Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 355

Wallace looked at the Empire's Space Fleet...
If they have arrived before his expedition at the Northern Continent, he might be overwhelmed by their current formation.
However, his ability has improved tremendously after he made a connection with Aeolia and the Celestial Beings...
"Perhaps, I can already fight someone in the imperial family on a duel?"
The young man pondered for a bit. Every member of the family had perhaps reached a tremendous height in terms of genetic enhancements.
It is not a secret that many citizens of the empire would not look like humans any longer. It is due to many mutations or perhaps gene enhancements they needed to live longer in space… Aside from that, different types of disease that would be fatal to humans also appears in multiple planets or celestial bodies they're claiming for themselves.
If they did not do anything to improve their physical bodies, they wouldn't be able to survive for so long.
Since the citizens and elite members of the empire have received incredible enhancements in their genes, it is not difficult to assume that the rulers of the Empire would have similar or even more impressive gene modifications.
"What do you think, Avalon?"
[ We are lacking information about the Imperial Family. ]
"Is that so? What do you have about them then?" Wallace asked.
[ Only written records about their appearance in some important events between the Federation and the Empire… ]
Avalon then provided him information about the records it has.
They were not seen fighting at all.
There was only one case when the current Emperor's brother has to act against a space creature that could threaten not only the Empire but also the entire human race.
The space creature itself was at the same size as one of the Empire's Artificial Habitat. It must also be said that a single Habitat can have a population of 2,000,000 humans.
One could just imagine the size of such a creature. That creature was something that shouldn't exist in the first place…
However, as the Empire was on the verge of destruction, a man appeared in their midst and fought against the creature for only half an hour before killing the creature and disintegrating it completely leaving nothing behind.
The man had surely exceeded the limits of what a human can attain during that time.

This is also the one that triggered the Minor Races to join forces with the Meredith Empire or perhaps live under their rule.
"Mhmm… I think I heard about it… However, there are no recordings of that event since the space creature was said to be capable of interfering with all types of energy..."
Wallace recalled the lessons he had when he was young through Avalon's information. Many said that it was just an exaggeration and the creature wasn't that big or that it wasn't just the Emperor's brother who acted against it but a fleet of soldiers.
However, all these rumors have something in common, a part of the Imperial Family had shown incredible results in the battle and it was so impressive that they managed to turn around a despairing situation into an optimistic one.
"Well… We will see about that… They might be considered strong in outer space, but fighting against Magicians might be their bane…"
He finally said before leaving the command center.
There is nothing much to do since every preparation was already completed. However, since they now have a better estimated time of the Empire's arrival, he could just let the factory continue working until he thinks that it's already enough…
After all, it wouldn't hurt to have more spare parts of weapons to be distributed to the public…
"Contact Yumi for me."
[ Affirmative… ]
He didn't have to take long before Yumi connected to his line.
"What's up? If you're going to send a rescue mission for your other self, I'm not going… I don't think I can survive there… However, I can help you find someone that is willing if you pay the price, understand?"
Wallace was a bit amused by Yumi's long greeting.
Nevertheless, he made sure not to laugh at it and explained himself.
"Don't worry… I don't need to rescue him. He has things planned out in the beginning… He's also impressive as I am, you know?"
"Oh… Is that so? Anyway, I know that it's hard to stay there… I don't think I can live there even if no invaders are coming here…"
"I understand… Rest assured, I'm not sending you in space… I just have a question about the distribution of the advanced weapons we've made…"
Wallace immediately went to the main topic.

"Weapons? The one that was similar to the items that Chalice sent to us and to the game you've made?"
"That's correct…"
It has been a while for the experts here in Zairus that are investigating those guns… The laser guns and other things that Chalice sent to the front doors of the Congress to be investigated.
When Wallace had to retrieve his spaceship at Araceli Islands before, he also had to save his other body that was still wearing his bio-armor…
That armor has missing parts and weapons… These things were then sent to his country's experts for further investigation and what was surprising about this, is that the one who sent them was none other than Chalice who is also a part of the Z-Company. The same person he had to encounter and fight during that time.
"Most of them are already distributed. However, as you said, they are mostly distributed to non-magicians rather than the experts…"
"That's right… The magicians already have Mana Artifacts with varying strengths. But ordinary people wouldn't have a method to protect themselves… So we had to balance it even just by a little bit…"
Wallace added. Of course, he also placed several conditions that must be met before giving someone such a weapon… If they did not pass it, he wouldn't dare provide them such a dangerous weapon.
He's aware of the plans of their government to assist the civilians at this dangerous time. However, he knows that it will not be enough and many of them would still surely die in the process.
He may not be able to save them by himself, but he would at least try to give them a chance to fight back and it might give them a miracle as well.
"I know… That's why I helped in that project… It was easy for me as well since I just passed most of the work to the right people… Hehe…"
"You're still reliable… Thank you for your help, Yumi… You've contributed a lot in this…" Wallace smiled as he sincerely thanked the lady.
If not for her continued support to both him and Ace, they would perhaps have a hard time dealing with the administrative tasks and coordination with the government…
"You're welcome, but if you want to thank me, you have to at least consider gifting me some of your exclusive creations…"
"Don't worry about that… Just make a request, I'll do my best to give it to you…"
"Sounds good to me… Right, what are the chances that those aliens would drop here in our country?" Yumi suddenly changed the topic. Her tone had also changed as she seemed to be worried about this.
"Unlikely… Unless they're attracted by something here…"
"I see… It would be better if they descended in a less populated area."
Yumi replied in a low voice. She already accepted that they can't stop the aliens from descending here on the surface…
Her only hope is that they wouldn't land in some major cities or places that have tons of people in them…
"Yumi, I have plans… Don't worry… My group and my weapons would be following their descent. Wherever they are, we will be able to launch an attack… Just pray that they wouldn't split up and that they'll descend together instead…"
Wallace revealed his concerns.
More than twenty spaceships are heading over here and it would be really troubling if they all descended in different parts of the continent.
'No… If I'm the commander of the fleet… I wouldn't let them descend wherever they wanted. Once I've seen the power of the spacecraft that ambushed us, I would be more cautious and avoid spreading out my forces…'
Wallace explained to himself. This is one of the reasons why Ace tried to show their power in outer space anyway.
He wanted them to realize that there are still some beings that could threaten their life here and that they have to be careful.
He can guarantee that Ace's actions had surely influenced the commander of the fleet.
'I might be worrying too much…'
Wallace ended his conversation with Yumi as he also gave a final call to his other friends.
He's unsure what's about to happen once the Empire descended, so he wanted to make sure that they are in a good condition and have also readied themselves to meet the invaders of their planet.
Finally, after waiting for long hours, the Empire is finally orbiting on their planet…

The Edge of Endless
Due to some unforseen and significant life events, this story will be on hiatus for a time. Reborn into a strange but familiar world, Alex makes it his mission to uncover the mysteries of governments, gods, and the arcane realm known only (and inaccurately) as the Unending Depths. Slowly but surely, he grows in ability and meets new and interesting people. tEoE is an epic fantasy LitRPG with a focus on plot, writing, and hopefully original twists on the standard formula of 'MC picks cool class, levels up'. Give it a read if any of the following appeals to you: > 3000-5000 words per chapter, chapters released at least once per week, usually several times. Expect good grammar. > Story focus on illusions, secrets, and traps (along with the usual combat and character stuff). > Progression fantasy, but one where progress is meant to feel earned, moderately paced, and reasonable. Some advantages, but not big, unfair ones. > If a random reader can work out that putting a big rock in a bag of holding, lifting it, and then dropping the rock is free energy, then so could an adventurer who's owned a bag of holding for twenty years. Side characters have brains too. > Blue boxes! Levels! [Classes]! [Skills]! Loot! > No uncomfortable sexist undertones. Ambivalent about including relationships. Definitely no harems. There are a number of arcs planned and this will be ongoing for some time. I am very appreciative of the kind reviews and comments left so far.
