Tamer Of Cosmic Beasts Chapter 26

Akash poured a bit of his cosmic power into the body of Daan. Daan closed his eyes and focused on the energy, his heart started to burn. His whole body began trembling, startling everyone, they tried to help me but were stopped by Akash.
Daan couldn't hold back and roared in pain loudly.
~WOOOSH~
A surge of energy came from Daan. He was full of sweat, he was baffled.
Shahdar asked in worry.
"Danny, are you okay?"
Daan was still in a daze as he kept looking at his hands and touching his body in awe. After a while, he finally spoke.
"I have never felt so powerful!"
Everyone's eyes widened.
Daan continued to speak.
"If I fought Duglu now, I believe I could kill him in a punch."
Daan looked at Akash,
"Thank you, My King, for bestowing me with such powers."
Akash retorted.
"That's not even considered as the tip of the iceberg. Follow my instructions and you will find out eventually. Now, focus on training."
Everyone nodded.
Akash made three shifts for them to practice. Eight hours on cultivation, eight hours on teaching language, eight hours of sleep.
~7 Months later~
Akash was sitting on a rock and in front of him, 7 people were kneeling.
"I've given you all the important knowledge regarding the cultivation and have also taught you how to read and write. As such, it's time for me to go, I'm not sure if we will ever meet again or not."
Everybody was silent, Akash Tagar had told them this beforehand while training. They were prepared and weren't shocked.
Akash continued.
"I will leave behind 7 scrolls for you and your people to allow you all to continue your education and training.
1. A Book for Kingdom Construction
2. A Book of Law
3. A Book of Economy and Currency
4. A Book of Jobs
5. A Book for Military and Warfare issues
6. A Book for Cultivation, its realms and laws
7. A Book about taming beasts
Learn these fully yourself and teach each other and your fellow people."
Akash gave one book to each of them.
"Alright, it's time for me to go back from where I came from."
Daan stepped forward.
"My King, could I follow you there?"
Zanda and Sohrab followed Daan.
Akash waved his hand.
"Perhaps in the future, if possible, but not now."
Akash called his consciousness back into his body and vanished from his inner dwelling world. Daan and the rest were looking at the spot where Akash was just a few moments before.
Sohrab threw out a question again.
"Do any of you know his name?"
Everyone was bothered by this question, but no one knew the answer.
Shahdan sighed and said in disappointment.

"Do we really deserve his teachings?"
Akash opened his eyes and looked at Ancestor Sparrow standing in front of him.
"Greetings, Ancestor. I'm sorry, I had to make you wait for a few minutes."
The Sparrow raised her eyebrow.
"Oh, a few minutes? I thought I've been waiting for around 7 months."
Akash was startled, he thought the time inside his dwelling ran faster than outside. He had only had his Chaos Dwelling for a few hours and many generations had already passed inside of it. Akash was confused and didn't know what to say.
The Sparrow saw his confusion and hesitation.
"You are right in thinking that the structure of time is different in dwellings. However, only if your consciousness is not in there. If you send your conscious there, then the time will sync with your body."
Akash understood and bowed down.
"I'm really sorry, Ancestor, I didn't know it worked that way. Otherwise, I would have come out much sooner."
Sparrow laughed.
"Haha, it's okay. I don't have much to do here as well."
Akash gave a fake laugh as well.
Akash suddenly flinched, he remembered something and asked.
"Ancestor, is it possible to take out someone from the Chaos Dwelling to the real world?"
The sparrow smiled.
"Well, it's..."
Before she could speak, they both heard something, for Akash, it was a series of vibrations that gave him a sudden headache.
Sparrow hurriedly looked towards the side. The fog was covering everything, making it hard to make out anything. She nodded while looking there and then turned her head towards Akash.
"My child, I guess our time is limited."
Akash could catch understand the sudden change, he didn't pursue it and replied in a respectful manner.
"As you say, Ancestor."
The Sparrow flapped her colourful wings and the fog dissipated away. Another pond was there, Akash understood that it was the blood of Ancestor Sparrow.
Sparrow walked towards it slowly and Akash followed.
"Did you inherit the Blood Feast skill from Sabertooth?"
Sparrow asked without looking at Akash.
Akash, who was looking at the back of this alluring sparrow replied.
"Yes, but I haven't tried it yet."
Sparrow looked at the colourful pond of her blood, radiating jazzy and zestful lights, emitting joyful sound waves and smelling like a botanical attar.
Akash's primal instincts kicked in as his thirst rose when he saw that pond, his body felt as if he had been starved and dehydrated for years.
Sparrow spoke.
"Jump in and feast on my blood."
Akash looked at the face of Ancestor Sparrow, she looked sad. Akash's heart started to beat faster.
"I wonder why she's feeling sad?"
Akash asked himself as he jumped into the pond.
Akash Tagar swam down, down and down, until he reached the bottom.

Unlike Ancestor Tiger, the blood of Ancestor Sparrow didn't get absorbed on its own. Akash reached out his hands and bared his claws, thinking of 2 words in his mind.
"Blood Feast!"
The colourful blood entered the pores of Akash's body causing him to feel a sudden surge of life.
~8 Months later~
After Akash emptied the entire pond, his skin was nurtured a hundred times, his body gave off a delicate smell. He looked way more handsome than he ever had before, They were the physical effects of Ancestor Sparrow's blood.
Akash jumped out of the pond and knelt in front of the Sparrow, who hadn't budged an inch after Akash went into the pond.
Sparrow looked at Akash and spoke.
"I've always cursed myself."
Akash was startled.
"What do you mean, Ancestor?"
"This all happened because of me, we all lost everything just because everyone was after me. They schemed and used Sabertooth to wage war against my husband over me.
On one side, were me and my husband and on the other side was that disgusting Sabretooth and Red Bone Lion."
Akash recalled that name.
"I apologise for saying this but, Ancestor Tiger, regretted more than you, Ancestor Sparrow. He also told me that he was used and asked me to take revenge on Red Bone Lion for him."
The Sparrow sighed.
"I know but still, I cannot forgive him for ruining everything."
A tear dropped from the eye of Ancestor Sparrow.
"I don't want to die, I wanted to live with my husband more."
The land under Akash's feet trembled, his heart sank in grief. Akash's chest was burning in anger and sadness.
He couldn't bear the pain of Ancestor Sparrow.
He didn't know the reason. Was it because he inherits her blood or maybe because she was a nice soul or because she was otherworldly beautiful.
Sparrow continued.
"Don't spend your life for the sake of revenge, I want you to forgive everyone and live your life in happiness.
Your control over laws will be improved by leaps and bounds, that is the speciality of my blood. There won't be anyone more proficient in-laws than you, from now onwards."
Sparrow threw a fancy, colourful box towards Akash, he caught the box and opened it.
Inside of the oranted box was Ancestor Sparrow's chaos dwelling, a shining colourful core.
"Take this, it is my Rainbow Dwelling gem, eat it and reach new heights of power."
Akash looked at the beautiful gem, then looked at the Sparrow. She started to turn into ash as she took off her Chaos Dwelling.
Tears rained down from Akash's eyes.
"Ancestor, do you really want me to forgive them all, all those who hurt you and took everything away?"
Sparrow smiled and replied.
"Yes."
"What about Red Bone Lion?"
Ancestor Sparrow hesitated when she heard this name. She spoke after a brief silence.
"Ask him if he feels guilty, if he says he regrets what he's done, then spare him, otherwise..."
The Sparrow didn't say anything else and turned into ash.
Akash wailed as he repeated one sentence continuously
"I understand, Ancestor, I understand."
After some time, Akash calmed himself and ate the Chaos Dwelling gem. He felt the flow of law powers inside his body. His body started to glow more, and he felt as if his Chaos Dwelling was filled with beautiful beings. Akash could clearly sense his perception of the laws rising to new heights, acquired from her blood.
Akash eyes, ears and nose started bleeding gold blood. His entire Chaos Dwelling started to shake. He didn't waste time and started to cultivate.
~1 Month later~
Akash successfully absorbed the Rainbow Dwelling of Ancestor Sparrow.
Akash thought something as he stood up.
"It took me 3 months before but now I absorbed it in only 1."
*beep*
[The King has successfully devoured the Chaos Dwelling of the 2nd creator. The King's Chaos Dwelling has expanded multiple times.]
Akash closed his eyes and peeped at his Chaos Dwelling.
He saw that his planet had been expanded over 20 times and the sky was of a golden colour, causing him to gasp in astonishment. Originally, he thought it was impossible for a dwelling to grow to the size of a planet, yet his dwelling had already become 20 bigger than that. He wondered how Daan and others were doing.
Akash wiped his face and saw golden blood on his hands. He was so focused on cultivation that he hadn't noticed his blood pouring out.
He called the System.
"System, is this my blood?"
*beep*
[Yes, The King's blood and the Chaos Dwelling have been changed to a golden colour. Everyone's dwelling has different shapes and colours.]
Akash expressed his understanding.
"I see."
[Since The King has a Chaos Dwelling now, he should choose a name for it.]
Akash raised one of his eyebrows.
"A name… Is it really necessary?"
[Every Primordial Beast has named their Chaos Dwelling. There must be a reason behind it.]
"What reason?"
The system replied with silence.
Akash started to think of a suitable name when, all of a sudden, he heard a name in his mind.
Startled, Akash looked here and there but no one was present. He tried to recall the voice but, astonishingly, he couldn't remember it. All he could recall was the name itself.
*beep*
[The name of the King's Chaos Dwelling shall, henceforth, be All-Devouring Dwelling.]

A Primeval Future
Follow the story of a modern caveman as he learns to survive, thrive, and shape his nascent civilization in a world yet untouched by man. Expect a focus on the nitty-gritty of primitive living, especially early on. I plan for this to eventually progressing to the settlement management and politics stage as people gravitate towards the one guy who looks like he knows what he's doing, but this will likely take some time. Despite the occasional system elements, skilling and levels will not be a part of this story. No shortcuts. There will be violence and there will be sexuality but there will be no sexual violence. I hate reading that crap and I hate writing it even more. This is my first serious foray into writing. I plan to put out at least 1 chapter a week, more when I can. Constructive criticism is very much welcomed as are ideas and suggestions! Cover image credit: "Mesolithic camp site" by Wessex Archaeology is licensed with CC BY-NC 2.0.
