Tamer Of Cosmic Beasts Chapter 105

The girl was quiet as she silently watched everyone in front of her with unwavering determination on her face. Her slender hands were holding a wand, a weapon used to enhance her ability to control beasts.
She suddenly felt piercing eyes on her before she jerked a bit and looked back. A tall and handsome hunk was standing at the other side of the octagon shield, she quickly remembered the figure, the only tamer of Abran City. She didn't pay any more attention and turned back to focus solely on her opponents.
Akash, on the other hand, was ready to barge in to help Mehak if things went south. There was a high chance of dead, after all. Some tamers had already died in the first two fights in the other octagons.
Meanwhile, her opponents were taking out their weapons from their spatial rings and out of the 5, three had swords while the other 2 had spears. Their leader was wielding a long spear, an upper-common grade weapon which was quite fancy for a tamer of a 3rd tier city. Akash felt something wrong in the girl of the onliest race.
She raised her hand and only three portals opened, releasing a trio of beasts. One was a Sharp-Teeth Rabbit, a 4th Star bloodline nobility rank beast. While it may look harmless at first glance, it could attack ferociously and easily inflict lethal wounds on its enemies. Her second beast was a 4th Star bloodline nobility rank, Python Tiger. It possessed the Poison Law, with a tail similar to a snake's. The 3rd and last one she brought out was a 3rd Star bloodline nobility rank beast called Featherless Turkey, a useless beast mainly used for a tasty dinner.
"What? A Summoning Law expert!"
"Oh my gosh, she looks so pretty!"
"Oh, the Summoning Law, that's quite the rare one."
"She will definitely win."
The atmosphere changed in seconds. Once they get to know that she had a Mythical-Grade law,
they rallied to support her. Akash was wondering how they'd react if they found out she also had the Blood Law.
Akash looked at the beasts with abhorrence, especially that turkey. Not even children would bat an eye at such beasts, yet they still gave her these disappointments, to a rarely found genius with the blood of two legendary clans running through her veins at that.
"What a waste of talent."

Akash lamented as Mehak looked at him again, the latter squinted her eyes while pondering.
"Every girl would fall for his looks, such a shame he is just another one of those perverted bastards, looking at my fanny with lusty eyes."
She turned her head back after glancing at him again momentarily, Akash felt something was wrong.
"Only one beast per realm? Is she hiding her true power or is that really her limit?"
Akash questioned her ability before checking her profile again, making sure he had seen right earlier. She did indeed have an upper-legendary grade aptitude with both the Summoning Law and the Blood Law awakened.
*beep*
[She is unaware of her limitless potential, merely akin to a larva right now. If the king took her under his wing, she would quickly evolve into a beautiful butterfly.]
The System explained to Akash Tagar.
"I don't need beautiful butterflies. I need powerful allies."
Akash replied.
[Perhaps the king is unaware but those are the same thing. In this world of cultivation and beasts, true beauty means absolute power.]
It explained.
"I suppose."
Akash replied just to shut the System down.
Bobli Bechmon, the leader of the Fojipor City team, tightened his grip on his spear and dashed towards the leader of the Rosehill City team leader, yelling at the others.
"The four of you go and kill the one with the Summoning Law! Don't let her live, I will annihilate their leader."
Akash was worried, immediately thinking about how to save her.
"Master, I can cut through that shield."
Baba Azdaha informed him.
"No, Baba, I cannot reveal you here."
Akash declined as Bobli reached the opposition's leader, named Izla Hashvem. Izla had already called his beast out when Bobli charged at him. With the cultivation realm of the 4th Star, he brought out 2 beasts. Bobli opened his Star Dwelling as well and three beasts came out, they were all 8th Star bloodline nobility rank beasts, the highest bloodline Akash had seen so far in this tournament.
The trio of beasts started to maul Izla's duo and just as the remaining four people were about to reach Mehak Pitafi, her three beasts moved forward to engage her enemies before dying one by one. Yet she neither budged nor surrendered. Instead, as she was witnessing her beast's deaths, she closed her eyes, knowing that her death was imminent as well. However, there was no sign of fear or regret on her face, just a sole tear fell from her eye as she mumbled.

"Thank you, O highest being for listening to my request. Please take care of Nuzu."
The swords and spears of the Fojipora team were just a few meters away from her before…
~BOOOM~
The entire stadium quaked, dust enveloping the octagon. The scene dazzled everyone including the judges, no one knew what had just occurred nor could they feel anything strange just yet.
"Is this coming from the same source as the previous killing intent?"
A judge asked
"I am not sure but there is a high possibility."
Another judge replied.
"It's a beast."
The black-suited old man added before yelling out an order.
"Shut down the shields!"
As the shields vanished, the dust began to slowly crawl out of the octagons. The four people there were frozen as fear sat on their hearts. And soon, the dust cleared completely, revealing a 4.5-meter-tall black and white body with a large golden pillar in front of him. The pillar was planted into the ground and made its way towards the arena as everything above ground was protected by the shields earlier.
"That's enough, they have already accepted their defeat and surrendered!"
The beast spoke, it was none other than the God Demon Panda. His height had risen from 3.3 meters to 4.5 and he was now at the 2nd Moon of the 6th Star realm. He had broken through a whole realm over the course of the last 22 years on Carnage Prison and had even learnt a few things on top of that, such as becoming fluent in speech.
The old man gasped for he had never seen such a young beast talking so fluently. Not only him, but every person present also had their mouths agape and their eyes almost popping out.
"Do you have a master?"
The old man asked.
"No, I don't have any master, only a father."
Ponytail replied.
"A father?"
The old man was curious about his father's existence, conceiving every possible situation before asking.
"Where is he?"
"Right there."
Ponytail pointed at Akash as another man asked the elder.
"Sir, do you have any knowledge about this species?"
"No, it's my 1st time seeing such a type of panda… Besides, don't disturb me now!"
The old man replied and looked at Akash.
"How did you get such a beast, young man?"
"Haha, mere chance. He was but an infant when I found him."
Akash vaguely answered.
"Oh, will you sell it to me?"
The old man asked, wearing a nice and harmless smile.
"Sorry, I won't sell him. He is not just a beast but family to me."
Akash replied with an expressionless face.
"Haha, I'll make sure your city wins this tournament. How about together with it, I also give you a blank check as well?"
The greedy old man threw in another offer.
"Apologies, but my answer won't change."
Akash quickly declined once again. The facial expression of the old man changed, now glaring at Akash Tagar.
"Then, I will get this beast, whether you want to sell it or not. You don't know it's worth, so just use your head instead of that pretty face."
Akash took a deep breath and…
"THIS GUY IS THREATENING A PARTICIPANT OF THE TOURNAMENT, HE WANTS TO ROB ME OF MY BEAST!"
The king used his wits as advised and yelled loudly, his voice echoing throughout the stadium. All the cameras were immediately directed at that octagon, broadcasting live across the province. The old man quickly acted shocked before lowering his head.
"YES, HE IS RIGHT! I WANTED TO SNATCH HIS BEAST AND I ALSO OFFERED HIM TO BED ME TONIGHT!"
The old man replied in the same manner and after a brief moment of awkward silence, the entire stadium burst out into laughter.
"Abran City is shameless, he probably doesn't even know who that is!"
"How could that young man lie about Mr. Mit Amen!"
"A gentleman like Mr. Mit snatching a fat panda, haha!"
The name of this elder in the black suit was Mit Amen, he swiftly changed Akash's accusation into his own defamation. Everyone now thought Akash was trying to defame him, including the TV channels. They quickly closed the broadcast and deleted that part from their storage.
Mit signaled the referee, who was at the Star General realm, before the latter moved towards Akash.
"1st Way of the Death Spear, The Way of the Snake."
~THUD~
With a loud thud, the referee fell down with a hole in his chest.

Currently releasing 5 chapters a week Luke Kells liked only one thing about himself: his green eyes. He hated getting bullied, hated being poor, hated being an orphan, hated his weakness, hated the government, hated his life. If someone had given him a button to push and kill everyone but him and his granddad, he would've done it without a second thought. Then, one day, after fainting during a beating, he woke up with memories that would change his life. Magic, martial arts, how to craft special artifacts; he knew it all. Anyone would’ve taken that path to glory at once. However, he had to deal with a lot on his plate first. To even begin walking that path, Luke first had to deal with his own psychological issues. Almost two years of brutal bullying that was akin to torture and no support from the school staff of the police had left him with a broken soul. Before even realizing he could be rich or powerful, he had to bring himself out of the mental hellhole he found himself in. Oh, and his memories also told him the Sentinel Tower would change reality in six months to protect the planet from the Demonic Horde. But that wasn’t as important as not making the local bully angry, right? A story about personal growth, overcoming obstacles, and reaching absolute glory at the end of the path. This is a slow-paced, character-centered story. Young bloods (WIP)
" So-called leaders prostituted their people to wars and abuse. They destroyed families, culture and economies; their hands dyed red by the blood of the children, the families trampled by their lecherous motivations and diabolical war machines. Trained and taught by the Revenants or rather “young bloods” from their war-torn world, we were going to build a better world for us and for the later generations, a world when there shall be no more wars waged over territory, a world where boys and girls can frolic around for all of eternity." -Sasha, Terutan regular army cadet. ‘History is determined by the victors, and here we stand transcended over those who abused us. History is filled with liars, broken promises of eternal prosperity and peace. The more things change, the more things stayed the same: ideology change, location shift but power will always find a place to rest its head. We fought and bled for the adults, the grown men and women who preached of us being their future, preached us of the freedom from tyranny and slavery; no wonder why we hated them so. History is determined by the victor, and there shall be no victors when we’re done.’- Yulia Bronskavya, Red Army Homeguard. As the first modern war came to a close in November 1st, 1918, rows of passed juveniles laid the battlefields. In the name of some royal fat cats or some shitty national leader, cruelty and crimes were committed against the weak and the vulnerable younglings; in other words, adults were assholes. Their deaths marked a new beginning, a new beginning in a strange and magical land that was and had only been dreamt of in stories and folk tale, they had arrived to Terruta. The first ones regarded themselves as Revenants, heroes who had been able to be reborn in this world and began their adventure to explore this strange foreign land. However, “every coin have two sides, like everyone have two faces”. 'As they left their former life behind, the young soldiers and operators found themselves being deceived, abused and taken advantaged off again by the elders of this world. Many were abused, tortured, raped and sold to slavery, Revenants were quite sought after due to their timeless charm, strength, intellect and immortality, they were unable to be killed no matter what; many were bought and used as pets, slaves and entertainers for their masters’ entertainment. Fed up with the similar treatment and abuse by the adults of this world, many revolted and founded ICC, International Cooperative Coalition.'-Sasaki Kotegawa, JSDF Private.
