Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 377

The Providence and Transcendence must've received considerable damage after the Flagship's unexpected burst of power…
Luckily, the two spaceships were still able to hold on… It appears that the Mana Artifacts were unaffected by their attacks…
[ Calculating Damage… ]
It was then confirmed by Avalon that only their Primary and Secondary Beam Guns were no longer active…
Even their Positron Cannon is heavily damaged due to that beam of light…
Luckily, the space missiles weren't affected by the attack, but the problem is that they are also unable to use them due to some minor damages to the external tubes or the launchers outside.
At the moment, only a couple of their Enhanced Turrets can be used aside from the Mana Artifacts installed around the spacecraft…
It is not good for their side but at the very least, they still have the Mana Bombs and Petrification Caster with them.
The magicians piloting the spacecraft and controlling the Mana Artifacts were a bit worried about the situation. However, they've already expected this much so they continued with their operations…
"Continue attacking until we spent all of our Mana…"
Ferdie Sigma, the captain of the Transcendence, ordered everyone within the spaceship. He's an elite Mech Knight Pilot but he decided to join the mission since he knows that he has a higher chance of survival.
His Mech Knight that is on standby can use Arcanist Phase for a while… With such a feature, he would be able to escape on time, and perhaps, he can even save his colleagues that are in trouble.
On the other hand, the captain of the Providence at this time was Ray Penber…
He gave similar orders to the adept mages controlling the installed Mana Artifacts.
Though he's being assisted by Avalon to run the spacecraft, he's still the one giving the final command since he knows the limit of the magicians, Mana Arrays, and Mana Artifacts within the spaceship.
Aside from monitoring the enemy, Avalon monitors the spaceship and its other functionalities. Ray Penber would then have to focus on the things related to mana…
"We can hold on… We still have plenty of Mana… Everyone, as soon as we exhausted everything, you to proceed to the final phase… Hurry!"
The magicians hear their captain as they did their best to cast Mana Spells to launch stop the Flagship. The latter is advancing and relying on their closed-in weapons systems to overpower the spells they are throwing…

After all, Magic is just a form of mysterious energy… By detonating bombs, firing missiles, lasers, and cannons, the Flagship is managing to disrupt the formation of mana attacking them!
This is only effective if they are sending this massive amount of projectiles…
They realized that proceeding with the final phase is the best way to end this battle…
A couple more minutes had passed as the two spaceships slowly retreated while the Flagship is chasing them…
Then, they saw the other spaceships trying to encircle them!
"It doesn't matter if we still have mana left! Proceed to the Final Phase! Now!"
"Yes, Sir!"
As soon as their captain gave their command, they can only agree as they also realized that they are not in a good position.
If they continued to defend their position, they wouldn't have a way out sooner or later…
***
Ace watched the battle nervously. He's unable to act right now since the battle going on is on a higher level. Though he also has combat skills, a fight between spaceships is different.
The size of missiles, lasers, cannons, would easily destroy him…
At this time, only Avalon's calculation can help them… The A.I. is definitely helping them control the direction of the spaceship to avoid being surrounded by the enemies…
'Are they going to do it?'
Ace noticed the sudden change of the spaceships' movements… The attacks weakened even though they shouldn't have exhausted their energies yet.
He looked at the battle seriously and hoped that they will be successful.
The decision for the Final Phase would be on the captain of the ship… Ace didn't mind whether they have to do it as long as they will be able to survive this battle. After all, the Spaceships can be constructed again while the Magicians are irreplaceable.
Soon, he saw that all the Thrusters of the two mid-size battleships rushed to the Flagship that is closing in! They were trying to crash on the gigantic Imperial Flagship!
The Flagship doesn't have an activated barrier due to Wallace's attack a while ago and was only relying on their armor and turrets to defend…
However, the size of the two mid-size spaceships couldn't easily be ignored. Even if they have multiple cannons, there was no way they could pulverize them in such a short time!

It means that the Flagship that moved too forward in the formation was in trouble!
There were also no other spaceships nearby that could help them as they were trying to surround these two spaceships…
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The Flagship fired multiple missiles and it successfully hit the spaceships trying to crash on them…
However, the materials used for these spaceships were not simple as well… A hastily fired space missile wouldn't be enough to stop them…
Ace watched the whole scene with bated breath. If they managed to heavily damage the spaceship, it would be a huge success for them!
Bam! Bam!
Two Positron cannons were activated and fired at the side of the two spaceships, it seems that they are trying to at least minimize the damage on their Flagship by changing the direction of the two crashing spaceships.
But it was not enough!
The Spaceships had activated their Radiant Wave to protect them for a moment!
The Providence and Transcendence were also so close to crashing on the Flagship…
Ace wanted to see a huge explosion or something but he suddenly noticed two figures with golden spacesuits on them…
Their surveillance shows that they are from the Khrusam Race! Unlike the Terubs, they are still unable to live in space without having a spacesuit…
Ace then noticed that they brought a huge object with them as they faced the crashing spaceships…
"Avalon, what's that?"
[ Analyzing… ]
[ Finding Match… ]
[ 93% -- Corpse Furnace ]
[ 13% -- GH Drive ]
"Corpse Furnace?!"
He's familiar with the object since this is the Khrusam Race's signature technology.
That is why even though this is the first time he had seen it, he knows that it has incredible power that could turn around the situation…
"The Empyrean Guards… now the Khrusam Race… This is not good…"
Ace muttered… He hopes that there are only two other Major races within their spaceships… After all, the imperial army with mutated or enhanced genes was also a concern to him!
These enhanced humans were definitely capable of matching up against magicians as long as they have their weapons with them…
Their threat isn't any weaker than that two other races.
Whooom~
Ace watched the Corpse Furnace lit up before creating a huge shadow… It was like a black hole eating up the two spaceships that are blocking its way.
5 seconds… 8 seconds… 12 seconds…
After reaching 19 seconds, the two mid-size battleships were nowhere to be seen… The Corpse Furnace had completely obliterated them!
"Impossible…"
Ace wasn't sure how to react to this frightening power. He knows that if that situation happened to him, his only path was to escape.
Those two battleships should even explode once they made a contact on the Flagship… However, they completely failed!
The Khrusams managed to use their mysterious Death Energy by harnessing the Corpse Furnace and completely leave unscathed…
Just how were they able to do it?
It appears that the Corpse Furnace would cause a lot of trouble once they descended to the magician's world…
'Urgh… Good luck to them…'
Ace said in his mind before looking at another screen…
They are the magicians with invisibility magic cast on them.
Perhaps, if they focused their sensors in their direction, the Empire would notice the abnormality created by their magic… However, they just erased the two battleships and there is no longer any visible threat on them.
They seem to have decided that there is no longer an enemy and gathered beside the Imperial Flagship…
Ace sighed in relief after seeing this… Though they lost Providence and Transcendence at the same time, they at least forced them to use their trump card.
Now, Wallace would be able to act once they encountered them on the surface.
A couple of hours had passed and the Imperial Fleet has finally started to move… It seems that they've already repaired the powerful barrier on the Flagship…
[ They are now descending… ]
Avalon suddenly reported which made him look at the screen immediately.
There, he saw the spaceships descend together somewhere in the mainland!
Finally! Only the broken Conqueror Starships remained in outer space! He should be able to deal with them now that Wallace would keep them busy…
"Haa~"
Ace sighed as he looked at the planet that will soon experience larger chaos.
