Tamer Of Cosmic Beasts Chapter 102

Akash Tagar stepped into the octagon and reached out to his side, touching the shields that covered the 8 sides of the arena.
~BOOOOOOO~
All Akash could hear from the vast audience was booing, but he didn't pay any attention to them. The Prime Paladins were getting angry, especially the hot-headed Daan Godlyn.
The referee blew the whistle, informing everyone that the match was about to begin before he raised his hand, looked at both sides and then dropped it as he announced.
"START!"
"I would like suggest that you surrender, you will die if we release our beasts."
Arshu Gimg advised Akash. However, the king didn't reply and just stood straight boldly, his figure was giving off an imposing aura. Chacha and Kamal felt it as well, even from afar, though their eyes only perceived a tall handsome man. Now, seeing Akash in front of them, made them feel an unusual level of threat.
Arshu Gimg instead was proud of himself. When he saw his opponent didn't even reply, he just boldly charged.
"I don't need my beast to defeat someone like you."
Arshu rushed towards Akash as Chacha yelled.
"Arshu, wait! Don't be stupid!"
Despite him hearing his leader, he didn't stop. He quickly reached Akash and swung his fist at his face.
~BANG~
The fist of the dark-skinned tamer connected, but not on Akash's face, rather it was on his palm. The latter had blocked the punch of the 5th Star tamer with ease. Then as he held the fist, he applied pressure to it.
~CRACK~
With a disgusting crunching sound, the fist of Arshu was broken.
"Aaaaagghh!"
Arshu let out a painful cry and fell on his knees, however, Akash still hadn't loosened his grip on Arshu's fist just yet.
"You should show some respect to your opponents, regardless of their strength."

Akash commented before stomping.
~BOOM~
He kicked Arshu right in his face, Arshu flew away and smashed against the cosmic shield. His nose, jaw and teeth broken. He fell unconscious as blood dripped from his mouth.
Silence fell on the audience, this single kick of Akash grabbed everyone's attention. They forgot that this stadium held four fights, the remaining three octagons lost everyone's attention including the media's. Every channel directed their cameras at Akash Tagar as the commentator spoke.
"What was that? A 3rd Star realm tamer just defeated a 5th Star realm tamer in such a one sided manner! Abran city is not here to play! This young man, named Akash Tagar, is stronger than anybody could have predicted!"
Chacha Mokh and Kamal Diod were astounded, but they quickly regained control of their senses and released their beasts, not daring to underestimate their opponent.
Chacha's 3 beasts were insects. The first of which was a 12-meter-long Rainbow Centipede with a multi-coloured body, holding a 4th Star realm. The second was a 5th Star, 15-meters-long Violent Ant. Its fangs and back were red, abdomen black and the legs were blue. The last beast was a yolk-yellow Sun Bee with a sword-like stinger at the 3rd Star realm. All his beasts were of a lower bloodline nobility rank. Besides Violent Ant, none were fully grown.
Kamal Diod released an 8-meter-long and 2nd Star Grey Silk Hound. It had long, grey and silky hair along with some large and sharp teeth. His 2nd beast was called a Black-Horned Bull, a 13-meter-long bull with bulging muscles at the 4th Star. The 3rd and final beast was a fully grown Small-Bone Skeleton, a 5-meter-tall rare species. It had reached the 6th Star realm which was unfortunately the highest it could reach due to its low 6th Star bloodline nobility rank.

Akash calmly looked at these beasts as a smile formed on his lips, angering his opponents. All of a sudden, bloodlust and killing intent filled the whole stadium. Many people immediately fell unconscious, some started to vomit while others couldn't even breathe. The judges and other government officials stood up, alerted.
"Who is this? This killing intent... Is there a terrorist or criminal amongst the audience?"
An old man in a black suit asked his fellows.
"No, all the notorious ones are in jail and those who are out wouldn't dare to step in here during the tournament. This... this is the first time I have felt such overwhelming pressure."
Only one person was aware of its origin, Akash Tagar. He closed his eyes and spoke.
"Calm down, Baba."
The atmosphere quickly returned to normal and subsequently, chaos befell the audience. Then, government officials came out to calm the people down, succeeding after half an hour of convincing.
The judges signaled the referee, and he resumed the fight, but it was already over. Everyone was amazed as they saw all 6 six beasts shivering out of fear. They didn't move an inch forward and even slowly stepped backwards.
The commentator spoke.
"I can't believe my eyes, the beasts are too terrified to fight. Those naive beasts think that the tamer of Abran city released that huge killing intent, the situation has turned in Abran's favour!"
The beasts were not naive, compared to humans, their senses were superior. They clearly felt the bloodlust and killing intent coming from Akash Tagar's side. They knew he had something or someone that could easily erase their existence without any effort. Thus, they instinctually surrendered to this powerful enemy quickly.
As the leader, Chacha Mokh was worried. He ordered his beasts to stop and fight, however, he stopped when he saw a terrified Kamal pulling his shirt.
"What are you doing, Kamal? The strange killing intent has already vanished. Focus on the battle, our city's reputation is at stake."
"Chacha... let's surrender."
Kamal said in a trembling voice.
"What?"
Chacha's eyes widened, he couldn't believe his companion was so frightened.
"I saw it... he was the one... who released that killing intent. He was smiling. When he closed... his eyes... the intent vanished as well."
Kamal explained slowly as Chacha looked at Akash in shock. He saw no reaction on Akash's face. His heart thumped faster.
"How is he unaffected by that huge pressure? Is Kamal telling the truth?"
After a moment of thinking, Chacha raised his hand and the referee turned to him and asked.
"What is it, tamer? "
"We want to surrender."
Chacha declared and everyone was put into a stupor by his words as the referee nodded and announced.
"The winner of the second match of B Block is Abran city! They will proceed to the next round on day after tomorrow!"
