Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 371

The sudden news alarmed the young man… However, he had to proceed with the protocol.
"Inform everyone that should know about this… Montego is an allied nation of Zairus… However, we can't let the country send most of our reserve forces. There are still many spaceships above waiting to descend…"
[ Affirmative. ]
Avalon immediately worked after Wallace gave his command…
Now, he's getting a bit worried since he knows that the Empire's strategy will work really well against them.
For his Satellite-Class weapon, the Super Mesospheric Altitude Gun, he's unable to fire for now since he's planning to do some adjustments with it…
After all, the Conveyor Spaceship that was cleanly hit by this weapon didn't take significant damage at all… It means that their defense is higher than what he had expected.
He can only try to make it stronger as quickly as possible…
"Right, you can also inform the Terror Mages about the Empire's descent at Montego… They might be hoping that other countries would help Kazan if the negotiation fails…"
[ Affirmative. I've sent the Elysiums to inform them. ]
Wallace sighed at this…
Avalon has already created a calculation, or perhaps prediction, about each country of the Zairus Alliance. The A.I. listed the possible result once the Empire decided to attack Zairus, Montego, Maja, and Virgan.
This is because Avalon had managed to get their military information through Yumi's network and other sources.
Montego is an island nation filled with many Mage Towers…
These towers were fortress in themselves and almost indestructible. This is due to the Tower's power to manipulate mana to a larger scale than what the magicians can do…
Aside from that, casting Grade 5 Mana Spells continuously wouldn't be a problem on those peak Mage Towers…
Because of this, Wallace somehow felt that Montego would really give them a good fight.
Anyway, it means that they didn't have to focus most of their military might in that country. As long as they can supply them with their needs to run the Tower, it will be considered as the best help they can provide.
"Mhmm… Avalon, do you think it's safe now to communicate with Ace?"
[ Yes. We will be using Veda's Terminal to communicate in the Moon Base. The adjustments necessary were just completed. ]

"Veda's Terminal? Very well, then. Where's the terminal anyway? I haven't seen it in a while."
Wallace asked. He can still remember the first time they encountered Veda… He was almost attacked by that A.I. because of his body that lacks connection with the Galactic Federation… Luckily he managed to work things out by quickly explaining his situation to it.
He couldn't help but smile after recalling it. Perhaps, even if Veda would try to execute him now, he would no longer be afraid of it.
[ It is still in the main factory at Mount Ravencroft. ] Avalon answered.
"I see… So you'll just connect to it. Very well, I need to inform Ace about my plan to force these aliens to descend quickly instead of doing this one by one…"
The young man then gave detailed instructions about the way they'll deal with the situation.
After this, he had to wait for Ace to get ready… The preparation might take some time but it's better than doing nothing at all.
At this rate, the Empire would be able to dominate the fight and he can't let that happen.

Manexis marveled at the futuristic place in front of him.
The rooms, the hallway, the full-body armors of their guards, and many others seem to be quite new to him.
What he's seeing isn't just some luxury items but standard things for the alien race.
Aside from this, it appears that the aliens are fond of fresh air. This way, everyone can breathe calmly.
'Just how long are we going to walk?'
Manexis smiled wrily. However, he knows that he should already be thanking them for the treatment they received. After all, they were not being attacked and haven't seen anyone show hostility towards them.
It appears that negotiation was still possible.
Time passed and the golden-skinned race brought them to a meeting.
Finally, they will be able to start negotiating…
The room they entered now doesn't have any decoration aside from the long table and chairs that were placed.
However, the other golden-skinned aliens that he was expecting weren't present. In place of them were full-body armored aliens and some were even pure machines… He can easily recognize this as he practices the Spirit Arts as well.
"What do we do now?"

He asked. He wanted to know whether they should start speaking with them right now.
Thud!
Instead of answering, the two aliens just left the room and shut the door!
'Hmm… They're not included in this meeting… Are you telling me that they're just frontline soldiers?'
Clink! Clink! Clink!
As soon as the doors were closed, Manexis and the others noticed that the humanoid machines similar to automatons started moving.
Then, a neutral voice was suddenly heard.
"Hello, natives of this planet. I'm Raku, the commander of this Spaceship. Forgive me if I can't appear in front of you, but I want to let you know that I heard about your plans to cooperate with us. I'm glad to hear that. Someday, you might be named as the savior of this planet."
Raku said through the android.
Due to the neutral voice, Manexis felt that he's just faking it. Nevertheless, he didn't point this out and waited for him to hear more about their thoughts.
For sure, the Empire will request a lot of things from the top magicians of the country..
However, accepting their offer might be seen as losing to the natives… So Seiji is willing to give a lot of things to avoid offending them.
***
Ace just received the news from Wallace…
Luckily, they have one of Veda's terminal here in outer space so there was no longer any problems…
But as soon as he read the news, he was completely shocked.
"What? Seiji is planning to join the empire? How absurd… That's stupid…" Ace frowned after reading the report.
[ There is about 8.50% chance that they'll succeed. ] Avalon replied.
Although the four countries haven't established their alliance with the Empire yet, Ace felt angry about their plans…
This is clearly mocking their hard work and their sacrifice to keep them away from the planet.
Of course, the young man also received various updates about the jobs that were left behind on the surface. It included the concern about the Lucent Knights and many others.
Finally, there was a battle report that was included. This is when the Terror Magicians fought…
"Khrusam Race?! They're involved with this?"
If that creepy foreign being were included in their spaceships, then does it mean that the other races were also present?
He can't ignore that thought… They had to be very careful about this. They should create countermeasures in case the other races would also appear.
As soon as he confirmed everything including the plans to send down the spaceships, he immediately made his preparation and informed everyone…
"Avalon, make the adjustments to the Satellite weapon according to this detail.
[ Affirmative. ]
He's unsure whether their plan would work but it's worth a try.

Going back to Wallace, he's still waiting for the Grand Sage's entourage to come out of the Conqueror Starship… If not, the remaining army of Seiji would most likely go to war to take them back.
However, more than half an hour had already passed and there were still no signs of them.
"What's going on now… Did they actually succeed?"
[ There is a high chance. However, they would just be used by the Empire. ]
Avalon replied… He knows this fully well. However, if they succeeded…
"It will be considered a betrayal… I'll act on them as a sample…"
Wallace muttered softly. It seems that he would have to show his prowess as an elite Magician.
That's right, if they truly allied themselves, then there would be no point in keeping them alive at this point. They'll just become the Empire's source of knowledge and he didn't want that to happen.
After all, he wanted them to struggle to look for such information. They shouldn't be getting it just because it is being given by these magicians who lack honor.
Whom~
The barrier of the Conqueror Starship suddenly opened as the Grand Sage's group has finally gotten outside…
They still look the same and they didn't seem to have encountered any trouble. Their robes were still clean and sparkly like the others.
Wallace squinted his eyes after seeing them. They are accompanied by the members of the Khrusam Race and three more androids.
"Sigh~ So they were actually successful…"
[ Yes. Traces of happiness can be found on their faces. ]
This means that Wallace has to act against them.
'Should I give them a chance? Wait, I should just ask them directly…'
The young man thought… This would be very easy for him with his Void Phase.
