Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 410

Although Ace remained in the Moon Base, he needed to monitor the planet's status now that Wallace is missing.
Beep…
[ Grand Arcanist Slaine Allusia wanted to speak with Wallace. He hinted that he discovered something inside one of the Conveyor Spaceships that he and his team went into. ]
Avalon made a report.
"Hmm? What happened?" Ace was curious as he checked the logs. He knows that the old man's team managed to heavily damage or perhaps destroy one of the Conveyors, however, he didn't get all details about it as he was also busy with other things.
"So it's like that…"
Apparently, before Slaine was brought to the medical facility, he ordered his men to inform Wallace about something. It seems to be top-secret information that only he should hear about it.
Unfortunately, the old man is still unconscious and he's not aware that Wallace was captured by the aliens.
"How is his condition? Why hasn't he woken up yet?" Ace asked.
[ His condition is no longer life-threatening. However, he spent his life force and was almost killed by the Death Energy of the Khrusams. Doctor Mao from Cloud Hawk Manor confirmed that he's already stable and only needed some rest. It was noted that he'll most likely wake up within 2 or 3 days. ]
"I see… It's good that he's fine. I wonder what he had seen in there. Do you have any idea, Avalon?"
[ No. ] The A.I. replied without any hesitation.
There are too many possibilities that narrowing it down wouldn't be easy. What he discovered could be another species or another Major or perhaps Minor Race hiding inside… Well, he might've also discovered the real faces of the Imperial Soldiers and wanted to share it.
After all, although they are still human, they have mutated a bit due to gene enhancements and he might be thinking that it's another race that is not within the report Avalon gave them.

Of course, Slaine may have also found something incredible inside the spaceship, like their Engine Room, the GH Drive, Cloning Facility, or perhaps, a Space Beast…
'A space beast? Hmm… There's no way they'll place it inside a Conveyor Spaceship. Even if they brought one, it should be in the Flagship…'
Ace mused after considering several things.
However, now that he reached this thought, he couldn't help but be curious about what Slaine had seen inside.
'Ugh… I hope it's not the Space Beasts… It would be a huge trouble if they brought them here. There's a lot of water on this planet which they like to consume. It would be a huge problem.'
There are many types of space beasts or creatures that can be found roaming the galaxy… However, whatever space beast they could be, they all like to consume one thing and that is water.
Even the gigantic space beast who attacked the Space Habitat of the Empire is said to be attracted to their water reserves. Ace remembered what he read about why the space beast went to the Empire's territory.
'Hmm... Anyway, if they can fit inside the Conveyor Spaceship, it shouldn't be a problem.'
Ace thought as he calmed down.
Right now, he would no longer be surprised if the Imperial Army brought all their aces to secure this planet.
The fact that a member of the imperial family is here is already more than enough to prove that they are serious about taking over this place.
"Avalon, let me check the reports made by Miss Chamber's team… Ah, hold on… Escanor, I'll leave the command center to you. I'll take a rest in my room for now."
"Yes, boss!" The man answered followed by the other staff.
Right now, Hilda's team is far away from the Moon Base and he wouldn't be able to help them as well.

The eradication of the Conqueror Starship will be up to them and in case of emergency, they could only rely on their Magic Nodes and Avalon's assistance.
Anyway, Ace wasn't too worried about them since he knows that the starships were still fixing their systems.
Thud!
As soon as he entered his room and closed the door, Avalon showed to him the result of Miss Chamber and her team's study.
[ The Death Energy is the souls of the dead. ]
This is the first sentence written in their reports.
Ace was already quite aware of this considering that the aliens can gain power by using their Corpse Furnace. He knows that these furnaces burn the bodies or corpses to collect the so-called Death Energy.
Then, the Khrusam's unique trait allows them to manipulate it and their third eye's ability amplifies their control over it and creates miraculous powers.
[ The Soul Arts of this word affects the living souls, but the Khrusam's powers affect the souls of the dead. They have similarities in the aspect that they both affect souls but they have different areas of control. Nevertheless, it can be concluded that they can still affect each other. ]
'Amazing… They're only studying them for a day and already learned so much…'
Ace commented as he continued reading.
[ The Death Energy that the Khrusams uses dissipates after not being controlled in about 30 minutes to an hour depending on the strength of the dead soul. However, this Death Energy can stay forever as long as they are using the Corpse Furnace to trap the dead's soul within. Even if they were used several times, the Energy will just return to the Furnace without any problems. ]
[ In the end, we've made several theories on how to interrupt their control of the dead's soul but none of them can be tested yet. ]
[ At this moment, Miya is developing a new Soul Art that can probably help us respond to a Death Energy attack. ]
"Very good… It seems that it's a good decision to let them handle this."
Ace was satisfied with their study. Perhaps, within just a week or two, they'll be able to find out more about the Khrusams and their weakness.
Right now, they can't rely on the Forbidden Soul Art of the late Julian Esmeria. He wanted to take a look at that Art but he, unfortunately, died with the technique not being passed down.
"Avalon… I want to make sure that the allied countries were helping Montego and not exploiting their resources. Secretly investigate the current situation down there."
[ Affirmative. ]
