Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 356

Wallace noticed that the Empire's fleet wasn't considering to descend yet…
Of course, there are many reasons why they are waiting up there but they were most likely using their long-range scanners to see the situation below.
Aside from that, the disappearance of the Excellence and the other Mech Knights may also be one of their concerns before descending…
After all, their spaceships would be vulnerable to attacks once they started entering the planet's atmosphere.
'Well, just stay there as much as you want…'
The Mt. Ravencroft has Super Mesospheric Altitude Gun that could hit the Spaceships in outer space. So once they tried descending on their land, it would be the first one to welcome them… They wouldn't be able to avoid that in their situation.
The gun that they have is also called a Sattelite-Class Cannon to identify the level of the weapon they have.
In total, they have made four Sattelite-Class weapons. One is here at the Mt. Ravencroft, another one is in the Moon Base, and the last two are with the Providence and Excellence. Since the latter was already destroyed, they only have three of these remaining.
Beep!
[ A person from the government wishes to speak with you. He identified himself as Hayden Fraser. ]
'It's about time.'
"Go ahead. I'll speak to him… or does he want to meet me?"
[ No. ]
"Alright then…"
[ Connecting… ]
The monitor in from of him showed Hayden's face. The old man greeted him and introduced himself…
"I heard a lot about you, Sir Hayden… Everyone in this country or perhaps in the continent knows you…"
As an Enneadic Magician, he's a very impressive practitioner around the world… After all, Magicians could hardly control three Mana Artifacts at the same time. However, this man can control nine of them without having issues…
He heard about him first while he was still studying and his name would always come up in their lessons. His influence on the world of magicians is definitely higher than Charles Mavis, or any Grand Arcanist in the world.
"I'm flattered, Sir Wallace, I heard about your situation from Yumi. However, it's good to see that you're really fine..."
"Thank you for your concern… May I know the reason for your sudden decision to reach me?"

"Yes, of course… Our government created a new council to respond against the Aliens… I was appointed as the leader and I know that you've already instructed Yumi about the things you want to share with us, I would like to coordinate our actions with yours."
Hayden explained… The matter about the Empire's descent concerns even the top magicians of this country. None of them could say that they could defeat the aliens… Not even the Grand Arcanists and Grand Sages…
Wallace smiled after hearing this. Although they are very late, it is still better than not communicating with him at all. He thought that he would just have to use Yumi as his middle man forever.
"That's good to hear… I'll cooperate."
If they still ignore the threat with all the pieces of evidence that Wallace has provided, there would be no hope in this country.
"Right, before we discuss our plans, do you have information about the plans of the other countries?"
Wallace inquired and Hayden doesn't seem to be too surprised about that.
"They are all doing well… I heard that the mysterious being behind Veda was helping them to cope up."
'Mysterious being? He probably meant Veda... Are they still not aware that Veda is Artificial Intelligence?'
Wallace shook his head as it is not important to think about that now.
Then, the old man continued sharing his knowledge about the preparations of the country.
Apparently, each country has different actions about the imminent danger approaching their world. Their allocations of budget and military, it completely different…
The Republic of Maja was still doing the same thing, they still spent most of their budget on their top-class Automatons. As a matter of fact, their soldiers can now take 5 automatons with them to fight together.
They have also become even stronger especially after getting the secrets of other countries thanks to Veda's help. There was also a leak about the Float Drive System that allowed their automatons to become even stronger and perhaps something that could rival an Adept Mage already.
There are also signs that they've started developing large-scale cannons to fight against flying aircraft…
The island country of Montego was still depending on their Mage Towers and as a matter of fact, they increased their number by 50% after they spread the information about the aliens. Their most powerful asset, Royal Court Magician Julian Esmeria, even created the tallest Mage Tower that was said to be capable of protecting its 100-kilometer radius.

It is an extremely impressive tower and must've taken the country's fortune by a huge chunk. Perhaps, if the Empire's fleet decided to land there instead, the country would give them a good fight.
Wallace knows that a Mage Tower isn't just a normal building but a place with concentrated Magic Structures and Spells. They are definitely something different as every single stone used to build the tower can be considered as a mana artifact.
Of course, the other countries were also doing preparations and have increased their defenses, and innovations of their engineers were also being revealed…
Apparently, Seiji, perhaps the strongest nation on the continent has actually created an air fleet.
It was finally revealed that the Zairus wasn't the first one to create an airship…
Seiji, a non-allied country, has a total of 300 airships that could accommodate a hundred Magicians in each of them.
If not for their massive preparation for the war against the aliens… The allied nations of Zairus, Montego, Maja, and Virgan would be unaware of their power…
The nations of Guwain, Kazan, Utara, and Seiji have truly hidden their strength very well…
"Are there any talks about possible cooperations between the eight countries?"
Wallace wasn't hoping much when he asked this but he wanted to know their stand about this idea.
"Haa~ There are delegations sent but up until now, there are no conclusive discussions made. After all, there should be a leader in such union and none of them wanted the other to take the lead. There are also disputes about the borders and many other things. You should be aware of the history of Guwain…"
Wallace smiled wryly at this. He already expected this much but he still felt disappointed that the countries weren't together in this battle.
Once they realized that they have to cooperate, it would already be too late.
They would perhaps start regretting the peace talks and requests for cooperation that they've ignored…
"I wonder how long they would last…"
Wallace muttered softly after thinking about it. He's not that worried about his country since his base is located here but the others would surely suffer heavy casualties…
"Very well… Let's discuss the main topic…" The young and the old magicians finally started coordinating their plans against the alien's descent.
***
Aaron heard the news about Space Fleet's situation.
They have successfully diminished a huge chunk of the Empire's Fleet.
"What about Wallace?" Aaron asked Raven. They just finished installing 6th Gen Mana Artifacts on their huge Golden Mech Knight.
"I heard that he safely arrived at the Moon Base… If you're referring to the other, he should be preparing for war as well. I bet that he's even planning to hit the enemies before they descended here…"
"Mhmm… That's not a bad idea. We are too focused on the idea of waiting for them to land here."
Aaron replied. They are now about to go outside of the Lucent Force's underground base and about to meet the pilots of the Lucent Knights that they've ordered from the Traceless Hand's Factory.
Raven nodded at Aaron's reply but he has another idea.
"I think that it's normal, young master. We don't have advanced technology to monitor our space. We are unlike Wallace who can create almost anything in his mind. So we should just focus on what our forces can do and be the best at it…"
Aaron wasn't disappointed hearing this and even smiled at the guy…
"You're right… We have to be the best on what we are special…"
They are now in front of 10 Lucent Knights… This is not all of their units but these 10 would be tasked to accompany their large golden Knight.
"How are the pilots?"
"They have trained within the virtual world that was given to us by Wallace's secretary…"
"You mean Avalon?"
"Correct…"
The virtual world is such a convenient technology that could simulate the real world… Aaron is thankful for such creation and hoped that he could see it evolve even more someday…
Beep!
Aaron noticed that there is a message on his device. It is an update about the situation of the invasion…
[ One Conqueror Starship, Three Invader Spaceship, and One Conveyor Spacecraft have started descending. Their target is Kazan, the island country in the east. They are expected to land within a few minutes. ]

Shrike
He wants to play the latest and greatest VRMMORPG game, but he can't muster up the cash for the fancy new proprietary hardware and membership license. After months of saving up cash and arduous work, he has built a behemoth of a machine relying almost entirely on seedy old technology and a DIY guide by some dude named "Jimmy Bob." This is the story of his entry into the game. This is also a story of intrigue, exploration, introspection, batshit crazy game design, and unintended but entirely predictable consequences. This is G.C.O. Undergoing a total re-write, mostly because I think things were too rushed rather than any content or direction changes. If you are one of the few who tried Shrike when it was briefly updating, consider giving it another shot. Of no relation to either The Great Crusade or the recent (in 2017 lol) Shrike book for Warhammer by Games Workshop. All similarities in these cases are superficial; please don't sue me. Feedback welcome and encouraged, never be afraid to review or comment. HQ/Kindle-Grade cover art. Book Cover 2.0: "From the Dark"
