Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 389

Slaine glanced at the invisible barrier that is stopping them to advance. They needed to quickly do something about it while the alien's Mech Frames and Marauder Gears are still busy with the Steel Knights acting as their diversion.
Right now, instead of focusing on the numerous soldiers that the aliens would send out, Slaine was planning to do something to the spaceships.
Perhaps even successfully destroying one of them is more than enough for him to be happy.
The man then pulled out a staff that he prepared a long time ago…
He poured a quarter of his Mana on this Artifact and activated one of its Mana Spells.
Traceless Oscillation!
The five Sages behind him noticed that Mana Spell as they looked at the Conveyor Spaceship's barrier…
Crack!
They heard a few cracking sounds as the oscillation seems to have affected their shield generator…
Soon, it was followed by several small explosions as the spaceship's barrier collapsed completely…
Finally, Slaine and the rest were have reached the Conveyor Spaceship without anything blocking them… However, they were also detected by the aliens since their actions of destroying the barrier could not be hidden at all…
Even though they have various stealth spells activated, they seem to know their exact location as the Khrusams that are resting outside decided to make a move on them…
"We have to hurry…"
Slaine said as they jump to the Conveyor Spaceship…
Their group of five was suddenly covered by a red ring as they rushed towards the tough armor of the ship…
Boom!
They seem to be planning to forcefully enter the spaceship!
However, the armor seems to be tougher than they expected…
Slaine Allusia noticed the uniqueness of the space alloy as he made his move…
He clenched his fist and focused his energy on his hand…
Lightning Fist!
He smashed the spaceship with his fist as it created a hole enough for them to enter… The man grinned at this result. He had finally found out the extent of the alien's armor technology…
He admits that they have the finest steel technology that he had ever seen, however, his Secret Art has the finest penetrative ability that made him a suitable counter for them… This is an impressive discovery that he needed to share with everyone later on…
Perhaps, his Cloud Hawk Manor will truly grow even stronger from here on.

Thud!
"Ahh! Help!"
Unfortunately, before they could enter the spaceship… One of the Khrusams managed to get closer…
The golden-skinned alien reached his hand inside the red ring they created to protect themselves… The red ring obviously did nothing to stop Khrusam at all!
The alien's large palm grabbed one of the magicians by his head and pulled him out of the protection ring…
His cry for help didn't happen for long as the aliens squeezed him tightly until his head popped off…
The sudden event had happened so fast that the Sages were unable to react…
However, as soon as Slaine realized that their shield is not effective, he quickly used his Thunder Break!
Boom!
The closest Khrusam and the others that were rushing towards their spot were pushed away by the Secret Art…
"You four, reserve your Mana until we reached the target location…"
"Yes, Sir Slaine!"
They answered with conviction as they gritted their teeth… One of them just died so easily… They were even unable to take revenge on his killer at all as they have to continue with their mission.
Luckily, their mission only requires three Sages… Two of them were just reserves in case an accident like that happened.
Nevertheless, the effect of their mission would still be better if five of them had actually survived.
Whom~ Whom~
Slaine erected a couple of barriers around them and activated a haste spell and they moved inside the Conveyor Spaceship…

Meanwhile, the war outside between the alien's Mech Frames and Marauder Gears against the Mage Battalion of Zairus is still ongoing.
"Dodge!" Ross Schien, a pilot of Lucent Force, commanded after detecting that the enemy's Psionic Pulse was targeted on their spot…
His Golden Steel Knight was too eye-catching and perhaps, the aliens have thought that he's the leader of this offensive force.
Boom! Boom!
Not everyone was able to dodge the Psionic Pulse as two Steel Knights were caught within the range… They heard the pilots scream in pain before their bodies exploded inside their cockpit.
Not even seat ejection could save them from such a cruel attack that ignores any defense…
"Avalon… Is there really no way to counter that Psionic Pulse?!"
Ross asked the A.I. with exasperation.
He found the technology too unfair as not even their Mana Shells and various high-grade defense spells were able to stop it…

[ There is. A disturbance of energy at the level of Mana Calamity has a high chance of disrupting the level of their Psionic Pulse. ]
Avalon answered after being asked.
Apparently, all the Steel Knights are required to have devices that will allow them to connect with Avalon. This is to ensure that they are all well-coordinated in this war and of course, could help them with their decision-making.
After all, even if they have received information about the aliens through papers and discussions in their meeting, it doesn't mean that they'll fully understand it…
Avalon's presence can help them remember everything they needed to know in case of emergency…
'Haa~ There's no way to create a Mana Calamity… Perhaps if I have a Sealed Mana Artifact, I can try doing it...'
Ross mused as he controlled his Steel Knight to engage in close combat… This is the only thing they can do for now… They've learned that not even the aliens can defend against their Psionic Pulse without taking any harm.
They found this as an opportunity and confirmed that staying close with them is the best decision they can make. For now, this allows them to avoid getting easily taken out but they know that they can't keep up like this forever…
They either have to destroy them first or learn how to defend against such invisible attacks.
[ Warning: The Blaze's Positron Cannon is about to be used. ]
The A.I. suddenly warned as they provided the details of the line of fire.
The Adept Mages, Steel Knights, and Airships quickly moved away from the line of fire…
Whoozzsh! Whoozzsh!
Apparently, two cannons were used at the same time! It hit a few of the Mech Frames and Marauder Gears that are unable to dodge in time.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Series of explosions occurred as the Mech Frames exploded and created shockwaves…
The Adept Mages on the ground that are controlling the mobile turrets were affected by these shockwaves… They have to erect various barriers to protect themselves from being thrown away…
Then, the positron beam fired by Blaze continued going to one of the Invader Spaceships!
Bam!
They fired a similarly powerful beam of light as it created another shockwave that destroyed the surrounding land…
The battle was so intense that the magicians were unable to tell how long this would last.

Dr. Mao saw Slaine and the Sages he brought with him enter the Conveyor Spaceship… They have lost one of the Sages but knowing Slaine, he knows that it will not go unpunished. He will definitely take an act of revenge for doing that.
Nevertheless, none of them knows what's inside the spaceship so Mao still felt a bit nervous.
The only thing they could think of is that it is similar to the simulations within the Alien Invasion game made by Slaine's apprentice.
'You survived the Northern Continent for a long time, I hope that you can survive this too…'
The mage doctor prayed in his heart as he looked at the war happening in the sky…
The Lucent Knights of their country were impressively capable of flight and battling in the sky seems to be working well with them…
Luckily, they have requested Wallace to enhance their flight capabilities… Aside from that, the Blaze Battleship was also doing extremely well supporting them from the back lines…
The Mech Frames of the aliens were extremely strong with their technology, but their Steel Knights weren't that weak as well.
After observing the situation for a while… He went to the village at the far back of the Stella Region…
It is the Lyra Village where all the injured are being transported.
The Mage Battalion's main task is to fight the Marauder Gears of the aliens… Apparently, after the alien's small flying vehicles are destroyed, the two people manning each of these gear could still fight on the ground and create trouble for the magicians…
He entered the building filled with injured magicians.
Then, he saw a familiar Automaton supervising the hastily made hospital…
"Are you Avalon?"
[ Yes, you can say so, Doctor Mao. How may I help you? ]
"I heard that the magicians managed to defeat a few aliens riding the Marauder Gears… I wanted to inspect them."
[ You can do so after helping at least 20 injured. ]
"So it's a mission now, huh? Of course, I'll help the injured even if you don't tell me… I just want to ensure that I get a chance to check them."
[ Of course. Please treat the ones in critical conditions first. We are lacking medical personnel. ]
"Yes, yes… I will work now…"

The Everlasting. (Completed)
An Everlasting. A title given to those who have reached a state closest to godhood. Be it through might and power or through love and compassion. These beings hold great influence over the realms. This story is about Asura, a young orphaned child, who was taught the way of the blade and has mastered the Warrior Arts at a very young age. Given a recommendation by his master, Asura ventures out to broaden his horizons and to learn magic. Follow Asura’s journey and his quest to reach Everlastinghood. Comment by the author: Looking at the chapter list, you might have noticed Volume 1 is not there. The reason is that it’s in the process of being published so I’m somewhat restricted in where and how I can post it. Edit. 18/04/2017 The first volume is now officially on sale. It is no longer possible to get the first volume for free. I am sorry but it was free for a long time and it was time for it. However if you like to support me you can find th first volume here on Amazon (getBook.at/TheEverlasting) Compared to other stories on Royal Road this one is faster paced. No artificial extensions of the story by spending forever in generic constructs, like random ranking tournaments, that don’t really matter for the overall plot. That’s the plan anyway. Volumes consist roughly of 30-35k words. Additionally: I am not a native speaker, nor have I had any formal education in the English language. I am trying very hard to improve myself. If you want to help me by proofreading my story, shoot me a PM and we’ll see if we can arrange something. Other than my thanks and fake internet points I can’t offer anything, though. Yeah, poor student here… Edit 22/06/2017 Hey the story is officially ended if i ever decide to continue it will be on another date. The ending is open for anyone to use their imagination. Thank you all for the support. I hope we could meet later in the Everlasting II. Respectfully Biako
