Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 378

Julian Esmeria looked at the Black Sovereign Spaceship and glanced at the ruined six Mage Towers that tried to destroy it…
"How could it be?" The old man asked himself after seeing the disastrous result.
He could no longer contact the controllers of the six Mage Towers.
"Helen, can you contact the controllers?"
The man asked one of the nearest Controllers of a Mage Tower surrounding the spaceship.
"I tried, Sir Julian. No one is responding. But we have to continue attacking! I'm sure that the spaceship has spent most of its energy by now. There's no way that it has unlimited power!"
"Mhmm… Good call! Let's proceed with that plan! Be mindful of their cannons, try to destroy their barrels."
"Yes, sir!"
They all answered in unison and executed their plan.
A few moments ago, the Black Sovereign burst with power destroying the six Mage Towers. It was such a disastrous battle that perhaps a few hundred of their forces died without a single corpse left behind.
Their usage of Grade 5 Mana Spell called Territorial Order pinned the spaceship and received massive damage on its surface after a series of bombardments.
However, the spaceship created a blinding light that removed the effect of the high-grade spell!
It was the start of their struggle to fight against the lone spaceship…
'Tsk… What's going on… Are they also capable of using Magic? No—It must be some kind of advanced technology that Wallace and Veda are talking about.'
Julian grumbled as he recalls the event before their situation turned south… Their Mana Spell was definitely effective for a few seconds… However, they have underestimated Black Sovereign's technology that led to this disaster…
'So, is this is why they only sent a single spaceship on our land?!'
Julian clenched his fist after realizing their situation… It appears that the Aliens thought that this spaceship is already more than enough to deal with them!
It is an insult that he wouldn't let pass!
He quickly contacted the ground forces that are hurrying to their location…
"General Enzo! When will your men arrive here? We need immediate reinforcement!"
The general he called is one of the strongest Sage that is serving the country. Right now, he and his people are hurrying to the Black Sovereign's location using various vehicles, including a few of their loaned Airships.

"What?! You're already unable to hold on? With so many Mage Towers there?"
The man couldn't believe that Julian was really asking for their help… He thought that their job was only to deal with the remnants of the aliens or perhaps ensure that no one would be able to escape from the Mage Towers.
However, it seems that the problem is quite serious considering how Julian sounded so desperate…
"What do you think we can do if your Towers were useless against it!"
General Enzo added as he yelled at the Royal Court Magician. He's not afraid of Julian even though he's being favored by their King.
After all, he knows that he probably has more rallying power than the old man living in his Mage Tower for a long time.
"We just need all of your Mana Spells to be concentrated on the spaceship… It has already endured numerous Grade 4 Spells and they also fired their strongest attacks on our Towers… This spaceship won't last that long!"
"Fine! We are already hurrying… Just hold on!"
General Enzo turned off his communicating device as he ordered his men to pick up their pace.
Though he doesn't like the man, they were still serving the same country and they have to protect it to the best of their ability.
He looked at the airships above and the numerous vehicles carrying the Mage Battalion…
In truth, he knows that their magicians were lacking compared to the countries on the mainland… They were lacking decent equipment or Mana Artifact because most of the budget went to the extremely expensive Mage Towers…
The King of their country wanted to build every island they have with a Mage Tower. He believed that as long as they have them, their country will flourish.
However, Enzo felt that it was too much to spend all of their wealth on these structures. He wanted them to be like Zairus that invested most of their resources into developing Magic Structures, creating innovative Mana Spells, and crafting groundbreaking Mana Artifacts.
He felt that they would only advanced if their magicians would also learn new things instead of relying on ancient Arcane Technology.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
As soon as General Enzo arrived in the vicinity of the battle, he saw the black and menacing spaceship receiving numerous Mana Spells coming from Mage Towers a few kilometers…

Beep!
His communication device suddenly received an update about the war. It came from the headquarters that is handling the communication network of the whole country.
'Eight Mage Tower's has fallen… This is not good. It's too fast…'
The general muttered as he worriedly looked at the spaceship that is enduring the attacks without any problems.
It was also predicted that after 10 or so minutes, another 2 or 3 Mage Tower would fall from the spaceship's incredible firepower that creates a beam of light many times stronger than Wallace's Laser Focus before.
It seems that Julian's desperation in his voice wasn't acting a while ago… If they decided to stop the onslaught of their attack and let this spaceship repair and regain its energy, it would become even more troublesome for them.
They can't let it rest… They have to use penetrative mana spells and at least deal with the people within if the alien's alloy was too tough.
"Everyone! Rain the spaceship with your Mana Spells! We can't let it recover! Its shield is no longer working… We can do this!"
The Magicians left the vehicles as they made a formation to start their attack… It is similar to the 15 airships above them…
Though there is no cannon installed on them, it does have a single elemental turret installed. The turret should be able to help even for a little with this distance.
He then let his vice generals lead the bombardment of spells on the spaceship…
Instead of joining the attack, Enzo decided to open his communication device and called for Julian…
"What's wrong with that thing? Why haven't you destroyed it yet after getting 8 Mage Towers?!"
"We have underestimated them. Enzo… Try not to die… I'm readying for a final attack… We just need to buy some time."
"I know… I'll deal with this…"
The general answered and ended the communication. He knows that Julian is quite busy right now. Whatever the man is planning, he can only leave it to him… If his final attack was still unable to defeat the aliens, then he probably wouldn't be able to do so as well.
***
Raven, a member of the Lucent Knight, was included in the group that was sent to help Montego.
Though he doesn't like this shady country that is hiding the members of the Z-Company, they still have to help them due to the existence of their common enemies, the aliens from outer space.
He and his team are all confident about their abilities… They have a reliable spaceship, powerful Mech Knights, and several 6th Generation Mana Artifacts on their bodies.
If they were still scared even with all of that, then they shouldn't be a member of the Lucent Force.
"Raven, we received another update from Avalon… It appears that Montego is having a hard time… We were told to hurry and save them…"
Eagle, the oldest in the group, reported to Raven…
"I understand. But you have to let everyone know that we are hurrying. Everyone should be ready once we arrived at our destination."
"You're right… Let me inform them. But Raven, are you sure that we have enough power to deal with the aliens' spaceship?"
"We have… Don't worry about it."
Raven smirked for a moment after saying this. They have a secret weapon that they readied so he's not afraid of the current situation.
"The other countries will also send their elites… So we should be able to deal with that one…"
Eagle pondered for a moment before replying.
"I understand now…"
The state of Kazan managed to hold on for a long while, so he felt that they should be capable of doing so as well.
Even though the country or the Seiji Alliance had betrayed and negotiated with the aliens, the Lucent Force do not have plans to copy them at all.
They are here to punish the aliens which made Eagle quite glad…
"Hmm?"
Eagle, the communication officer, received a sudden message from Avalon.
He checked his device and read the message.
Apparently, by the time they arrived in front of the spaceship, Wallace's super A.I. messaged him about plans of the remaining Alien Fleet to descend in the mainland!
"Why now?!"
Eagle couldn't help but get conflicted about their mission…
He can only pray that the Alien Spaceships wouldn't land near Zairus.
