Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 431

"So it really came to this point, huh…" Hallgrim muttered as he saw the airships targeting the Conveyor Spaceships on the ground.
It must be remembered that Wallace already tried the same thing but it was still defended by the aliens for the most part. During that time, it barely did damage to them so the Grand Sage was a bit skeptical about this strategy.
That's right, the tactic they are using now is similar to the one they did before… Aside from that, the dropping of Wallace's floating islands to the spaceships seems to be more devastating than the airships right now!
After all, the size of the Floating Islands that he used before is about 10x the size of an airship!
The Invader Spaceships then quickly acted as they opened their launchers and cannons…
Whoosh! Whoosh!
A barrage of missiles and beams of light welcomed the airships that were crashing down.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
However, these ships made by the Veritas Organization weren't that easy to deal with. The missiles were detonated before getting near to the airship while the beams were deflected by a powerful Mana Shield…
"Haha! So it's not the same thing! You guys have prepared for this! Well done!"
Hallgrim exclaimed after seeing the magnificent defense of the Airships.
Not only did it managed to survive the onslaught of the empire's missile system, it even managed to crash on the spaceship's barrier!
Boom! Boom!
As soon as the airship touched the barrier, it created a series of explosions and mana waves spreading throughout the battlefield!
It was then followed by a group of Lucent Mech Knights attacking the Conveyor Spaceship with their Grade 3 Mana Spells!
A stream of lightning bolts struck the spaceship as the Lucent Force used up their one-time Mana Artifacts to deal extreme damage to the spaceship…

Whatever is inside that thing, they are confident that they have been fried up by their spells…
Clank! Clank! Clank!
As they have gotten near to the Conveyor, they were quickly targeted by the enemy Mech Frames! They were attacked by their Subspace Blaster!
Boom!
About 10 Lucent Knights were unable to dodge in time as they were caught by the powerful alien tech.
Their Mechs were unable to do anything after being caught by the subspace blaster as the pilots died without being able to even scream for help.
This is becoming very disadvantageous to them as time goes on… Most of the Airships are gone, the Mech Knights were also slowly being taken down.
On the other hand, the Automatons are the fastest ones to be destroyed as they are the ones leading the charge against the Imperial Soldiers.
If this continues at this rate, the battle would be decided in a few more minutes.
"Is it not destroyed yet?"
Hallgrim muttered as he looks at the Conveyor Spaceship.
Though it was heavily damaged by the Lucent Knights' Mana Spells, its central part still appears to be perfectly fine…
If Avalon did not consider this as mission accomplished, then they still have to do something about it.
As he was worried about it, he heard another battle behind him. Three powerful Aura covered the whole battlefield catching everyone's attention
"The Terubs are here… Tsk."
Since they do not have Wallace to help them anymore, they have to deal with these powerful aliens through whatever means they could use.
"Avalon… Is there anything I can help to deal with the Terubs?"
Hallgrim asked. Although he was still recovering is mana… He would be able to cast a Grade 5 spell as a Grand Sage once he's ready.

However, he doesn't know what could be the best Mana Spell he could use for this situation.
He has a spell that can give buffs to all their soldiers on the battlefield. He also has a spell to perhaps deal with the damaged Conveyor Spaceships and another spell that could perhaps trap one of the Terubs…
He explained his Grade 5 Spells to Avalon before the A.I. gave its suggestion.
[ Use your Doom Absorption to the Conveyor Spaceship. The spaceship no longer has an Active Defense system and only relying on the surrounding Invader Spaceships to defend itself. The success rate to destroy the spaceship is higher than other possible tasks you've mentioned. ]
Avalon dutifully replied.
Though the A.I. has a massive database about the magicians, most of them are those people who used their VR Pod…
It means that they don't have information about the powerful magicians who had ignored the VR Pod since the A.I. didn't have a chance to scan and monitor them.
So after knowing the three Grade 5 Spells of the Grand Sage, Avalon quickly calculated the best course of action.
As Hayden Fraser and his group were struggling to fight against the Terubs, Hallgrim quickly activated his Doom Absorption as soon as he recovered enough Mana to cast the spell.
The skies suddenly turned dark as the man focused his mana in his gloves, dark energy gathered around it and swirled extremely fast as it created a vacuum-like surrounding…
Apparently, one of his hidden Mana Artifact is his pair of gloves embroidered with golden lines representing the artifact's magic structures.
The Khrusams and the Imperial Soldiers saw him casting due to the effects in the surroundings.
However, none of them had spare time to rush on him and stop his casting…
Because of this, Hallgrim used this opportunity to strengthen the Mana Spell even more!
As soon as he reached the peak of his spell, he used one of his Mana Artifacts again as he arrived near the damaged Conveyor Spaceship… It is a simple Flash Step that allows him to travel to a designated place where he placed his traces of mana before.
"Let's end this… Doom Absorption!"
Hallgrim finally released the spell to destroy the target spaceship…
Boom!
He was caught in the explosion but he expected this. He spent all his Mana to cast that spell so he no longer has the ability to defend himself.
However, as he resigned to his fate, he saw a flying jet coming to him! It then transformed into a beautiful Mech Knight, a design he had never seen before!
Nevertheless, before he was completely covered by the explosion of the spaceship, the transformed Mech Knight managed to grab his body as they escape from the destruction caused by the Grade 5 Mana Spell!
