Tamer Of Cosmic Beasts Chapter 51

The dragon was flying at a terrifying speed, the flapping of his dark onyx wings could be heard from afar. Akash Tagar calmly awaited his arrival as he raised his sword holding hand high and covered his mouth with the back of his other hand. Then, he opened his mouth wide and sighed loudly.
~Yaaawwwnn~
"Ahh, hurry up. I'm getting sleepy over here."
Red Mamba looked at Akash
"How could he be so carefree? I know he can revive but there is still a high bloodline dragon coming at him."
Mamba pondered silently. The dragon, on the other hand, was boiling in ire, Akash opened his profile.
*beep*
[Species: Black Dragon (Tamer)
Realm: 1st Moon, Star Prince
Aptitude: Medium-High Grade
Learnt Laws: Ice Law, Fire Law, Lightning Law
Inborn Laws: Martial Law (Awakened), Spatial Law (Awakened), Time Law (Yet to Awaken)]
Akash was somewhat surprised as he thought to himself.
"This angry fellow has such rare laws, the Martial Law for other races is common law but when it comes to beasts, its rank changes to a Mythical Grade law. He also has the legendary Spatial Law and the controversial Time Law. Some even believe the latter to be a mythical level law."
Akash looked at Red Mamba.
"Can you convince him to join us as well?"
Red Mamba shook his head. Meanwhile, the dragon opened his mouth, and a void circle manifested as he activated his "Spatial Rend" ability.
He threw the spatial attack at Akash whose eyes widened as he quickly jumped up and warned the others.
"Everyone, don't block this attack, just dodge it!"
Everyone was alarmed and moved away as the circle landed on the mountain.
~VIIXXXOOOOOM~
With a strange unpleasant noise, a huge chunk of the mountain was extirpated. It was so cleanly removed that it made Red Mamba worry a bit and Akash even more interested.
"Spatial Rend! To think the beasts here know such high-level spatial attacks. Very good, quite intriguing indeed."
Akash flew away from everyone while the dragon was focused on Red Mamba.

"Wait here, after mutilating that ant I'll come back to repay you for your betrayal."
Red Mamba hissed in reply and the dragon followed Akash. Mamba trailed after them with his Sonic Ox and Doom Demon. After Sohrab Khan and Sacra Emilat were ordered to help One-Eyed Wolf, they came towards the Red Mamba.
Akash stopped away from the mountain and the dragon landed not too far away as well whilst roaring, quaking the ground. The 100-meter-tall dragon stood in front of the 2-meter-tall Akash Tagar. For a fairy or human, he was quite tall, yet when compared to a dragon, he was more akin to a mere bug.
Akash Tagar gathered his powers and jumped toward the head of the dragon, who opened his mouth in response, emitting yellowish-orange light as he unleashed a blistering breath attack.
A beam of blazing fire erupted and swallowed Akash's entire body, who gritted his teeth. After the numerous evolutions he had undergone, he was familiar with these pains, he didn't care as long as he didn't die from it.
As the beam ended, Akash's burnt body became visible to everyone, his bones had become coal and the flesh looked like overly fried meat. He muttered in a barely audible voice.
"Heal."
After which, he heard a beep and a subsequent light engulfed him, healing his injuries rapidly. The dragon was startled but before he could speak, Akash quickly dove inside his mouth. However, before Akash could do anything while inside, chilling air ambushed him, turning him into an ice statue.
Black Dragon then spat Akash out, who fell from a height of 100 meters with his body and blood utterly frozen and upon impact with the ground, his body shattered into a million ice fragments. Seemingly the victor, Black dragon uttered.
"You should have known your place."
He then turned his hand towards the snake, who was strangely laughing, which only confused him. Which caused him to look behind him where the shattered corpse of Akash should've been, but instead, all he saw was a completely whole and healthy body as if he had never been struck with those attacks.

"How is this possible?"
"Everything is possible if you have enough power, you just witnessed it with your very own eyes."
Akash said
The dragon raised his foot and stomped.
"Die!"
Akash quickly used his martial art technique
"Parry the Heavens!"
The giant foot of the dragon was slightly circumvented but not entirely, it still smashed against the body of Akash, spraying blood everywhere. This time, the dragon didn't take off his foot and cease attacking, instead he put even more force into it.
"You should go and help him."
Doom Demon said to Red Mamba, but he didn't reply and just stayed silent, looking at the dragon. Black Dragon roared and spoke to Mamba without looking at him, his eyes still focused on his foot, crushing the body of the fairy man.
"Look closely, foolish snake. This will be your fate too."
Red Mamba hissed.
"Feel free to come at me!"
"Hah, you haven't even seen my true powers yet!"
The dragon replied.
"You aren't the only one with trump cards!"
Mamba retorted.
Dragon picked his foot up and blew an icy gale at the crushed Akash Tagar. A bone-chilling breath of air came out of Dragon's mouth and froze Akash's blood. After which, he used the "Spatial Rend" ability again.
The same void circle befell on the trampled body of a king. The entire piece of land around Akash was gone, fading into thin air.
"Try to revive now!"
The dragon triumphantly uttered as he started to move towards Mamba, the latter prepared himself for the upcoming opponent, when a voice came from behind.
"Aren't you forgetting something? Your opponent is still me!"
Black Dragon flinched as he slowly turned his head over to check. To his disappointment, Akash was standing there in top-notch shape.
"Would you join us?"
Akash suddenly asked, confusing the dragon, who growled in response.
"Piss off!"
He clenched his three-fingered fist and a burst of black lightning emerged out of it. In turn, Akash held his sword in both hands and gathered cosmic power around it. Before long, his adversary yelled.
"Strike of Lightning!"
Akash cried out in response.
"Slash the Heavens!"
One swung his fist while the other, his sword.
~KABOOOM~
With a loud blast, both collided head-on. The beast's one finger was cut off as he grunted in pain and anger.
On the other hand, Akash was flung away, rolling on the ground akin to a pebble on the surface of the water, smashing against a tree, breaking it in half which didn't impede his continuing flight. Then he collided with a boulder, shattering it as well until, finally, he slammed against a large hill, crumbling it in the process, now buried under the rubble.
Yet, once again, he stood up as chipper as ever, no sign of the punishment his body had just gone through. Looking at his now broken sword, he commented.
"I should've brought more spares…"
Akash sighed and released his full power, shaking the ground. His midnight-black claws came out, muscles bulged as he grew in height and his mouth widened with his teeth evolved into sharp fangs as well, now looking somewhat saw-like. His eyes turned black with elliptical blue pupils while his hair turned into long black needles.
The skin of Akash was now milky white, covered in scales, just like a humanoid dragon. At last, a surge of cosmic powers emerged at his back and two colourful wings resembling a sparrow grew, made of nothing but cosmic powers.
The 2-meter Akash had grown into 4.6 meters now, this was the form Akash had achieved after absorbing the three Primordial Beasts' blood. Everyone who saw this shivered, even from afar the army flinched when they felt this sudden burst of power. Akash then flew from the hill, towards his opponent and complimented him.
"That was a nice punch."

Legend of the Guild: Point Blank
Status: On hiatus indefinitely, because I'm going to be busy and the story is now at a place where it needs major reconstruction. Curt is a young gunslinger from a small town called Ore Town, situated in a barren wasteland known as the Dusts. While sabotaging the gang threatening his town, Curt is forced to take a leap of faith, literally. He plunges into the sea of clouds expecting death, only to arrive in an entirely new world beneath his own. Saved by a young girl using magic, Curt isn't too sure what to make of his second chance of life. When he meets a fellow Duster who had fallen years ago, he's roped into becoming second-in-command of a brand new guild. Guild duties aren't easy, especially as Curt is tasked to recruit fighters to take on the Grand Guild Tournament, where the winning guild takes home an enormous prize pool -- and most importantly, a mysterious ticket to the fabled "Star City" that exists above the clouds. Going with the flow only takes him so far, and Curt soon finds himself burdened with more responsibility than he bargained for, including the fate of the two worlds. ==============================Wordpress This webnovel is written for fun, and everything posted is essentially a first draft. Beware of typos and lack of creative descriptions — my main priority is to get the story out over writing quality. Still, I hope you enjoy the story. Updates are sporadic, but I aim to release a chapter (~2000-3000 words) at least once a week. Average release time is 1 chapter/3 days. I took inspiration from the lore of the MMO, Dungeon Fighter Online (Dungeon & Fighter), and there may be easter eggs or references to the game, but the story and characters have become wholly original and standalone.
