Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 369

Ace assembled a group of smaller spaceships…
Unlike the 360-meter long Excellence, these spaceships were only around 200 meters in length…
It couldn't carry a lot of things as it focuses on mobility or fast-paced missions.
He looked at the six black spaceships… These ones were made here in the moon base and they don't look like any other models of spacecraft as they were designed assuming that only Magicians were capable of using them.
It was shaped like a rocket with four wings but there are no visible boosters or thrusters since it operates purely on mana stones… There's not even an option for other sources of energy like the aether force, nuclear energy, and electricity…
"Avalon, do we have enough personnel?"
[ No. Unless Providence managed to dock, we won't have enough personnel for the six Chronos. ]
Apparently, all the elite magicians were out of the moon base. Though there are still capable magicians here, they might not be good enough if they wanted to destroy the five Conqueror Starship left behind.
They have already suffered casualties so they can't just send anyone in this mission unless they're confident to complete it…
On the other hand, Chronos is the name they've given to this new type of small-size spaceship. The incredible thing about this is because a single Magician can operate this flawlessly as they've added a Mana Artifact that enhances their brain, it is similar to the 4th-Gen's Brain Boost but can also be compared to the QBCS that Ace is familiar with…
It means that they wouldn't lose out even if they compete in a spaceship controlled by Avalon…
'Mhmm… Since we're good here, we just have to force the Flagship to descent… Wallace, what are you doing down there? What's taking you so long?'
At the moment, they limited their communication to Earth since the Imperial Fleet might detect the frequency they are using and locate their Moon Base hiding somewhere in the moon…
After all, the distance between the two places was still quite far and requires strong energy to send or receive communication here.
Aside from that, there are also no other satellites or space stations orbiting the planet to relay information to the surface… Everything is coming in and out of the Moon Base's central command.

Zephon looked at the golden airship above them as they marched towards the Aliens…
The airship carries the VIPs of the allied countries and a few Grand Sages and Grand Arcanists were also stationed there creating a powerful flying fortress…
He could also stay in that airship if he wanted to but he's not used to it…
He wanted to be as close as possible on the ground so he could feel safer that way… Apparently, most of the Mana Spells he mastered were related to Earth Spells and Haste Spells that still require touching the surface of the ground.
Though he can get an Artifact with Flying Spell, it would be too much for him who could only control two Mana Artifacts at the same time.
Time has passed and they soon saw the figure of the spaceships that landed near an active volcano…
It was still quite far but they can already smell the burnt ground that the aliens did use their mightly cannons or technology… Their firepower was more than enough to clear the place and wipe out the first soldiers they sent to intercept them…
Zephon look at the soldiers behind him and noticed that none of them were hesitating as they moved forward filled with energy…
He can feel the Mana leaking on their bodies and with the number of the magicians behind him, the surrounding air is turning chaotic…
It doesn't matter whether they are aliens or not, they must've realized their presence with such power emanating through their bodies…
The general raised his hand to signal the stop of the march…
Thud!
They all stopped as soon as the frontline stopped moving… Then, they made a way for the vehicles that are carrying the King Turrets…
These weapons were scattered throughout the lines of soldiers… Some were in front, in the middle, and on the back lines.
They made sure to cover all the magicians and soldiers by the barrier it could create…
Zephon looked at the Spaceships and noticed that they weren't even preparing their cannons or sending out those humanoid machines to intercept them…
It was like they weren't showing any threat in front of these galactic species…
Clang! Clang! Clang!
A bell rang from the golden airship indicating the start of their operation…

Everyone started moving forward at a slow pace… It is completely different from how a siege would normally proceed.
However, this is all according to plan…
Whom~
The King Turret's Barrier Field activated…
The Barrier wasn't really meant to defend against large-scale bombardment but to be used as a buffer for the Magicians…
The King Turret's main purpose of existence is quite obvious, which is to launch an attack on its targets…
Clang! Clang!
Finally, another bell rang with a different frequency…
It is the signal to attack the Spaceships!
A huge amount of mana started gathering… The cannons from the airship, the elemental spells of the King Turret, the Grand Sage's Grade 5 Mana Spell, and the Grand Arcanist's powerful Magic Array…
They were all about to be launched on the aliens that were still not responding…
Fire!
As soon as the signal was made, all the spells were released…
Boom! Boom! Boom!
A series of explosions that lasted for more than five minutes occurred…
Zephon watched everything and as he expected, most of the spells didn't land on the spaceship and targeted the land they were in.
Even if spells are being thrown on the spaceship, it wouldn't even last for a couple of seconds before disintegrating to air.
Its barrier is quite scary.
The spaceships weren't damaged and their barriers were still activated without any issues…
'Is this the Energy Force Field that Veda reported to us? This is much stronger from what he had described…'
Zephon frowned but he needs to continue the plan for this siege… However, as he was about to lead the charge of his army, he was suddenly covered by a huge shadow.
He looked up in the sky and noticed that the Golden Airship started moving forward. This is not according to the plan at all.
He held his orders and waited for the Council's plan…
The three thousand combat magicians and adepts behind him were all waiting for his order to charge, but he can only disappoint them for now…
He then looked at the Golden Airship land not too far from the alien's spaceship…
'Will this really work? Is that enough to show the power of our country? Wouldn't they belittle us if we decided to negotiate now?'
Zephon has many questions about the hasty decisions of these old men but had to keep it for himself…
He can only hope that this would go according to their plans and not waste their lives…

Wallace had a conflicted face after seeing Seiji's move…
He's quite impressed by all the Mana Spells thrown since he felt that Zairus would certainly have a huge problem if they were attacked by such an army…
Aside from this, he also felt that the mobile turret that they brought was a good move on their side… It boosted their firepower and guaranteed that they wouldn't lose out in terms of bombardment…
The only problem is that they're not serious about hitting the Spaceships and decided to make it as their warning…
This is not a good idea since the Empire already learned the capacity and power of each of their weapons…
Then, Wallace looked at the Golden Airship that moved forward, the deck has twelve people in total and four of them look very important with their luxurious clothing, and the remaining eight appear to be the strongest Sages protecting the VIPs.
As Wallace wanted Avalon to confirm their identity, he noticed that the Conqueror Starship had actually removed their barrier!
It means that they would most like hear what these natives have to say…
Perhaps, if he didn't interrupt their invasion and created a force to fight in outer space, the Imperial Army would surely ignore these people…
However, due to various circumstances, they were probably curious about the existence of the spaceships around and the magic they are using…
After all, they should've realized by now that the spells that the natives are using are similar to what their spaceships and Mech Knights can do in a battle.
If Wallace is the one commanding the spaceship, he would surely be interested in learning the secrets of the natives as well…
'But I'll definitely send someone who is not afraid of facing the natives…'
Thud!
A couple of figures suddenly appeared in front of the Conqueror Starship… As if they heard Wallace, two members of the Khrusam race were sent out to greet them.
Now, the fate of the Seijii Alliance is about to be decided…

Valley City. Up until around twenty years ago, it had been a nowhere place. Just a bunch of towns with no real reputation. Now, though, it's known for its progression in medical science. The Medical Technologies Company. It seemed to suddenly appear out of nowhere in the middle of what's now called City Center. Once just a manufacturer and developer of medical equipment, it eventually started to dabble in medical research. Before anyone even knew it, they were the leading research entities, with five seperate buildings in Valley City alone, all towering above everything else in the area. Some say they even swayed the local government into combining the old towns into one city and popularized prosthetic limbs as fashion themselves, but that's just gossip. Matthew Vega. A 25-year-old college dropout, tricked by MediTech into being experimented on under the pretense of participating in a clinical trial for rent money. After being broken out of their facility nearly a year after having her limbs replaced, then having her liberator captured, she seeks a way to dismantle the company or save the one she cares about. NOTE: Currently I am working on a rewrite. I will post a new chapter once that is ready, listed as V2CH-001. I hope you look forward to it.
