Tamer Of Cosmic Beasts Chapter 32

Both Baghi and Aisha's eyes broadened, Baghi Tea turned his head towards Haji.
"I am very proud of you, grandson. You have made a great decision by joining this force."
Haji Tea simply smiled and replied.
"I told you, grandpa."
Baghi Tea moved towards Akash and knelt.
"My Liege, from this moment onwards, your wish will be my command and your order will be my mission. I will serve you for the rest of my life."
Akash held Baghi's shoulders.
"Stand up, Earl Baghi."
Baghi stood up and Akash sat down on the sofa. Following which, he invited the Tea family to sit as well, gesturing to the sofas in front of him.
"Are you sure about what you said, Earl Baghi?"
Akash asked as they all sat on the sofas.
Baghi Tea confirmed his earlier words immediately.
"I am a man of my word, My Liege. I meant what I said."
Akash leaned back on the sofa, put his left leg on top of his right and touched his right eyebrow with his index finger. He looked Baghi in the eyes and spoke.
"I want to conquer this planet and destroy its governments and organizations, then build my own in their place. I want to become the sole ruler of this planet called Earth."
Aisha choked and coughed as if something got stuck in her throat, she couldn't digest what she had just heard. On the other hand, Haji Tea's face turned pale, he knew that he was bound by the subordinate contract and could not go against Akash Tagar if he wished to wage war against the world's government.
If the war broke out, it would be a one-sided victory for the government, they surpassed their force by a thousandfold in both quantity and quality.
Haji Tea turned his head towards his grandfather, gulped and murmured.
"Shit... we are dead…"
Haji Tea saw that instead of worrying, his grandfather had a smirk on his face, a wicked one. Baghi Tea gave a big loud sigh and spoke.
"All my life, I have hated the government and these so-called organizations from the bottom of my heart. When Abran was attacked years ago, they all turned their backs on us.
They said that our city was destined to be destroyed, but they still took taxes from Abran. Those honourless, hypocritical swines.
I wanted to destroy them as well but for the sake of my family and due to my lacking strength, I couldn't realistically oppose them."
Baghi Tea stood up and laughed loudly as tears of happiness rolled down his cheeks. Suddenly, his body gave out a burst of cosmic energy, which startled Haji and Aisha.
"Hahaha, but now I am no longer the head of my family, neither am I alone. I couldn't be more delighted. My long revenge will finally be fulfilled."
Baghi cupped his fists and looked at Akash, his eyes turning red and fierce.

"My Liege, let me be your sword so that you can use me to slay those scums of the earth."
Haji Tea was shocked by the words of his grandfather. Deep inside his heart, a feeling of jealousy emerged. He quickly stood up.
"Grandpa, you are too old to fight on the front lines. Our family still needs you!"
He looked at Haji Tea with a side-eye.
"Oye, you brat. What family you are talking about? I don't know any family. My name is Earl Baghi."
Haji Tea was looking at his grandfather with a dropped jaw, flabbergasted.
"Ehh, grandpa... don't tell me you got dissociative identity disorder…"
~PFFTTT~
Akash burst into laughter and Baghi Tea joined him. The last one to laugh was Aisha, it was her first time doing something other than being shocked.
Haji Tea was looking at them, confused.
"Hey... what happened, don't tell me you were messing with me?"
"Of course I was, hahaha… However, I was serious when I said I'll be the sword of King Akash."
Baghi Tea asked Akash.
"My Liege, what are your plans?"
"We need to return Abran's to its former glory… In fact, we need to even surpass it."
Baghi Tea squeezed his eyebrows.
"So, Your Highness means that we have to wait till you have won the tournament?"
Akash shook his head.
"No."
The Tea family was stunned. After recovering from their reoccurring state of bafflement, Haji asked.
"My Liege, please tell us what you have in mind."
Akash started to walk towards the gate and the rest followed him. He said while walking.
"Are you willing to take risks? Risks of losing everything, including your hard-earned family assets."
Their feet froze, Akash, of course, realized that and even expected it, to a degree.
"Did I ask too much?"
Baghi Replied.
"No, My Liege. It's just that... I'm no longer the head of my family. I've transferred my position to my eldest grandson. I no longer have any right on any family decisions now, according to our family's law."
All of them came out of the headquarters. The familiar, natural air refreshed Akash Tagar. He closed his eyes and instructed.
"Call them."
Haji Tea responded.
"Pardon?"
"Call everyone from your family, every single member. As soon as possible."
Haji and Baghi looked at each other and nodded. Baghi Tea picked up his phone and went to the side.
At the same time, a vehicle was coming towards the headquarters at a high speed and stopped near the gate. A man came out of it, Mike.
"Hey, lil bro! You are back."
Haji Tea looked at Mike fiercely and yelled.
"MIKE, WATCH YOUR TON..."
Haji was stopped by Akash.
"He is my brother. Don't treat him badly, Mr Haji."
Mike was shocked by Haji's sudden burst of anger, Akash looked at him and called out to him.

"Hey, bro."
Mike couldn't believe that this was the same Akash Tagar.
"Are you... really lil' bro, Akash?"
"Haha, yes, it's me."
Mike went up and hugged Akash, the latter had nearly forgotten how a hug had felt like. This moved him more than he anticipated as he hugged Mike back. Mike looked over Akash from his hair to his feet.
"Woahh! Lil bro, you look so handsome and powerful. How could you change this much in just a month?"
"I underwent body surgery for the tournament."
Akash replied jokingly.
"Haha, you think I'll believe that?"
"It's up to you, haha."
Akash and Mike were still talking when Baghi Tea came back. He told Akash.
"I've called them, they are coming here right away."
Akash asked.
"How long will they take to arrive here?"
"One day and a half at most."
"I see."
Akash shifted his head back towards Mike and asked.
"Brother, is there any good restaurant here with some nice scenery?"
Mike replied without hesitation or further thought.
"There is a restaurant at the riverbank, it belongs to Mr. Haji."
"Ohh, then let's go and eat there. Brother Mike, please take us there."
Mike went to the car as Akash looked at Haji.
"Mr. Haji, remember how I told you on the phone that I had a gift or two for you?"
Haji's eyes immediately started glittering again.
"Yes, My Liege, how could I forget."
Akash took out a long spear from his inventory. It was a green-coloured spear with some stripes of teal and turquoise, the blade of the spear itself was black.
Overall, a very beautiful and well-designed spear. The three of them were looking at it in awe.
Akash raised it and spoke.
"This is a Mythical Grade spear. It is unbelievably sharp and poisonous, there exists no other spear in my knowledge that can rival it. This is your first gift, take it."
Haji Tea's hands were shaking as he took the spear. Not even in his wildest dreams had he ever imagined getting a Mythical Grade weapon, with a Poison Law at that. Haji Tea couldn't believe that Akash had given him such a precious weapon instead of simply keeping it for himself.
His admiration and respect for him grew several-fold from that alone.
" I... I don't know how to thank you, My Liege. Am I even worthy enough to have it?"
Akash looked at him with a side-eye and replied.
"Are you questioning my decision, Mr. Haji?"
Haji was startled.
"No, no, My Liege. I would never."
Akash smiled.
"Very good."
Akash looked at the spear, now in the hands of Haji, and touched it.
"The name of this spear is Duran Subedar... I have a strong attachment to this spear. With this spear and the 7 Ways of the Death Spear technique, you could conquer the world. Take good care of it."
Haji Tea knelt and spoke.
"I don't have any wish to conquer the world, my only wish is to fight for your cause and to protect you from every danger."
"Very well then."
Akash took something out from his inventory again. This time, it was a glowing green gem, giving off a turquoise hue. Haji and Baghi could guess that these two gifts had originated from the same source.
Akash gave it to Haji Tea again and elaborated.
"There are 3 more realms of cultivation above Star God. They are Cosmic King, Cosmic Emperor and Cosmic God. A Cosmic King tamer can kill a Star God realm tamer with just a simple snap of their fingers."
All three of members of the Tea family were terrified and Baghi pondered.
"There... are beings... stronger than Star God tamers!"
Akash continued.
"This gem is the Star Dwelling Core of a Poison Law Dragon who was at the realm of a Cosmic Emperor."
Haji's eyes almost popped out while Baghi started to tremble. Only the latter and Akash Tagar could grasp the might of such a beast. Baghi had once seen 3 beasts at the Star Emperor realm, their power still traumatized Baghi's mind to this day.
They were the ones who had destroyed Abran, but now, he was looking at the core of a beast who was many magnitudes stronger than them.
"Keep it in your inventory, for now, I'll tell you how to use it later. For now, let's go to your restaurant."
Akash went and sat in the car. A little later, after forcibly calming his excitement down, Haji Tea shook his head and slowly followed suit.
Baghi held Haji's shoulder, halting his walk, and spoke.
"Haji, you are the pride of our family, I love you more than my other sons. I know you are a kind and righteous person.
Yet, if you ever betray this person, I will never forgive you. He has given us something which can never be bought from anywhere."
Haji Tea laughed and replied.
"Calm down, grandpa. It was me who introduced you to the King, not you. Of course, I know how important this is."
"Haha, I almost forgot that. I'm very proud to have a grandson like you."
"Same here, grandpa. I'm lucky to have you as my grandfather."
Both Haji and Baghi went to the car, while behind them, a woman was still standing. Her eyebrows were twitching, and she was almost on the edge of collapse due to absorbing the magnitude of the recent events.
"Wait... wait.,. for me!"
Aisha hesitantly said as she ran towards the car.

My Failed Reincarnation as a Demon’s Prisoner
When Kayn opened his eyes in the empty void, he was met with a familiar voice and the knowledge that he was neither dead nor alive and about to be reincarnated. What he didn't expect was to reappear in the world of the living and immediately get captured by a clan of demons, now living as their prisoner. After a lucky encounter, Kayn stumbles upon a room that could possibly give him what he needs to free himself from their captivity. But, as he soon finds out, escaping from the demon queen herself isn't the easiest of tasks... **DISCLAIMER**This story attempts to be quite comedic (I don't know if I'm doing a great job at it) and will be more comedy heavy at the start than later on. As the situations Kayn finds himself in become more grave, the story will become serious and less comedy oriented. There will always be comedy throughout, but at some point I do plan on shifting the focus. I'd love to hear everyones opinion on whether the comedy should be kept in full, or dialed back a little so the plot can take centre stage more often. Happy reading!
