lips. "I'm fine, please don't worry about me, I will just rest here, come back here before you go back to your condo unit, I want to spend some time with you, okay?"

Adam smiled. "Yes, of course, I will come back here to your room because I will be sleeping here tonight beside you in your bed. I will go to my parents first and have a chat with them, then I will talk to my siblings, just rest well...I will be back," he said.

Jessy nodded her head and mumbled... "Okay."

"See you later, Jess!" he planted a quick kiss on her forehead and then he disappeared from her sight.

A sweet smile appeared on Jessy's lips. Suddenly her world turns rosy the moment Adam appeared in her room. She will just take a nap while waiting for Adam to come back after talking to his family, she loves to cuddle with him and whispers sweet nothing in his ears.

"I love you, Adam," she murmured to herself and closed her eyes. She's excited to spend the night with him.
