Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 363

The appearance of the figure that saved them from the certain death was very mystical…
Akhsar and the remaining Terror Mages were unable to sense his presence until he released his energy in their midst.
They didn't sense any activation sequence of a Mana Artifact at all! It means the magic used by the figure was most likely his pure control of mana…
If his control is already at this level, then the one in front of them was perhaps a Grand Sage or Grand Arcanist that they've heard about…
Then, they heard the man utter some words while he was dealing with the Mech Frames and Marauder Gears around them.
"Gather… Hold each other's hands, we will be leaving here… We can't fight them like this…"
If a person equal to Grand Sage said that, then he must be right… Anyway, it's not like Veda wanted them to die here as well…
Akhsar immediately signaled everyone as they gathered together and held each other's arms…
Boom! Boom!
Several explosions occurred as the Mech Frames reached their limits… They also noticed that the Golden-Skinned Humans were trying to do a ritual again and the Conqueror Starship is also readying their cannons!
It seems that they really have to leave at this moment.
Thud!
The figure appeared in front of them as they finally recognized this person… Their faces immediately lit up as they recognized him as one of Veda's accomplices…
It seems that the mysterious being still cares about their group and sent someone to rescue them.
Then, they saw the man touched one of the Terror Mage as their vision suddenly blurred…
They closed their eyes as an instinct and before they even opened their eyes, they already realized that they are in a different place…
The cold breeze together with the warm sunlight and the smell of grass… This is completely different from the battlefield they were just in…
"Where are we?"
Akhsar asked after looking around… The other Terror Mages were similarly confused as they looked around…
Thud! Thud!
The man who brought them here stepped forward and explained…
"We are at one of my Floating Islands. You are all safe here at the moment… Later on, we will be continuing our battle against the aliens… This time, I would like to give you some other equipment… I know that your Ancient Abyssal Armors and Artifact are already good. However, you can get stronger by using some of mine as well…"

Wallace said as he smiled at the group of Terror Mages. He didn't want to elaborate about the new items since they were just additional weapons and would be explained further by Avalon…
Before he used his Wide-Scale Void Phase, he was actually planning to catch one of the Khrusam's mysterious attacks to gauge their power…
However, after he crumpled the Mech Frames using his Astral Energy, he realized that the five Khrusam acted like they are also about to take him with them…
He suddenly felt that he's being pulled to them using some kind of gravitational force… This is why he hastily activated the Void Phase as he may not have time to save the Terror Mages if he decided to try fighting the alien race.
In the meantime, Wallace decided to ask some questions to these Magicians…
Before today, he thought that Veda is only working at the Cryptic Link Serum Project to create many Adept Mages in the country.
However, the super A.I. actually extended its power in every country to create its own weapons against the Empire…
Of course, Wallace's wasn't mad at it for hiding its project… After all, he and Ace didn't really ask Veda about it…
"Aside from being capable of wielding multiple Mana Artifact, what kind of changes were made in your body?"
He wanted to ask the magicians instead of getting just a report from Veda… After all, he wanted to compare how different they are from his perspective as someone with an Astral Core…
Akhsar, the leader of the group, stared at Wallace… He seemed to be hesitating to answer but after making considerations, he answered…
"Most of them are physical enhancements. We are meant to be capable of fighting in close quarters against the alien race. We were told by Veda that the opponents within the spaceships would perhaps have an advantage when it comes to the enhancement of their genes, however, our advantage is our ability to manipulate mana…"
"I see, you're tasked is supposed to enter the spaceship? Is that right?"
"Correct… The Airships we have and the Flying Mage Battalion should hold the Mech Frames while we are finding ways to enter the spaceship. We are even prepared to make a hole in it if necessary using our Abyssal Glass… However…"

"I didn't go as planned…"
Wallace continued… He already saw what happened as the Empire's spaceship brutally destroyed the beautiful land of their country.
However, this allowed them to gauge the strength of the spaceships… The record of the battle that has occurred would be distributed to every leader of the country.
This would give them an idea about the power of the aliens and perhaps come up with a countermeasure.
It may not be unlikely that they could find an effective way to defend against it, but at the very least, they wouldn't be clueless about the things that each spaceship can do.
"Very well… Rest up… The war isn't over yet. Our next assault with these floating islands would be the deciding factor…"
Wallace said as he left them for now…
He glanced at the mainland that couldn't be seen by now as he recalled the Celestial Being who came here to the southern continent with him.
The Celestial Being is currently hiding somewhere comfortable and wouldn't join the fight unless he fulfilled some of its conditions. One of them is to find someone stronger than him in a battle and the other one is to bring him to outer space…
Wallace actually thought that there should no longer be a problem to send the Celestial to outer space. After all, the Planetary Wide Shield that Prince Zaimphail made no longer has any purpose since the Empire is already here…
It has already thinned out that it could no longer block the traces of the magical planet…
"Well, should I ask it to destroy that one Black Sovereign?"
Wallace is referring to the spaceship that has a huge chance of possessing another Cube of Paradox.
He was unable to destroy it at the last time because the Imperial Flagship and the others managed to get out of their restrictive Mana Spells.
'No, I should wait for Ace's strategy…'
Since the Imperial Flagship is currently orbiting their planet, it is still technically under Ace's jurisdiction… And as he knows himself well, he wouldn't let this opportunity pass without trying to mess with them even once.
For now, what he should worry about is the spaceships here…
"Avalon, I think that they should know about the existence of other alien races aside from Arians. Release the information about the Khrusam Race."
[ To the public or the leaders? ]
"Mhmmm… Give it to the council of war in each country. Let them decide what to do with it."
[ Affirmative. ]

Lacus is currently practicing the modifications that Wallace made on their Secret Art: AOTL…
She's not sure whether she'll use it against the Aliens but learning something new makes her feel better.
After all, she felt that her power became stagnant…
She was no longer improving and her talent as an Arcane Artificer had also reached a bottleneck…
Aside from imbuing Electricity on her Magic Structures and have her Mana Spells contain them, she wouldn't have anything new from her 6th Generation Mana Artifact.
This was when Wallace informed her that their most powerful technique can be improved again. He even mentioned that Slaine Allusia, the Grand Arcanist, and their master, was also mastering this technique for a while now…
After hearing that, who wouldn't be interested in it?
She's clearly aware of the strength of the Esteemed Grand Arcanist and it would be a great honor for her if they are actually both doing their best to learn it…
It just motivated her and made her keep practicing…
"Young Miss, we received a report about the current situation of the State of Kazan…"
Clyne Troyard, the butler and manager of the Cloud Hawk manor, reported to the first apprentice.
"What happened? Are they successful?"
"No, young miss… It appears that millions of lives have been sacrificed for us to learn their unimaginable power."
Clyne then relayed the information to Lacus as the latter became lost in thought.
"Khrusam Race… How terrifying…"
Lacus muttered after reading the information that Wallace distributed… It contains the power of the said alien race and they seem to be very powerful and uses unique power comparable to some of their Mana Spells.
However, the man at least provided them the weakness of the Khrusam Race, their third eye… Though it is still questionable whether they can actually attack it…

The Emperor's Chef
"Cook like your life depends on it, kid. Because it does." Charles had an enviable future lined up for him. Training from the age of five by some of the finest chefs in the world. Schooling at a top culinary academy in the capital. An honorable position as heir to House Boulier, a line of merchant-lords who have charmed the rich and powerful with their cooking for centuries. And in a single night, it all burned to ash. When the outbreak of war destroys his hometown, Charles is charged with escorting his family’s sacred treasure—a recipe book passed down for untold generations—out of harm's way. But his simple mission grows complicated when he’s captured by one of the most feared battalions in the world: the Spears of Mercy. Life as a prisoner in their war camp is brutal and uncertain. Charles has few allies and even fewer strengths to rely on. Only his skills in the culinary arts, honed over a lifetime in the kitchen, are deemed useful enough to keep him alive another day. But he’s not out of hope just yet. With a dash of wit, a pinch of luck, and some very creative cooking, he might just find a way to recover his family’s legacy and take back his freedom. This project is a food-themed fantasy that centers on cooking and chefs. The setting spans a wide world featuring ingredients/recipes both real and inspired by traditional fantasy. I'll eventually be publishing it as a full-length novel (or series of novels depending on length). These are the first draft chapters. I'll likely be re-writing more than once, then editing before publishing, so impressions and feedback are quite welcome. If you like the story so far and you're interested in being an early reviewer for the final product, feel free to message me. I'm looking for an artist to make some concept art and a cover (the cover shown here is just a temporary placeholder). A stand-alone novel for now, but it may turn into a series down the road.

Bored, I browsed my spam folder. I clicked on some interesting spam, summoning me to another world. All I have is this dagger: [Dagger] Broad leaf blade made by a dwarf blacksmith while drinking. Hilt slapped on by an elf high on shrooms. The handle is pleasantly smooth, which makes for a terrible gripping experience. Upgradeable, if you upgrade it. Has a chance of killing something if you stab said something in the right place. Fully editable Google Doc for the whole story.
