Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 379

Most of the people on this planet hope that the alien Empire would decide to send their spaceships one by one…
This is true especially after learning the power of a single spaceship against the group of magicians in the State of Kazan and now at Montego.
No one can deny the fact that they are so strong that they have to bring all of their elite forces to try and stop them...
Even the Grade 5 Mana Spell, known to be the peak of the Magician's ability, was unable to deal a decisive blow against the spaceships…
Perhaps, it would only be effective if it was used against their humanoid machines or smaller machinery.
They were not aware of Wallace's plan to have all of the spaceships descend at the same time so he could easily deal with them using all of his Floating Islands…
"Team, we'll have to quickly deal with this lone Black Sovereign and return to our post…"
Raven announced to everyone…
They've brought their Lucent Knights with them as they know that it will be able to assist the Mage Towers of Montego… So he wanted them to complete their preparation and finish this in a short time.
On the other hand, the Blaze Spaceship also has a powerful cannon and elemental turret they can use…
"Raven, contact Julian for now… We have to know whether they have other plans…" Eagle reminded their leader.
Though they are already in front of the spaceship that is currently receiving bombardment from the remaining Mage Towers and their ground forces, they can't just join their attacks and have to coordinate with their general.
After all, there are cases that casting multiple magic may cause accidents if they got too close with each other… It would cancel their Mana Spell and perhaps affect the other attacks… They can't let that happen right now.
"You're correct. Order our pilots to enter their Knights for now… I will join you after contacting Julian."
"Alright… Try to get as much information as you can… We need to have a good grasp about the Black Sovereign's firepower."
"Mhmm… I understand. Don't worry about it."
Raven contacted Julian as he quickly asked about the things they can help with. At the moment, he can see that the surrounding land is a mess due to the spaceship's missiles and cannons, however, they're unaware whether Julian or the Sages of this country have other plans…

"Finally! Help us pin down the black spaceship… The Mage Battalion can no longer hold on…"
Julian immediately said after they connected… Raven has questions about it but he first decided to signal his men about the plan…
They didn't take long before they started helping the Mage Battalion on the ground… The mid-size battleship had also started activating their ground missiles and petrification caster.
"Julian… What's going on? Why can't you beat this thing yet?"
"Tsk… Just look for yourself… You'll see." The man answered as he ended the conversation. It seems that he's also busy on his side.
Raven just shook his head and headed to his Lucent Knight. He's not someone who would just comfortably sit on his chair and watch everything unfold in his eyes.
He wanted to be together with his fellow Lucent Mages and bring down these Aliens.
A couple of minutes had passed as they have to stop their bombardment of mana spells… Though they have impressive cooling systems, the accumulated heat from casting various spells can overload their Mana Artifacts or overheat their machines.
On the other hand, the spaceship that is on receiving end decided to counterattack at this point!
Perhaps it had also exhausted most of its energy, they have actually decided to send out their Mech!
Raven smirked at this… Although Mana Spells is not effective against the large spaceship with unknown space alloy, they're sure that they'll be able to handle the smaller Mech Frames.
"Alright, Lucent Knights! We'll deal with them! Be careful with your cannons! Don't hit the allies on the ground!"
"Yes, Sir!"
"Oh, right… We have an A.I. to help us with that… Just be mindful of the A.I.'s calculation… Consider it at all times."
"We understand, leader." The other 9 pilots of the Lucent Knights answered… They decided not to launch the Mech Knights they have in case an enemy got closer to Blaze. They will be staying within the battleship to protect in case of emergency.
Clank! Clank! Clank!
Three linear catapults opened on the side of the aliens as they launch 40 Mech Frames to fight against the Mage Battalion, their Steel Knights, and Lucent Knights…
With this move from the enemy, the Mage Tower was unable to cast long-range spells as they might hit their allies…

They have to deal with the Mech Knights themselves…
[ Analyzing… ]
[ Dragon's Warrior Mech Identified. ]
The A.I. installed in the Lucent Knights scanned the Mech Frames of the enemies… It then provided them the details of the Mech…
"Mhmmm…"
Raven noticed the problem with the Warrior Mech… They have a technology called Subspace Blaster and as per their A.I., their Lucent Knight may be able to avoid it but not defend against it…
As for the Mage Battalion on the ground, he could almost see them perishing once the Warrior Mech takes this battle seriously…
On the other hand, the remaining Mage Towers were having a rotation on the bombardment against the Black Sovereign…
They finally realized that they can't put a dent in their armor so they focused on making the Black Sovereign stay on the defensive.
Then, Raven looked at the Steel Knights from Montego…
"Urgh… They look terrible…"
Their humanoid machines look fragile or perhaps, they're junks of metal put together to form a barely functioning Steel Knight…
It does have a rifle or mana artifact that looks like one but it seems that they haven't learned anything from playing the Alien Invasion!
Wallace should've spread a massive amount of knowledge within the game that can be taken as long as you complete a certain mission.
It wasn't that hard to get them and it certainly helped a lot of people… He thought that every nation that had supplies of VR Pods would be able to access this knowledge and improve their current situation.
The man shook his head as he ordered his team to move in the formation… They can't let the Subspace Blaster hit them so they have to be coordinated in this battle.
"We can do this…"
Raven said confidently. Not because they have a reliable ally but because their A.I. and Lucent Knight are built differently from the average Steel Knights of other nations.
***
Bam!
Wallace appeared on one of his floating islands.
He's breathing heavily as he removed the Bio-Armor from his body.
His brief battle against the Imperial Fleet consumed a lot of his Astral Core's Energy… Especially his attack on the Flagship.
He didn't expect that he'll use so much energy for that operation… He wanted to give up halfway when he realized its toughness but decided to push it through to shake the confidence of the Empire and perhaps anger them a bit.
The Imperial Flagship's barrier was tougher than what he expected them to be. He had almost used his Aeon Guardian to complete the task.
Luckily, he had managed to destroy it and still have the strength to descend and use his Void Phase to land.
"Whew… That was crazy…"
Avalon then appeared as a floating metal ball beside Wallace.
"How was it? Do you think that they'll consider descending now?"
[ The Providence and Transcendence are still fighting at the moment. If they can succeed in this operation, the Empire will be more inclined to descend and follow your trail here. ]
"Mhmm… That's good to hear…"
Wallace commented as he seated on a nearby rock to rest for a bit… At this moment, even if they have to sacrifice many magicians, he wanted to trap all of the Imperial Army…
"Avalon, do you have an in-depth analysis of those Empyrean Guard? Aren't they too strong? They're not using any suit to appear in space?!"
[ Negative. They would barely appear and act in a battle so even the Galactic Federation has no information about them. However, there were rumors recorded that a dozen members of the Terub race can fight equally against the Space Creature that attacked the Space Habitat of the Empire before. ]
"Isn't that just an exaggeration?"
[ Unable to answer. I'm lacking information about them, so rumors can't be confirmed whether they're true or not. ]
"Oh, well… We'll just see once they get down here…" Wallace said as he monitored the group of spaceships nearby…
Apparently, they sent out tons of Mech Frames and Marauders Gears to perhaps survey the surroundings… After confirming that there are no threats around, the Conveyor spacecraft decided to send out their builders!
They are the androids tasked to build ground fortresses of the Empire!
It seems that they are truly planning to make this place one of their headquarters!

Up In Space
New chapter every other day Iain Compton never planned to be abducted by an alien spaceship. It just… happened.
