Tamer Of Cosmic Beasts Chapter 28

The Omni Dragon King landed on the temple. Akash saw a huge snake-like dragon with a slender yet long body, his length seemingly immeasurable. The Omni Dragon King covered the sky. Only the front of his body was visible as the rest of it was hidden among the clouds.
Akash couldn't even pretend to have a grasp on how large his back was.
The dragon flicked his head and glided through the sky. As a few more thunderclaps were heard by Akash, Omni Dragon King descended but his size was different now, many times smaller than before.
Akash murmured to himself.
"That's the same skill that Ancestor Turtle used…"
As the Dragon King came down and constricted around the temple, he fits perfectly on the statue that Akash had seen before. The beast was very strange, it had the antlers of a deer, foxlike ears, a head resembling a camel with shiny spear-like teeth and the eyes of a demon, ferocious and bloodshot. His neck resembled a snake, with a clam-like belly and scales exactly like that of a carp. His eagle-like claws looked polished, powerful and pernicious, embedded in the paws of a savage jaguar.
Akash looked at him with his mouth agape, shocked.
"Is that a dragon or a chimera?"
Akash asked himself in wonder, after looking at him like a child fascinated by the stars in the sky until he eventually snapped out of it.
Akash couldn't understand why he was so surprised, he had seen the wildness of the Ancestor Tiger, the beauty of Ancestor Sparrow and the wisdom of Ancestor Turtle but still, there was something unique to Omni Dragon King.
Akash Tagar commented in his mind.
"He... he is the strongest of the four."
Akash looked towards the 10 Dragon Kings, still calmy kneeling. There wasn't a single hint of fear in their eyes with the exception of Zidiro's.
The Omni Dragon stared at Akash and spoke in a chivalrous voice.
"Welcome, Akash."
Akash bowed respectfully. All his hesitations vanished when he felt the dragon's friendly aura.
"Thank you, Ancestor Dragon."
The dragon looked at Akash with fierce eyes. The air flickered and tore apart while the ground shook and the remaining trees fell.
"Are you defying me?"
Akash flinched and the beast continued.
"How dare a lowly weak creature like you call me, the Omni Dragon King, his ancestor? Do you think I am like the rest of the Primordial Beasts? You should be executed for such a sin."
Akash's heart skipped a beat and his body temperature and blood pressure rose out of fear. His mind was bombarded with questions and how to respond.

"Will I die here? What about Ancestor Turtle's mission? My planet? Should I apologize?"
Akash quickly decided to apologize but the Proud Sabretooth's instincts ignited his pride. He once again heeded these primal instincts.
"No! I've been apologizing to everyone since my previous life. I'd rather die with my pride this time!"
Akash looked at the 10 dragons, they all were looking at Akash with eyes full of killing intent. The same dragons that were kneeling in Akash's respect a little while ago.
Akash spoke with conviction.
"I don't think I've said anything wrong. I called you Ancestor to express my respect, not to link myself to you in a biological bloodline. Kill me if you want but I won't make it easy."
The entire area turned dead silent. It was so mum that you could even hear a pin drop. All of a sudden, a snorting voice came from the 6th pillar which startled Akash as he thought that might've been an attack.
The silence turned into crackling laughter.
"BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA, sorry... I couldn't control myself anymore."
Oronol said while laughing.
"HIHIHIHI, poor soul."
This time, it was Frost who cackled.
There was, however, a giant dragon whose laughter was louder than anyone else's, he laughed slowly and strangely which made the others laugh even more.
"HAW, HAW, HAW, HAW!"
It was Jeeth, he was rolling back and forth while laughing. After a while, he stopped rolling and looked at Akash while mimicking his voice.
"Kill me, but I won't make it easy... HAW.HAW.HAW, like you could defend yourself if any of us wanted to actually kill you."
He started rolling around again until he eventually fell off the pillar.
Akash was dumbfounded, he looked at them while scratching his head, puzzled, worried and curious. Dragons were proud and noble creatures, who had a high sense of honour and thought of everyone else as lesser with the exception of a few pinnacle races.
What Akash was seeing was not what anyone could expect from such a legendary race, not to mention their kings.
Hadda was the one who was laughing the least out of them, he looked at the Omni Dragon King and sighed.
"When will you start behaving like a king, My Lord?"
The Omni King was laughing as well, he was 2nd loudest amongst them all.
"HOHOHO, I've wanted to prank someone for a long time now and he seemed like the perfect prey."
Akash finally understood what was going on.

"They all planned to trick me since I didn't know their personalities."
Akash wiped his sweat, took a deep breath and chuckled.
"Haha, your joke almost killed me."
Zidiro replied to him.
"Hahaha, don't tell us that you pissed your legs, O' New King."
Everyone laughed as Akash looked at Zidiro.
"So, you were joking earlier, when you threatened me?"
The laughter slowly vanished, Zidiro lowered his head in guilt.
The Omni Dragon King looked at Zidiro with a side-eye but didn't say anything.
"I apologize for my misbehaviour, New King. I got carried away by my emotions, I am willing to accept any punishment you give."
Zidiro retorted.
The Omni King spoke right after.
"Zidiro is the one who has suffered the most from this war, more than any of my other lords. He completed an impossible mission that I gave him, but he paid a great price, he lost his entire tribe of thousands of dragons. Not even his family survived. You should forgive him for what he said, son."
Akash smiled.
"I know how it feels to lose your loved ones, no need to apologize, Lord Zidiro."
Omni King spoke again.
"That's more like a king. By the way, don't call me Ancestor. It makes me feel old, call me father instead."
Coronela made a mocking face and retorted.
"Ehh, you still think you are young, My Lord? I haven't seen you change since I was a child, and I am a million years old now."
"Yup, my grandfather said the same thing you just said."
Roro added another salty comment.
"You traitors!"
Omni Dragon snored.
Akash was looking at the whole scene in silence. He saw something different in all 4 of the Primordial Beasts.
Ancestor Turtle was not attached to his cosmic beasts besides a few exceptions like Golden Monkey King and Ying Yang Bear Queen. Thus, he resembled an introverted scholar. Ancestor Tiger, on the other hand, ruled with his wild, brute strength and made everyone else fear him through his tyrannous ferocity. Whereas, Ancestor Sparrow was loved because of her beauty and charm, as an unreachable Queen.
However, looking at the Omni Dragon King and his lords, Akash believed that he was the real King. The other Dragons didn't fear him, they respected him and followed him with their own volition.
Akash broke the bickering of the dragons with his words.
"Alright then, I'll call you Father Dragon."
Omni Dragon King laughed happily in response after which Akash threw a question at him.
"Father, what or who caused the war? Can you tell me in detail?"
Everyone's face turned gloomy. The king replied.
"It's too early for you to know, Wise Turtle will tell you at the right time."
"But Ancestor Sparrow was about to tell me before someone stopped her."
Akash retorted.
"Don't call her Ancestor, she is not old either and Dawn was too naive, that's why I told her to stop."
"It was you?"
Akash eyebrows combined as he furrowed them when he asked.
"Yes, it's for your own good."
Akash replied right after.
"Alright, father, I will wait then."
"Good."
"Thanks for the name as well, father."
Omni Dragon was puzzled.
"Name! What name?"
Akash simpered and answered.
"My dwelling's name, All-Devouring Dwelling."
"What are you talking about, son? I didn't give you the name."
Akash was addled.
"Whose... whose voice was that then?"
He harbored.
Omni King looked at the confused Akash and spoke, seemingly to avoid having to explain further.
"I can at least tell you who was behind the war."
"Wasn't it Red Bone Lion?"
Omni King shook his head.
"Red Bone Lion was just a puppet."
From the 8th pillar, Kaliya said to Akash.
Hadda continued from that.
"All the Primordial Beasts were involved in it."
"I remember Ancestor Turtle said something like that too."
Akash responded
"Yup, Wise Turtle hid that from you on purpose. Regardless, let me continue, The Red Bone Lion and Proud Sabretooth attacked Lady Dawn and Omni Dragon King. After their fierce fight, Omni Dragon King and Sabretooth were injured and tired.
All the remaining Primordial Beasts invited these 4 to join their Declaration of Cosmic War. However, 3 of them rejected it except Red Bone Lion. He accepted their declaration and they joined hands together to attack and devour the other 3 cosmoses.
Wise Turtle stepped in and used ABSOLUTE REWIND to save the lives of the 3 you have met, but their cosmoses were lost.
That was when we figured out that Red Bone Lion was just a pawn as the main ringleader was Witty Abyssal Raven. A Primordial Beast whose wickedness rivaled the wisdom of Turtle"
Akash engraved this name in his heart.
"Witty Abyssal Raven…"

[Archive] Legend of the Nameless Hero
A WhiteSamurai original Web Novel There are always the mysterious tales of heroes, those who fight against the Demons, who fight for justice and those who head mighty quests against tyranny. Heroes that are born to destiny, Heroes that are forged through tragedy, and Heroes that are brought to the world in times of great peril and strife. Not all true Heroes are wanted or beloved, but all life understands, that throughout all time and space, for those who truly stand as Heroes, they never need to be called one. The sands of time are the only true judge for those who journey upon the true path, the only one they will ever need. This is the tale, no, the Legend, the Legend of the one who throughout all time, would forever be, the First Hero. This is Their story, a story of true hardship, of a sorrow greater than any other that would stand as a symbol of inspiration no matter the test of time. A tale of darkness, a true curse, an impending evil hidden beyond the horizons that threatened the very future of existence. This is the tale, of one of the few great figures, who, in the face of true evil, continued to stand. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Disclaimer: _______________________________________________________________ . . . All Chapters are subject to sudden revision, scrapping, or complete removal from the canonical storyline. The author of "Legend of the Nameless Hero" uses RoyalRoad as a method of experimentation with genre's and writing styles for Fantasy-style works for the sake of eventual publication. The end result isn't to release perfect chapters on RoyalRoadl, but eventually develop the story as intended using the best material to produce the highest quality work. The best mentality when reading works from WhiteSamurai is to see it as the ability to read and review pre-release transcripts or "Rough Copies" before publication. Viewer discretion and maturity are both requested and required. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :About: _______________________________________________________________ . . . This story follows direct character point of views along with an intentional third person narrative to explain to the readers what the characters won't. (I don't use my characters to go give extensive explanations for every last thing like EVERYTHING DOES) This tale shall encompass the life of the Hero from the moment she is summoned into the Kingdom of Kremor, to the Legendary Final Clash. This isn't your run of the mill hack and slash raise an army and conquer, I don't follow that bandwagon. Real life holds politics, intrigue, economics, structure, populations, civil opinions, history, psychology, heart, suffering, wonder, advancement, curiosity, ambition, and so many more things that would lead to me hitting some character limit. I refuse to take the same route that others use by simply ignoring these factors, my worlds, my stories, are as real as they get. There's no plot armor here, if someone screws up, they've screwed up and there's no magical sword in a well for them. I write in 'Seasons' not 'Books' as many often do, these are generally, not always, hundreds of chapters long, though as I have yet to finish a season, the average length is in the air. I go by an ideal of what I call 'Universal Lore' which includes the policy that things that exist within the story don't follow the rule where the Protagonist needs to be there so that it will happen. There will be some things that will happen, and the hero, and sometimes the reader, won't know happened until they enter a place, or news gets to them. A person needs to be in the right place at the right time, I hate plot holes and meta characters above all else... For my works, comments are practically demanded as reactions, thoughts, and various viewpoints are like sweet fuel to my writing spirit. Reviews are highly accepted and appreciated, BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE EDUCATED AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED. Those that throw down a low rating ARE HIGHLY REQUESTED to extensively detail and explain their viewpoints on the work. They should also be willing to come back to the work at a later date if messaged by the Author, Me, due to issues they mentioned being taken care of. I'm never against scrapping a chapter or rewriting several paragraphs if there are character or story discrepancies. I want the highest quality work possible, and every comment, every review, are tools for me to use to further that goal. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Status: (Ongoing)
