The next morning...

Nathan, Matthew, and Ivy were eating breakfast in the dining room.

They were planning to go home later at 4:00 PM in the afternoon.

They had also decided to go for a swim in the lake after lunch.

Jessy and Adam~with his borrowed face~ finally graced the dining table with their presence, they sat on the vacant chairs quietly.

Six pairs of eyes looked at them closely. Jessy suddenly blushed at their malicious stare.

"Good morning guys!" she greeted them.

"It's really a good morning." Nathan coughed.

Ivy giggled while glancing at the blushing faces of Adam and Jessy.

Adam kept to himself, he put some foods in Jess' plate. He also scoped little amount of foods for his plate and pretended to munch on them.

Nathan and Matthew occasionally engaged Adam in a lively conversation while they were eating.

Their conversation continued in the boy's room where they talk about the current hottest video games releases and what video games they love playing on their mobile, PC or Laptop. Adam found them hilarious and funny to talk with. He enjoyed a good laugh with their company. He realized that if he's a human being, they were the types of cool friends he would like to associate himself with.

After lunch...

The group did not waste time, they change into their swimming attire, and they run gleefully towards the lake and make a good splash in the cool water. They were having a fantastic time swimming in the lake under the blazing sweltering sun.

Two hours later, Nana called them to get ready to go home. They reluctantly got out of the water.

A few minutes later...All their belongings were already loaded in the trunk of Matthew's car. The group bid their farewells to Nana Aida, Jessy, and Adam.

Matthew's car already disappeared outside the tall gate of the mansion, yet the lovebirds were remain rooted to the spot where they were standing earlier.

"You have nice friends, Jess," Adam commented.

Jessy smiled, feeling proud of her friends. "Yes, they are."

She looked at Adam, not liking his borrowed face. "You can transform now..."

"Later...let's go upstairs first." He holds her hands and opened the door wide for them to enter.

"What's great with being 18 years old?" Jessy asked Adam out of the blue.

"You're adult now," he winked at her.

"So-?" her eyebrows rose.

"We can go all the way with out worrying that you're still a minor," he chuckled while combing her hair with the comb he was holding.

She glanced at him with a small smile curled up in her lips. "Is that what you have been thinking all along? Taking my virginity? Is that the only thing that is important to you?"

"No. Don't get me wrong, Jess. I will always love you even if we don't do the did. I can understand very well that you're just protecting yourself. Having your love with me is more than enough for me," he said with utmost honesty in his voice.

Jessy falls into a deep silence. Is it worth giving up yourself, your body to your boyfriend who is going to die in two years time? She asked herself. Of course, she loves Adam so much, he's worth it!

"What are you thinking?" It's now his time to ask her. "What's going on with that pretty head of yours?"

"Y-you can wait, right?" she asked him in an apprehensive tone.

"No problem, Jess. Besides am not in a hurry." He smiled at her, he hugged her from behind. "Please don't worry much about it, okay?"

She suddenly turns around and hugs him tight. Tears were already forming in her eyes. Adam saw it.

"Hey, why are you crying?"

"Am scared. We only have two years left together. Time flies too fast. I felt like...time is rushing months after months to separate us from each other." She's sobbing into his t-shirt.

Adam rubbed her back. "Shhh...shhh...please stop crying. We still have two years left-Jess. Let's make the best of what is left of our time together."

"Okay," she tried to stifle her whimper.

He holds her for awhile until he no longer feels her body trembling because of crying.

"Jess, I just want you to promise me one thing, after I die, please bury me beside your rose garden. In that way, I can be closer to you. I want to be buried here in this place because it is the place where our love truly blossomed," he said in a sorrowful voice.

Jessy was supposed to be done with her crying but upon hearing his heartfelt request, she starts whimpering again.

Damn! Adam lashed at himself. Why it even came out from his mouth? Now his ladylove is crying again.

He tried all means to make her stop crying. By the time she finally stops sobbing, Adam felt like he already died a thousand deaths in her arms.

To cheer her up. He brought her in the town Bazaar that night, with Nana Aida's permission of course.

The colorful display somehow cheered Jessy because she kept smiling while admiring them.

There were different booths for garments, dresses, fabrics, fashion and cellphone accessories, cooked food, desserts, pastries, vegetables, herbs and spices, cold beverages and refreshments, and a lot more.

On the adjacent lot, there's a Carnival Rides such as Ferris Wheel, Octopus, Viking Ship, Carousel, Tea cup, and other awesome rides.

"Wow, let's go for a ride, Adam!" she said excitedly.

"Aw, am so sorry, Jess. Were not able to bring any money. We forgot to bring a fucking money!" he blurted sheepishly.

"Oh, that...hmmm...better luck next time," she reached for his face and adjust carefully his dust mask that was about to slip from his ears. "Adam, don't feel bad about it. Next time, we will just have to bring money with us," she threw him a smile.

He smiled back at her and kissed her forehead.

They proceed to the booth where a lot of stuffed toys were being displayed on top of one another.

Jessy was hugging a big brown teddy bear, she finds it really cute. "He is so cuddly like you-Adam!" she giggled. Too bad, she doesn't have money to buy it, she thought to himself.

She was in that state admiring the teddy bear...

When a loud blood-curdling scream tore around the Bazaar and the Carnival...

All people turned around to locate the origin of the scream...It came from at the top of the Ferris Wheel. A woman was grasping desperately to her daughter's hands who is crying and dangling from the Ferris Wheel which already put to halt by the operator.

Adam's eyes scanned the area where the woman was located...

He can see clearly that on her other hand she was holding another child. She was such in a very difficult situation. She seemed to ride the Ferris Wheel along with her young son and daughter, the daughter must have fallen out from the seat. If it's only one child, she might be able to concentrate hard on saving her daughter, but the loud wailing of his son must also add pressure on her. She was panicking...

He saw a ladder being put up frantically by several people on the ground below the Ferris Wheel, many people rushed wanting to help. But it might be too late...

It's an excruciating scene to watch...

Adam saw the mother's face glistened with perspiration...her hands were straining hard to hold the weight of her daughter. He knew from the look of her face that she can no longer hold on...she will eventually drop her daughter anytime, soon.

Adam realized that he's the only one who can help them...no time left to spare...he waved his hand quickly, all the lights in the Bazaar and the Carnival died instantly, he levitated and zoomed directly towards the child, that is also the moment the child's hands slipped from her mother's grip...the tormented mother screamed her loudest wail as if her heart and soul were being forcibly taken out from her body.

"My daughterrrrrrrrrrrrr!"

The darkness only intensifies the horrific tone of her voice...

The people below also felt panic and screamed, surrounded by total darkness...they can't see anything...they already presumed what happened to the child based on the scream of the mother...their faces were covered with tears and horror due to the spine-chilling, gut-wrenching anticipation...

Then gradually, the light went back on...the people looked at each other, with a terrified expression on their faces...they all looked at the ground of the Ferries Wheel expecting a body of the child sprawled dead in there...

But to their surprise, they didn't see the body of the child whom they were all expecting...nothing... and when they looked up above, the mother was already settled in the seat and was hysterically crying holding her two children tightly in her arms.

People around Jessy were already rapidly talking and asking questions to each other.

'W-what just happened?'

'Why the light suddenly went dead...?'

'Thank God, she was able to save her daughter!'

Jessy only smiled at them. She saw Adam slowly walking towards her.

"Where have you been?"

Adam smiled. "Just looking around..."

He winked at her.

"You want to check some of the booths down there-?"

"Yes," she clung to his arms feeling immensely proud of her boyfriend. She dubbed him...'The Silent Hero.'
