Akash beckoned for Baghi who promptly and steadily came towards him, somewhat nervous on the inside.
Akash took out a scroll from his inventory and gave it to Baghi.
"Since you are a spear wielder and also possess the Lightning Law. I'd like to give you this 'Holy Lightning Spear' technique, learn it well."
Baghi took it in his hands and looked at it with awed eyes. Then came Zaheer Seth's turn, who came forward as well.
"You two old Earls have always stuck together and you too hold the power of the Lightning Law. Thus, I'll give this 'Chaotic Thunder Glaive'. "
The third one was Razi Tea.
"You acted as the leader of the Tea family, fighting and protecting as a leader should in war. Take this 'Spear of the Generals' and hone your spear skills with this technique.
Akash gestured the two twins to come forward with his fingers.
"You are two. yet you acted like one, keeping each other in balance. This 'Ying Yang Harmony' technique is made for the both of you. It is meant for two cultivators, one using the light attribute while the other uses the dark attribute, usable with all weapons."
Following the twins was Momi's turn.
"Momi Tea take this 'Slaughtering Spear' technique and practice it until you master it."
After that, Akash looked at Momi's youngest son.
"Meer, you are still in the learning process of wielding the spear, thus you have yet to solidify your own style. As such, I'd like you to take this 'Spear Technique of the Bhurt Family' technique, hailing from a big and strong family.
Meer's eyes glittered as he took it. Akash then turned his gaze towards the beastmen duo and orc.
"Daan, come here."
Daan came closer and knelt. Out of all his subordinates, Daan respected his leader the most. Everyone else had their own motivations and goals but he was aimless. He even felt empty after building that gigantic empire inside Akash's dwelling. All he wanted was to serve Akash till his dying breath. For Daan, Akash was not just a simple leader or king but more like an actual god. Akash held his shoulders and spoke.

"Stand up, Daan. The technique I have for you will require tremendous amounts of effort to master. Will you accept it?"
"I will accept whatever you have chosen for me, Your Majesty."
Akash smiled and took out another scroll from his inventory.
"You don't use any weapons, so this technique will be perfect for a beastman like you. Its name is 'Unrivalled in the Cosmos' and was made by a werewolf who had no backing at all. After unimaginable amounts of practice and effort, he made this masterpiece. With it, he defeated many powerful tamers and beasts."
Daan asked.
"My Liege, did you practice it as well?"
"No, I have other techniques for myself."
Akash replied.
Daan then asked another question.
"How many have mastered this technique?"
"I don't know, depends on how many the Beastman King has gifted it to."
Everyone was confused when they heard that. Who was this Beastman King? They all pondered. Akash caught their expressions and replied.
"Don't worry, even if there were many. No one will be able to reach your level once you fully learn it, you have certain privileges that other beastmen don't have, a strong body of the lionman tribe which is one of the strongest amongst all beastmen.
Not to mention, you have also evolved into a sabretooth after absorbing the dwelling gem, surpassing the limits of other lionmen. On top of that, you possess this armour and a law which many body cultivating tamers and beasts can only dream of, the Star Law."
"What!"
The others present looked at Daan in awe.
"He has a Mythical Grade law, one of the rarest ones at that!"
Baghi Tea exclaimed and Akash replied.
"Why are you so surprised? Your family also has the Mythical Grade Forest Law."

Baghi sighed.
"It's a tale of the past, no living member of our family currently possesses it."
"And who told you that?"
Baghi's and others' eyes widened.
"What do you mean, My Liege? Are you saying that one of us has it?"
"Yes, your very own genius grandson has the Forest Law, he simply hasn't awakened it yet."
Everyone looked at Haji Tea, who was as confused as them. Soon after, Baghi cackled happily.
"Haha, finally! Someone in our family has the caliber of my grandfather!"
"Don't be mistaken, Haji is not at your grandfather's level..."
The laugh of Baghi ended in an instant as he worriedly looked at Akash.
Akash continued without looking at him.
"He will surpass him."
Baghi touched his heart and huffed.
"My Liege, you almost gave me a heart attack."
Everyone laughed, Momi slid his arm on Haji's shoulder and gave him a one-armed hug, squeezing his neck.
"I'm proud of you son."
Haji replied.
"Uhh, I'm as happy as you father but... you are crushing my neck!"
Baghi glared at Momi.
"You moron, let go of him or he will catch your stupidity!"
Momi quickly freed Haji and stood straight.
"Sorry, father..."
Akash laughed and looked at the other side.
"Haha, alright, Sacra, come forward."
Sacra came and knelt as well, copying Daan Godlyn as Akash took out yet another scroll.
"For your top-notch long sword and overall fighting skills, this will be your technique. It was used by a royal family of the Fairy Planet. Learn it well and you will be counted amongst the best swordsmen in the cosmos."
Sacra thanked Akash and took a look at his scroll before reading its name.
"Imperial Art of the Sword."
The next one to get their technique was Sohrab Khan, he quickly came forward even without Akash's calling, who then looked at him before commenting.
"Impatient as ever."
"Hehe, hy King, please give me something as good as the 'Unrivaled in Cosmos' technique'."
Sohrab giggled as he said this and Akash smirked in response.
"It took me a lot of time to get this technique for you."
Sohrab naively grinned ear to ear.
"Thank you, Your Majesty. Was it made by a beastman? Or a royal family?"
"Neither."
Akash replied.
"My Liege, don't tell me it's an ancient technique lost to time?"
"Haha, unfortunately, I have no such thing in my possession."
"Then?"
Sohrab asked.
"It's a technique of a dwarf blacksmith who invented it to forge weapons, he also used a hammer and an axe to make weapons."
Sacra cracked in laughter while the others covered their mouth as well before Daan spoke.
"Sohrab The Blacksmith, has a nice ring to it."
Sohrab's smile vanished, he glared at Sacra with a side-eye and then turned his eyes towards Akash, making a sad face.
"My Liege, this is unfair treatment."

Cinder Roots (Undergoing a Rewrite)
This novel is currently undergoing a major rewrite, as I noticed several plot points that needed to be revamped. I'll leave the chapters I've posted here to anyone curious to see how everything started, but I'll be posting the rewritten story as a new novel in the future. The characters will be the same, but the journey will be more understandable and hopefully, a lot more fun to read. -------- First, everything was fire, it killed, it consumed, and it gave him life. He was just a tree, born in the biggest forest that remained in the world, full of dryads, naiads, elves and treants, but he was alone. He couldn’t see. He couldn’t talk. Curiosity plagued him. He dreamed of wandering the land, but could only wonder what stood outside the reach of his roots. The tree was tired of waiting. He decided to not just dream, but to act. How could he survive against a invading empire, a grand conspiracy that threatened to shake the foundations of the world, and the raw danger that lies within these woods? With pure determination. Warning - There are quite a few POV changes in the first chapters, but that'll change after the introduction is done, as I'll be focusing on the MC perspective only.
