Tamer Of Cosmic Beasts Chapter 48

Baghi Tea and Zaheer Seth paced towards Akash Tagar but something halted them. They saw an assemblage of Star General beasts moving towards the One-Eyed Wolf's side. Baghi told Zaheer.
"Old fart, seems like they are drawing their remaining forces to help that dragon."
"Yeah, we must stop them."
Zaheer replied.
Soon, the twin brothers and the Tea brothers arrived near the old duo. Baghi looked at them and asked.
"Where is Haji?"
Razi replied.
"He went to help His Majesty together with Sohrab."
After hearing that, Baghi and Zaheer were relieved. Even though they knew Akash wouldn't die and could revive, they were still worried and willing to die without hesitation for him if necessary. This was the effect of the blood subordinate contract, the golden paper which entered their body during their appointments as Earls.
"Alright, let's go and wrap things up."
All six of them went after the beasts. At the same time, a duel between swordsmen was at play. Sacra Emilat and Doom Demon were at each other's throat, with a strengthened Sacra and a weakened Demon, they were equal in powers.
The demon yelled in anger.
"What kind of power is that? I've cut you nearly a hundred times and yet you are still standing with perfect health. I have never heard of such a tremendous healing power."
Sacra smirked.
"Do you want to know the secret behind that?"
The demon silently looked at Sacra and nodded.
"One condition."
Sacra declared.
The demon's expression changed.
"Do you think you can bargain with me? You are not in any position to do it!"
Sacra closed his mouth, contracted his oral commissure, and widened his eyes, replying with a poker face.
"No shit! You mentally defective dummy."
Doom Demon growled but he didn't have any other options.
"What is the condition?"
"Become my contracted beast."
Sacra stated.
"I would rather die than have a master weaker than me."

The demon rushed with all his four weapons at hands, swinging the blunt sword.
~CLANG~
Sacra stopped the attack with his sword, this time Sacra wasn't flung away by the impact, thanks to Ponytail's buff.
Sacra replied.
"If that is the case, then die!"
The demon growled and swung his sword downwards, quickly, Sacra used his glowing wings made out of wind to cover his head. After a loud impact, the sword was stopped.
~CHIRISHIRISHIRISHIRI~
Surprisingly, however, the demon didn't stop but instead tried to cut through the wind of Sacra, his sword acting like a saw with teeth-like protrusions on its blade. Coronela spoke.
"Master, his swords..."
"I know, Coronela, all four have different functions. One is a heavy and blunt weapon lacking in sharpness, meant only for smashing. Second, a rapier, perfect for quick and precise thrusts. Third one is a giant blade for clean slashes and cuts. While the fourth..."
Sacra waved one of his wings, forcing the demon to jump away to dodge it.
"Fourth is a saw, only used when something cannot be smashed, cut or pierced through just like my wings."
Doom Demon switched his saw-like sword from his fourth hand to his second hand and jumped to the sky. Making use of the gravity from his fall, he aimed his saw and blunt swords down onto Sacra.
"This is no ordinary beast. No wonder, My Liege, ordered me to tame it."
Sacra veered his sword and shouted.
"Cut of The Wind Queen!"
With a giant wind slash, the swords of the demon were cut cleanly. The latter then looked at his swords and uttered.
"I've got no choice left…"
The demon bellowed out loudly, Sacra stabilized himself for an upcoming attack, but none came, instead the demon had bolted away. Sacra was still looking at the back of the fleeing demon, baffled.
"Huhh... don't tell me that cunt tricked me?"
Coronela answered.
"Yes, he did, master."

"Oh no, His Majesty will kill me!"
Sacra followed the demon, going deep into the enemy lines. When he arrived in the middle of a battle, a beast roared at him and attacked. Sacra swung his sword in response and cut it in half, however, immediately after, a silhouette appeared behind and stabbed Sacra.
Now, blood poured out of the newly created wound. Then, the demon arrived in front of Sacra, giggling.
"Night Armour."
Darkness covered the demon's body as he was slowly approaching Sacra, startling him.
"What is this?"
He was astonished, he couldn't smell, hear or feel the presence of the demon. He was only able to see vivid smoke surrounding him, but, soon enough, in the crowd of thousands, the demon vanished as well.
~SLASH~
Sacra's arm flew away, shedding blood along the way, causing him to cry in pain and blindly swing his sword, cutting nothing but air. Sacra flew to the sky quickly and stood in mid-air, trying to find the demon.
~SWOOSH~
Seemingly out of nowhere, the rapier pierced his heart and Sacra coughed up blood before falling on the ground. Soon enough, Sacra revived and stood up again.
~SLASH~
His head was then cut off, dropping to the ground, and killing him yet again. And so, this cycle of death and revival continued. After a while, Sacra was looking here and there like a mad man until Coronela spoke.
Sacra's eyes widened, he closed his eyes and the two small wings vanished from his back. Sacra stood there without moving an inch until the silhouette arrived again, from the back this time, however, Sacra quickly rotated his hips and swung his sword.
"AARRRGGGHH!"
The demon cried out as the slash cut his chest.
"How... how is this possible?"
Shocked, the demon couldn't believe what had just occurred.
"It must be a fluke."
The demon jumped and made an attack from above. Sacra moved his sword swiftly with his left hand, cutting both arms of the demon. Then, Sacra threw his sword and gripped an arm with his right hand.
With a loud grunt, Sacra punched the demon right in his guts, making him cough and lose his breath before flying a few meters away.
The smokey black armour disappeared and he was laying on the ground, exhausted. With so much blood pouring out and such a continuously one-sided fight. The latter didn't have any strength left in his body, he looked at Sacra and said while panting.
"You... you can only... win by through this cheat skill. In a... one-on-one *aarrggh* honest fight... none of you... could stand a chance."
Sacra's two vanished wings came back, Coronela had told him about the other effects of the wings. He had scattered his wind-based wings in his surroundings, making a 2-meter radius detection zone. When Doom Demon stepped into it, Sacra could clearly feel his position and attacked.
Sacra slowly approached and stepped on the demon before sitting on his chest and replied.
"Everything is fair in love and war."
Sacra opened his hand as Coronela flew into it. Then, he placed the sword on the fallen demon's neck and said in a serious tone.
"I can save you, we can both become great partners. You can have this reviving power too, think wisely and join us."
Demon was staring at Sacra. After a moment of thought, he replied.
"I made an oath with Red Mamba. While he is alive, I will serve no one else."
Sacra looked at Red Mamba who was fighting near Akash Tagar and chuckled.
"Haha, no worries. He is about to die too."
Demon retorted.
"Ignorant fool, you don't know him."
Sacra forced the sword and slightly cut the demon's neck.
"No... it's you guys who don't know our King."
