Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 375

Wallace finally saw the familiar spaceships.
There's one Conqueror Starship similar to the one in his dreams, three Invader Spaceships, and one Conveyor Spacecraft.
On the other hand, the forces of the Seiji Alliance were nowhere in sight.
'Why is it like that? What happened in that meeting?'
The young man couldn't understand why they just left like that after their confrontation…
He took a deep breath before halting the five floating islands in his control.
"Avalon, we'll monitor from here for now."
[ Affirmative. ]
The floating islands weren't just covered by invisibility array but the clouds were also helping them to cover themselves.
Aside from that, the Mana that is covering the whole spaceship
Wallace had a bad feeling about the decision of the Seiji Alliance to completely leave the place after the negotiation.
'No… Perhaps, the empire already received what they wanted? Isn't that too simple?'
The young man was unable to comprehend their decision. Nevertheless, he wanted to ensure that he'll be able to deal a critical blow once he started to act.
The Floating Islands are expendables and he can even just drop them to the spaceships if he wanted. However, if he managed to be successful on the first try and he truly flattened them, then what about the other spaceships above? They would certainly be wary and he may no longer repeat the same tactic.
This is just like what happened in outer space where Ace's ambush wouldn't easily work the second time.
"Avalon, connect me to Ace."
[ Affirmative. ]
The young man doesn't want to be impulsive because his actions here would certainly affect the Empire's succeeding actions against the planet.
Aside from that, he also wanted to see what the Seiji Alliance would do… Were they told to return to their base to get sample magicians to experiment? Perhaps, the empire wanted to have specimens like what Veda wanted?
There's also a chance that Seiji actually returned in order to organize their fleet and conquer the mainland together with the aliens…
If that happens, Wallace wanted to expose them to all the other nations before exterminating them to set an example to those magicians who wanted to betray this planet and ruin it together with these aliens.

Ace was seated at the captain's bridge when he was suddenly notified by Avalon.

[ Wallace wanted to have a private conversation with you using Veda's Terminal. ]
"Mhmm… What's going on? Put him through…"
Ace replied as he relaxed on his seat… They were trying to stealthily dock the Providence to the Moon Base… Aside from that, they are readying their Chronos to be sent out on a mission.
The six of these small-size spaceships were already on standby so once the elite magicians have returned, they can quickly start the mission to survey the place where the Excellence was destroyed, and of course, to destroy the remaining Conqueror Starship they immobilized.
This is why they were currently busy.
[ Ace, we will be inviting the Imperial Flagship. I want you to force them to descend. ]
Wallace's voice was heard from the terminal… This is only an audio link since they are just using the Terminal at the moment.
"Alright, I'm prepared for that…" Ace replied.
His fleet of remaining Mech Knights together with a 10 Small-Size spaceship aside from that, Ace is ready to sacrifice his Transcendence Battleship.
This is the strongest spaceship they have that is meant to protect the Moon Base at all costs…
The Transcendence was made after acquiring a vast amount of Aether from Omen… Its power is definitely not something that could be ignored.
"Just notify me before you send that "invitation" you'll send to the Empire."
[ Of course… You'll have to see it directly… Hehe… ]
Wallace replied with a mysterious smile. They ended their conversation with this as they both have to complete their preparation.
'I'll have to try and destroy their main engines… But this will be a suicide mission.'
Ace thought for a moment… The problem here is that aside from having Aether's power together with the excellent piloting skills of Avalon, they also have to fully utilize their Mana Spells to gain an advantage instead of just fighting on equal footing.
However…
'Who's ready for such a mission?' He asked himself…
"What do you think, Avalon? Who should control the mana spells and artifacts within the spaceship?'
[ You can just ask for a volunteer. I'm sure that there would be some of them willing to do this. Besides, they still have the Nodes with them. It should help them survive for a while even after facing a disaster… That's plenty of time to use escape spells. ]

Avalon gave its idea… Of course, Ace has already thought of asking for a volunteer but he still wanted to find a better solution than this…
In the end, it seems that it is the best option that he has.
"Alright, let settle this once and for all."
Ace said as they continued with their stealthy move and docked that Providence within the Moon Base…
A couple of hours had passed before everything became ready.
He was also notified by Wallace that he will be taking action any moment by now.
***
Wallace stood on one of the floating islands as he spoke with the Terror Mage.
He informed them about the situation and they have finally decided on what to do.
"We will stay here with you, Sir Wallace… We will fight against the aliens!"
"I think that they already brainwashed the alliance's representative…"
"That's right… There's no way that they would side with them like that."
"However, even if they are not brainwashed, the fact that they tried to negotiate with the aliens is already not befitting as a leader of a powerful nation."
"Mhmm… You're right… There's already a lot of soldiers that died on their bombardment... We can't just ignore that."
The Terror Mages were truly honorable soldiers. Perhaps, this is the reason why they were selected as experimental subjects.
"Very well… I will have to move all of you to a different place since this island will become a little messy later on."
Wallace said to the group. He knows that Ace should be getting ready as well so he needed to settle everything on his side. Once he "invited" the Flagship, he may not have the time to move the Terror Mages, so he has to do it now…
He used his Void Phase to carry everyone and put them somewhere away from the spaceship's visibility… They all used various stealth spells to hide their presence as they would have to wait for Wallace's next instructions…
After doing this, the young man made sure that he replenished his Energy… Later on, he would have to do a lot of things to deal with the Empire.
"Avalon, can you help me with my positioning?"
[ Affirmative. ]
Wallace then brought out his suitcase…
It contains his Bio-Armor. It is his combat armor and also a spacesuit that was included in his previous corvette-class spaceship.
He opened the suitcase and let the bio-armor slither and cover his whole body…
Clink… Clink… Clink…
After a few adjustments, Wallace was now ready to start his "invitation."
***
Ace wasn't told about how Wallace would invite the Empire… What he knows is that the man was perhaps about to do something incredible…
All of his Chronos and Transcendence were now manned by both automatons and magicians that have volunteered. At this time, they just have to wait for Wallace to act as the signal.
'I wonder what you'll do this time…' Ace pondered.
As a copy of himself, he somehow knows what the man was thinking in this situation. Nevertheless, he's not aware of the limitation that that body can do so he would surely exceed his expectations.
Finally, the time for them to act has finally arrived.
Ace remained seated on his chair within the command center of the Moon Base… He's monitoring the Imperial Flagship as Wallace wanted him to…
Beep!
Soon, their surveillance detected something coming up from the surface of the planet…
Escanor and the others immediately tried to analyze the object… It doesn't seem to be a missile.
It is a small black projectile heading towards the Empire's Fleet! Just what could it be?!
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Several missiles, lasers, and various machine guns were fired at the approaching object…
However, it wasn't stopping the projectile! It seems to have sentience as it's capable of dodging anything that was fired to it!
Finally, the Empire took it seriously and used its secret technologies…
However, as they were about to fire at it, the projectile stopped moving…
Their sensors and camera have finally captured a high-quality picture of the very small object!
It's actually a person?!
Everyone in the Empire's spaceship must've been surprised by its appearance…
However, they shouldn't be afraid of this kind of showing off.
They have seen several Major Races of the galaxy and all of them have peculiarities.
Nevertheless, Wallace is completely different from them.

Sorcery in Boston
The timid daughter of some of the greatest spellcasters ever to have lived has found herself in another world, courtesy of magic gone awry. In Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1935, she finds some kind souls in a hard era. In the heart of the Great Depression, as war looms around the corner, she seeks to find her place, and must come to terms with both who she is and what she truly desires. Author's Notes: Release Note: I recently realized what the hold up is. My current mental state is not compatible with the planned ending. If I wrote the ending according to what currently feels right, it will be a wretched, cruel ending that feels monstrously unfair and invalidates the work of the various characters... because that's how my life feels at the moment. The planned ending is coming out hollow and awkward, no matter how I write it, and so I've been bashing my head. I will finish it, once I manage to either brute force something decent out, or once my head gets screwed on straight. Audience: This story is not for young children - it contains some profanity, sexual content, violence, gore, and significant adult themes. Most of these are handled delicately enough not to upset teens or adults (hopefully), hence the lack of relevant tags, but it is nonetheless unsuitable for youth. It's fairly slow paced, and focused on the development of very human, very flawed individuals. Length / Completion Estimates: The outline currently involves two books. Book 1 is expected to be done with Chapter 43. It'll probably be completely finished by sometime in March of this year. I expect to move on to the far-more-lighthearted Of Gods and Dungeons (currently in progress / on hiatus). Afterwards, I may decide to redo Book 1, or write Book 2, or actually start sharing the story most dear to me, that I've been working on for several years now. Draft 1: Please be aware that this is first draft material. I do intend to come back to do a second draft after the story is complete. If anyone notices any issues whatsoever with the story, please let me know (pm, etc) so that I can improve the second draft. Writer's Pledge: I've taken the Writer's Pledge, meaning I'm commiting to completing this story. I'm a proud member of WriTE, a group dedicated to finishing stories. It will be done! Behind the Scenes notes: This picture was commissioned from an inked artist by the name of DanP. Up until the time of the protagonist's arrival, history has proceeded as before. Some places and characters have been borrowed from wikipedia entries of interesting figures from the time. I will make note in the chapter comments when such things come up. Naturally, I've taken a great deal of liberty with them. In interest of respecting individuals, I've either attempted to portray them as accurately as possible, or modified them sufficiently enough that they're simply an inspiration, instead of a real portrayal. I've attempted to be as accurate to the era as possible, but I'm not a historian. If you're aware of inaccuracies, please, bring them to my attention so that I can correct them.
