Jessy teleported herself into the center of the nearest city from the mansion.

Her main goal for tonight was to find Ronnie and bring him back to the mansion.

She has been walking for almost two hours in the street yet she can't find him. She only has remaining three hours to spare on finding him. She went inside the cafe and buy herself a fizzy drink to quench her thirst. She was contemplating what to do next. Sadly she can't detect his scent. When Adam was still alive he can easily detect the scent of humans without any problem, but she can't.

She can't even rise in the air because she didn't bring her black cloak, black garments that would camouflage her against human eyes. She's just wearing a plain orange colored blouse, black pants, and a brown jacket.

When the last drop of her drinks was already consumed, she still doesn't have any concrete plans on how to proceed in finding Ronnie. She can't possibly go on walking around and around without a definite direction where to go.

She ordered another fizzy drink and added one slice of cinnamon apple cake to her order. While she's munching on the cake she was also thinking of Ronnie's whereabouts. She glanced at her wristwatch it shows 12:00 midnight.

Since Ronnie is a mute guy and doesn't have much money with him...

He couldn't possibly stay long in the posh trendy district of the city.

Where could he be?

Ah, she got it now!

She will try to find him in the slum area of the city.

She finished eating the cinnamon apple cake in a hurry. She brought with her the half-filled fizzy drink outside.

Jessy rode a taxi cab and she told the cab driver to drop her into the nearest slum area.

When she arrived at the slum area, she was not prepared for what she was about to see...

Children, women, men and elderly were sleeping on the streets, outside the establishments and stores that were scattered around the area. It's so heartbreaking to see them lining up in the cold pavements wearing their tattered and dirty clothes on. She shivered upon seeing their pitiful condition. She had to lean over her neck to scan their faces carefully hoping to see Ronnie. Some of them were already sleeping soundly.

Few meters from where she stood, two young men were already sleeping soundly in their makeshift bed made of cardboard boxes in front of the jewelry store.

That's the place where Jessy was heading.

She will have to check the last block ahead before she gives up on finding Ronnie.

She continues walking towards the jewelry store, she can see two young men sleeping in there. One of them might be Ronnie.

She pressed her jacket tighter to her body, the wind was getting chillier around her.

She halted her steps in front of the jewelry store, the guard on duty was already dozing off on his chair.

OMG! Her heart suddenly jumped inside her rib cage, she found him at last!

She hurried to his side, he was sleeping soundly, his body was facing her. Beside him was another young man also in a deep sleep.

She beamed of happiness, she can't understand why she felt happy in finding him at last.

"Silly guy! Why you have to run away?" she murmured.

During those moments...Adam was in the state of dreaming about Jessy. He was holding her hand and running some hot kisses on it.

Jessy was amused when Ronnie reached for hand and began kissing it, his eyes still closed.

She frowned. Was he awake, sleeping or dreaming?

She let him kiss her hand for a few seconds...then she slowly pries her hand away from his grasp.

But to her surprise, he was holding on to her hand firmly and won't let go.

She smiled in amusement.

Using her left hand, she tried again to free her right hand from his grasp...

While in Adam's dreams, he kept holding unto Jess' hands, but he was losing her hand every second as if it's being taken away from him, he holds on to it firmly not wanting to let go.

Jessy used her left hand to shake Ronnie's shoulder to wake him up.

When Adam reluctantly opened his eyes, he almost had a heart attack! His heart was beating fast! The face he saw when he opened his eyes was that of Jessy! His dream came true!

WTF?!

"Ronnie..." said Jessy softly.

He immediately sat on the pavement and about to say her name, when he suddenly remembered that in her eyes he was Ronnie the mute guy.

He closed his eyes again, trying to calm his nerves. He was not expecting this, he has to handle this situation carefully with a clear mind.

He glanced at Caden's sleeping form beside him. Good thing he was still in a deep sleep.

"Ronnie, come back with me in the mansion," she said in a coaxing manner.

Adam shook his head, conveying to her with his action that he won't come with her.

Jessy continues convincing him. She really needs to persuade him harder to come with her.

Adam stared at Jess' beautiful face. He saw the determination in her eyes. What he really wanted to do right now is to hug her tight and kiss her red plump lips. He missed the sugary taste of her lips. He missed running his hands all over her naked body. He missed the way she moaned his name every time they make love.
