Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 329

Wallace was also confused after he first learned about the Synthetic Mana Core. However, he has an Astral Core in his body which allowed him to easily grasp its function.
His Astral Core was something he placed into his body after a painful and dangerous operation using various types of energies that he can find.
Although it is not something perfect that could equal the Celestial Beings, it is more than enough to be balanced with his Mana…
In this way, he would not be dependant on a single type of Energy which can be very useful in many situations.
Especially right now where there is something like a Magic Jammer… He even heard from Aeolia that the Lamat Stones which should've been extinct were actually something common within the deepest part of the northern continent. He just decided not to find them since these stones can destroy the Magician's society if discovered.
It is better to leave them there than to bring it to their continent.
After all, he couldn't guarantee that his Jammer Canceler would be effective forever… There's a lot of talented Arcane Artificers and Arcanists around and they might find a loophole in his Magic Structure if given a bit more time…
Of course, at this moment, there is also no such thing as Astral Jammer so he can be confident that his abilities would not be stopped or canceled by such technology.
There might be some Lost Arcane Technology that could fight against his Astral Core as per Aeolia, but there shouldn't be one created as of yet…
"Synthetic Mana Core?" Lacus repeated the unfamiliar words that she just heard.
"What's that? This is the first time I've heard of this?"
"There's no such thing in the military as well. At most, there is the Molten Core that I heard of but that is something for the Steel Knights only, right?"

"Yes… Besides, that Molten Core was created by multiple Arcanists of various countries just to contend against the Iron Knight's Core. There is no other purpose than that…"
Everyone who heard about the Steel Knights would also know about the Molten Core that it possesses. After all, it is a huge breakthrough in the Magic Engineering world.
Wallace remained silent as he let them guess about this 7th Gen Mana Artifact…
In truth, even Aeolia only gave him some hints about its power. It means that all of its functions weren't something that even he would know unless he tried using it himself.
"What does it do? What do you mean that it could make our body as weapons?" Miya curiously asked.
She's not a combatant so she couldn't follow that easily. Her powers rely on her Soul Arts and it's not something that she can just practice with anyone… After all, it might cause problems to their souls and it's not something that can be fixed whenever you wanted…
In short, she'll only use offensive Soul Arts technique if extremely necessary, so she's probably the weakest one here…
This is the reason why she's more interested in this 7th Gen… Perhaps, it may help her become a bit stronger and capable of protecting herself.
"Well… You can say that it can help you control a lot of Mana to the point that you can manipulate them to create swords, spears, spikes, or anything without the help of Magic Structure or Artifacts as a medium…" Wallace replied.
"What? How can it be 7th Gen? Isn't that something that the Mana Practitioners before the 5th Generation are doing?" Yumi asked in confusion.
The 4th Gen was the Brain-Boosting Era and the 5th Gen was the Mana-to-Element Era…
"That's true… but this time, you will have a different Mana… I think it's a corrupted Mana? Perhaps a new form of Mana? Maybe because the Mana has a Sentience? I can't say… You may be able to try it yourself once I learned how to do it…"

Wallace replied.
Of course, it wasn't him who is trying to discover the method of its creation but Veda who is currently doing some dangerous experiments to find all its secrets and look for a different method that would allow them to manufacture them in a short amount of time.*
That's right… Creating the 7th Gen is extremely dangerous as it involves some living beings to create such Mana…
"What? A Mana with Sentience?" Clarice had a bad feeling about it…
The Mana should be formless energy that they can manipulate using their affinity.
There should only be three methods to establish their affinity with mana: Forceful Manipulation, Inducement Control, and the Arcane Link…**
If a Mana has Sentience, then it might be harder for everyone to control it and may even cause a problem… It shouldn't be a 7th Gen if that was the case!
However, Wallace continued sharing some information with them about the things he discovered.
All of them discussed the matter of the 7th Gen and many other things and it lasted for a couple of hours… Some of them started getting hungry so Wallace instructed Avalon to bring them some refreshments.
"Hey! Wallace… You should show me the changes you made with the A.O.T.L. already…" Lacus then reminded the man after having some snacks…
The others were confused so Lacus added…
"The A.O.T.L. is our Cloud Hawks Manor's special technique… He said that he made improvements on it… Haa~ It's something that is extremely crucial with the success of the Manor… There shouldn't be a way to improve this technique drastically but I still want to see it myself…"
"That's true… But there's something that we learned in the Northern Continent… Wait… Master Slaine should've told you already, right?" Wallace asked…
"Urgh… He said that he's still busy with something and couldn't come back to the Manor yet…"
"Busy?"
"Yes… He said that he's still in the sky sorting something out…" Lacus replied nonchalantly. She thought that he's just making some excuse.
Miya and the other girls tilted their heads in confusion…
"Don't ask me… I don't know what he's talking about as well."
Wallace's senior apprentice seemed to be truly unaware.
After hearing this, Wallace recalled that Slaine was helping Aeolia at the moment…
"Right… He should still be at one of the Floating Islands…"
"Floating Islands?!" Everyone was shocked…
In the end, Wallace had to give them some information about the islands and they have to keep it a secret.
After all, it is one of his weapons once the Meredith Empire's Starships started to descend on their planet.
