Tamer Of Cosmic Beasts Chapter 71

Razi Tea was heading towards the Ogre's dukedom as he was trying to memorize the message Akash told him to pass on along with trying to remember the route instructions given by Golden Panther. As he took his first step out during the night, he heard a notification from the System.
*beep*
[Attention, Ancestor Law Enforcers! Abran City has been attacked. Save the city before it gets destroyed.]
Razi Tea's lifted foot had yet to touch the ground when his entire body froze. Then, he slowly turned his head towards Akash whose eyes were burning red as two veins bulged out on his forehead.
"Red Mamba, we need to go somewhere right now. Take care of V-Valley!"
Immediately after, he turned his eyes to Golden Panther.
"You will stay here and protect this dukedom. We'll be back soon."
Akash sent messages to everyone.
*beep*
[Abran is under attack, everyone is ordered to gather at the headquarters at once.]
Akash looked at the screen and told the System.
"Take us back to the headquarters."
With a light flash, Akash and Razi vanished into thin air, leaving Red Mamba and Golden Panther with their mouth agape and confused.
"Did you feel that?"
Red Mamba asked Golden Panther.
"Indeed, I did."
A drop of sweat rolled down his face as Golden Panther continued.
"I've never seen such intense killing intent, just who is this man?"
"That is something I would like to know as well."
The System sent an emergency message to everyone in the force. Haji Tea, Daan and the rest were busy with their practice when they suddenly heard it. All of them stood up and Baghi was staring at the screen as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
"Why... it's not the time for a Beast Raid yet."
Baghi muttered to himself while Zaheer Seth was enraged and clenching his glaive.
"I will kill them all, I won't let anyone destroy Abran ever again!"
Haji Tea was feeling a surge of anger in his heart as he kept looking at the screen, gritting his teeth. He was the one who forsaked wealth, power and fame just to raise Abran back to its former glory. He couldn't bear knowing that someone was trying to attack it at the moment.
Momi Tea went to his father and tapped his shoulder. Baghi jerked and came back to his senses. He looked at his son and his eyes widened further as he remembered his second son was in Abran as well. Baghi Tea gasped and uttered a name.

"Zo...ki."
A commotion arose in the area. The majority were angry, some were shocked, while the rest even started crying. They left their beloved ones at Abran and this attack was the reaction to Baghi Tea's interview.
*beep*
The message of their King, Akash Tagar, arrived.
"Let's go!"
Baghi Tea yelled and vamoosed. One by one, the rest followed, leaving Daan Godlyn behind. He looked at the unicorn who had come after the uproar.
"Please wait here patiently, our king has sent someone to look after here in his absence. We will be back in a few days, so announce that to everyone."
The unicorn nodded, he wanted to ask about this clamor but decided to stay quiet instead. After that, Daan left the Carnage Prison as well. He was an emperor himself, so he knew how hard it would be to digest a sudden incident like this for the new subordinates if they all just left suddenly. That's why he stayed behind for a bit to explain things briefly.
As soon as Akash and Razi arrived at the headquarters, they both ran out the door. They immediately saw smoke and heard cries, coming from multiple places. They were still there when the remaining force arrived.
Shock, sorrow, helplessness and then anger arose in their hearts, especially Baghi's. His eyes were flooded with tears as he remembered the last time this happened and couldn't believe it was occurring again, just when he thought things were finally going well.
"Please... stop."
He murmured subconsciously. At the same time, Akash felt something strange, he could only sense around 100 beasts. A Beast Raid usually contained thousands of beasts. So, he quickly asked the System.
"System, where are the remaining beasts?"
*beep*
[The city is not under attack by a Beast Raid. The perpetrators are human tamers.]
The System told not only Akash but everyone else as well.
"What!"
Baghi Tea's shock grew.
"But why?"
"Do you need a reason? Earl Baghi. Isn't this obvious?"
Akash replied and continued.
"There is no chance the other leaders would simply let you recruit all the independent tamers and rebuild Abran to its former glory without doing anything."
After saying this, Akash quickly made 8 teams comprised of 8-9 tamers with a single leader each: Daan Godlyn, Haji Tea, Sacra Emilat, Sohrab Khan, Baghi Tea, Zaheer Seth, Razi Tea and Akash Tagar. After forming, they scattered shortly after.
Akash flew towards the front as Bilawal Seth and Hasnain Seth accompanied him, with some other Teas. He crossed over a building and saw a few people there, wearing robes with hoods covering their faces.

"Who are you?"
Akash asked.
"Huh, that's my question! Who the fuck are you?"
The hooded man retorted. He was wearing a purple robe while the rest were wearing white. The rest of the teams met with similar groups as well with the exception of Razi's team.
Baghi was standing with a spear in his hand, he recognized the purple robes. He squinted his eyes and uttered.
"Death Gate."
The man with the purple dress removed his hood, revealing a thin elderly man with a white beard and moustache. He smiled at Baghi Tea and greeted him.
"Long time no see, Baghi."
"You scum, who gave you our contract?"
Baghi Tea asked.
"Are you stupid? Did we ever reveal your name when you gave us contracts? We are professional assassins. Nevertheless, as a token of our friendship, I will tell you that whoever wants to kill you gave us a hefty amount of money. He hired our whole clan just to annihilate your family, heheheh."
"Just try it, it won't be that easy."
Baghi replied and sent messages to everyone via the System.
*beep*
[They are Death Gate, a clan of assassins. Everyone be careful, they have 7 particularly strong and skilled tamers, known as the 7 Generals of Death Gate. I am currently confronting their leader. You should take care of the remaining 6 generals.]
"Death Gate! Those infamous killers!"
A Tea family member cried.
"Infamous or not, they are going to die here!"
Daan Godlyn stated.
"Hehehe, who would have thought that I would be facing a beastman here, such a strong one at that. Waheed Lund, 4th General of Death Gate, pleased to meet you before your inevitable death."
The assassin spoke as he removed his purple robe, revealing his bulky 2.43-meter body as well as a clean shaved face and bald bead. He was at the 1st Moon stage of the Star Captain realm and giggled as he approached his target.
Daan Godlyn looked at him.
"You are quite tall, considering your race."
"Quite? That's quite disrespectful, if I do say so myself. Apologize now or else I will show you why I am known as the Bone Crusher!"
~BAANNGG~
Daan Godlyn punched him, propelling him towards a building, collapsing it. Daan retorted as he moved towards the debris.
"I don't know about you but from today onwards, I will be known as the Slayer of the Bone Crusher."
Waheed dashed out of the wreckage and punched Daan, who quickly tried to block it with his hands.
~BOOOM~
With a loud noise, Daan was flung into a house himself, crashing through it and flying further on.
"Watch your words beastman, I will show you the power of my muscles!".
The gap between their realms was significant and Dann could not revive here. He coughed blood and quickly awakened his armour, Hadda Subedar covered his entire body, exacerbating their height difference even more. As he stood up, the assassin was shocked to see his new size and body before Daan shouted through his growls.
"Shut your mouth, midget!"
~Somewhere else~
Haji Tea was facing a lady in robes as well, she similarly revealed her face when she saw Haji. She had a perfectly curved body. However, her skin was green with black veins bulging everywhere.
"Greetings, Mayor Haji, my name is Emelia Portlet, 2nd strongest among the Generals of Death Gate. I wanted to fight your grandfather as he is an expert in poisons, alas, I'll have to settle for you."
She opened her dwelling and 6 poisonous insects came out.
"Tell me, can you give this lonely woman some pointers about poison?"
She licked her lips and looked at Haji Tea with a lewd face. In turn, Haji Tea gave a big sigh and started laughing.
"Haha, yeah, why not. If it's poison, then I am even more suitable than my grandfather. I shall let you use your poisons on me. So don't hold back and treat me as your test subject."
Haji Tea replied while grinning.
Zaheer Seth was running with his team when he spotted a group. A man was sitting on the corpses of dead people before standing up and stretching.
"Ahhh, so you joined them as well, Terrorist Zaheer Seth."
The man spoke.
"This was not in our agreement. We weren't informed of your involvement."
The man complained as he removed his robe, he was an old man as well. His height was similar to Zaheer's but he lacked his muscles. He wielded his scythe before introducing himself.
"I'm Juro Junejo, 3rd strongest Gen..."
"Suck my dick, Juro!"
Zaheer quickly interrupted him.
"Stop your bullshit and let's fight!"
Zaheer said as he rushed forward, wielding his glaive.

Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.
