Tamer Of Cosmic Beasts Chapter 11

Akash wiped his tears and went to his room which was now known as the 'King's Chambers'.
As Akash entered, he could see that the room had completely changed. It was bigger and more decorated and everything including the bed had fancy designs. When Akash looked around the room, he saw another door. His heart overflowed with happiness as he checked and realized that it was the lavatory room. Akash checked every nook and cranny.
"It's just one room with a bathroom and yet the System called it the King's Chambers."
Akash sighed and leaned on the bed.
An hour later.
Akash came out of his HQ and noticed that there was a vehicle waiting for him at the door. It was the same man who had picked him up this morning.
"Hello, Master Akash."
"Hello, Mr....."
Akash stopped as he didn't know his name.
The young man understood and replied in a hurry
"It's Mike, call me Mike please."
"Oh, glad to see you again Mike. Where is Haji Tea?"
"The mayor is in his office, he sent me here for you. From now on, I will be your designated chauffeur and this car is a gift for you from the mayor."
Akash smiled and tapped on Mike's shoulder.
"Then we will be friends from now on Mike, take me to the mayor's office."
Mike nodded in respect.
Soon, both arrived at the mayor's office. Akash went in while Mike remained at the car. Akash knocked on the office door.
"Come in."
Haji Tea's voice came from inside.
When Akash Tagar entered, Haji Tea stood up and bowed respectfully.
"My Liege! Why did you knock on the door, you can come indirectly without asking."
"It's alright, Mr. Haji, and no need to bow, the System isn't forcing you to do that. Just hearing 'My Liege' is already too much for me."
"As you wish, My Liege!"
"Mr. Haji, can you provide me with a scroll and a brush? I'll write the 7 Ways of the Death Spear for you/"

Haji Tea was shocked. He had believed that Akash Tagar got that technique from his father who was the head of the Ancestor Organization, but instead he is writing it himself, meaning he understood it completely. The respect and admiration grew in Haji Tea's heart.
"I'll bring it right away!"
Soon, Haji Tea came back with a brush, scroll and some ink.
Akash equipped his golden King's Cloak and sat on the mayor's chair as he began writing it.
Haji Tea looked at the majestic view of his king and equipped his own silver Earl's Cloak. The sudden change in Haji's appearance caught Akash's attention.
"You look younger in this cloak, Haji."
"Haha, thank you, My Liege, you also look marvellous your King's Cloak."
Haji Tea said smiling and responded in kind.
Akash continued writing while Haji Tea stood beside him the whole time. After few hours, the 7 Ways of the Death Spear scroll was completed.
Akash Tagar picked up the scroll and looked at Haji Tea with a seriousness
"Mr. Haji, this technique holds a special place in my life, so you have to take an oath on your cosmetic beasts first."
Haji Tea was startled.
"What kind of oath, My Liege?"
An oath on beasts was not something tamers took lightly. If someone breaks the oath, then all of their beasts will die, so taking an oath on beasts was a severe matter.
"Mr. Haji, you have to take an oath that you will learn this technique wholeheartedly and that you will not give this technique to anyone else, not even your family. The only exception is if you're ever able to find a worthy disciple, that is the only time you can pass down this technique.
You'll have to tell your disciple about the creator of this technique, Daas Mamri, and you'll have to pass it down in the same manner as I am to you before teaching anyone else this martial arts technique.
Haji Tea let out a sigh of relief. He was worried over what the oath would be about, thankfully, he found these conditions reasonable.

"I, Haji Tea, am taking an oath on my beasts that I will never violate the conditions of this oath, if I do, all of my beasts will die!"
As Haji Tea finished, thunderclaps were heard by everyone in Abran. The proved that the oath was successfully taken.
"This technique is yours from now on, Mr. Haji."
"Thank you, My Liege. I won't disappoint you!"
As Haji Tea took the scroll, a surge of happiness overtook his heart.
"Now Mr. Haji, what was the thing you wanted to tell me earlier when I came to your office?"
"Ohh! I forgot about that. My Liege, I wanted to inform you that the 3rd Tier Tournament will start in 7 months."
Haji Tea explained in excitement.
"What does it have to do with me?"
"My Liege, didn't you say that you would help us in making Abran a 2nd tier city? In this tournament, all the 3rd tier cities will send their teams to compete amongst each other and the top 10 teams will be given a chance to challenge any 2nd tier city's team. There will be neutral judges from the government presiding over this event and if any 3rd tier city's team manages to beat a 2nd tier city's team, then the winning city will take over the losing city's tier.
"Oh, I see. So how many teams will there be and who will be my teammates?"
"There are 10,000 cities on our planet divided into 10 provinces, each province has 1000 cities. They're comprised of 740 3rd tier cities, 250 2nd tier cities and 10 1st tier cities. There will be 9 rounds so you'll only have to fight 9 teams, My Liege."
"As for my teammates?"
"Umm... My Liege, you are the only one eligible to fight in our entire city…"
Haji Tea replied while rubbing his head nervously.
"What! Do you want me to die, my dear Earl Haji?"
Akash replied with a gloomy face.
"No, No, My Liege, only those who are at the 5th Star realm and below can join this tournament. You have enough time and given your talent, you should be able to reach the 2nd Star realm before the tournament commences. Not to mention, what could those children possibly do when even I was helpless against you. I have full confidence in your chances of victory, My Liege."
"I see, so there will only be children. I guess I, was worried for nothing."
In truth, Akash could not decline the offer because there was also a quest that required him to upgrade Abran into a 2nd tier city to earn the reward of a Mythic-Grade weapon.
"Thank you, My Liege, I will always be in your debt. You've made our family's dream come true!"
"I'll do my best. It's also my city now and thanks for the amazing car."
"I also got a mobile phone for you, My Liege, as well as newly designed noble uniforms."
"That's too much, Mr. Haji, I can't take it!"
"I insist, My Liege, you gifted me something that's much more valuable. These trinkets pale in comparison yet money is all that I have, so please accept these tokens of my gratitude."
"Alright, I'll take my leave now."
"Let me escort you, My Liege."
"No need, you've assigned Mike to me for a reason, after all."
Akash Tagar and Haji Tea both unequipped their cloaks and came out of the mayor's office. Mike was waiting by the car.
"Alright then, come to the HQ tomorrow for your spear training. I'd like to see your beasts as well."
"I will, My Liege."
Mike was confused to see the mayor of the city calling a kid 'My Liege'. He knew that Akash Tagar was a VIP but for the mayor to call him in such a manner was simply extraordinary.
Akash sat in the car and told the confused Mike to return him to the HQ.
After a while, they arrived at their destination.
