Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 302

[ I want the Aether Force. ]
Veda answered as if it was waiting for the young man to ask.
Ace squinted his eyes after hearing this. The most important thing within this spaceship wasn't their highly advanced cannon or the armor they use to protect from external attack. It wasn't the A.I. controlling this ship or the Arians manning the vessel, it was the Aether Force powering up this whole spacecraft!
"Wait... What would you use them for? I don't think that you'll need them to operate yourself, right?"
[ I need them to strengthen some of the aristocrats under me. ]
"Eh?"
Ace was a bit surprised to hear this. He was aware that the A.I. has a connection to many powerful individuals due to its identity as a secured database.
When he became an apprentice of a Grand Arcanist, his Senior Lacus Minerva explained about Veda's existence and how only a few people were aware of it.
But even though that was the case, he didn't think that Veda would use such a precious source of energy to help these people.
"I don't really mind since I have a huge amount of it after acquiring this ship... How much do you need?"
[ I'll need at least 50% ]
"Eh? That's too much? How will you use them anyway?"
[ I need it to complete a human experimentation that has been halted due to some problems. ]
"What?"
[ I need it to complete a human experimentation that has been halted due to some problems. ]
"Wait... I mean... What kind of experimentation would need such powerful energy?"
Ace paused for a moment after saying this...
"Human Experimentation... Don't tell me..."
He suddenly realized something as he tried to calm himself down.

"Haa~ Even the Empire or the Federation had never tried incorporating such energy to a living being... It's impossible..."
[ It should be impossible... for an average human being. ]
"Then? How are you going to use them?"
[ It will be used for the continuation of the experimentation with stronger mana practitioners. I calculated that the presence of such energy was needed to complete this project that has been halted for while now. ]
Ace already had an idea of what project Veda was talking about but he had to make sure about it...
"Is it that one from the Z-Company?"
[ No. It is the one that was continued by your country's Magician's Congress."
"Haa~ Just like what I thought..."
Ace was aware of this. They were definitely talking about the Cryptic Link Project. It was from the Z-Company at first but after one of their laboratories was raided by the Lucent Force, the latter managed to acquire samples of the Cryptic Link Serum for their own use.
That's right. Through Avalon's ability to gather information, he was made aware of the country's plan to create a perfect serum, one that doesn't have any negative side effects and that would greatly improve the subject.
Ace decided not to ask further about this human experimentation as he didn't want to judge the A.I. based on his own morals.
Anyway, the government seems to be part of it so he didn't have to worry that much.
"Alright... I won't be stingy since you've helped me a lot. So I will give you 25% of the loot. As you know, I still need to operate this Omen and I plan to use them with other spaceships I'm about to create."
[ ... ]
"You don't want it?"

[ Deal. ]
"Great..."
After settling this, Ace went to the captain's room and rested there... He wanted to sort out his mind about his future actions.
He asked Avalon to find something within the Omen and it came back in a couple of minutes.
[ Found 13 Containers. Not enough Containers were found. ]
[ A single container may only fit 1% of the energy. ]
"As expected. Thank you, Avalon..."
Ace replied after hearing the report.
Apparently, it is not easy to split the Aether Force without a special container. Aether Force couldn't just be placed anywhere and there was even a need for the GH Drive System or something similar to properly move them.
He can't obviously descend this spacecraft on the Magic Earth as it would cause some real troubles. Well, unless he landed in a remote region, a place that not a single country owns, he would surely be questioned by the authorities.
He shakes his head after thinking of this. He wanted to just place this spacecraft at the Moon Base or...
"Wait... This might be the best spacecraft in a Lagrange Point!"
Ace was elated by the sudden thought. Just with the size of this spacecraft, Ace would give it passing marks.
Avalon has already found several Lagrange Points that would benefit their space fleet in the future. He also had planned on developing space stations in these points so the appearance of this fully functional Omen would be the best option.
"I can just use these Arians to operate this... Anyway, I have to make it clear that they have to end their thoughts of having the relic destroyed..."
As for the containers, he could only try to create on his own. After all, he wasn't entirely new on this as he needed to create one before during his Astral Core cultivation.

"Dr. Chester! We've received a piece of good news from Veda!"
A young man in his late twenties came running as he gave his report to his mentor. They were currently in one of the laboratories owned by the Congress.
"Is it about the mythical energy?"
Chester asked as he stood up on his desk. He was analyzing a bottle that was filled with blue energy when his apprentice came but it wasn't as important as the news about the energy that was said to only exist in legends.
However, since the information of this energy was within Veda's database and included almost at the highest level required, they were sure that it wasn't just a made-up story and it truly existed at some point in time.
They were thinking that the energy had only dried out after being exploited for many years. They can only ask Veda to lead them to any clues to find any remnant of this energy or ways to find them even with a small chance.
Apparently, it contains some chemical properties that they needed to perfect the serum and even improve it by many folds.
"Yes... It seems that Veda already have an access to it but it will take some time... At least about a month before it would be given to us with the same deal...'
"Very well... One month will pass quickly, we'll have to reopen the laboratories and get more people to volunteer in the project..."
"I understand, Doctor. I'll work on it now..."
As soon as the young man left, Chester glanced at the bottle in his hand before tucking it in his pocket.

Magriculture (Rewrite)
When Aurum Industries announced the first Full Immersion Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (FIVRMMORPG if you're hip) Limitless Online, most people saw it as an opportunity to live out their sword and sorcery fantasies. John, however, saw it as the opening of a new and as of yet uncrowded job market. One he was willing, and eager, to exploit. Determined to make money through virtual hard work and effort, John sets his sights not on the heights of magic or the perfection of the sword, but instead upon the tilling of the soil and the sowing of seeds as he explores the wide and wonderful world of magical agriculture all from the comfort of his own bed. Disclaimer: This is a rewrite of the original "Magriculture", which some of you may have read. (To those who did, you have my deepest gratitude, it is absolutely because of your patronage and comments that this rewrite happened, and I feel the story is better for it.) That said, this story is not a complete and polished work, there will be mistakes and errors, an occasionally these errors may mean I need to rewrite portions of the story (as of this posting the story has gone through two major rewrites already, and I'm seriously hoping there won't be need of a third.) Because of this, there may at times be changes. Such changes may be as small as editing a few numbers (such as going back and changing how much mana an object holds) or it may force me to re-write entire chapters (this has happened once already, and I'm really hoping it doesn't happen again, but... life). Minor re-writes will probably never be posted here. Major rewrites probably will. Anyway, what this boils down to is: If you're looking for a fully cohesive story with few to no errors and publisher level editing, this is not the story for you. If you're looking for a cohesive plot that's more than "Man farms, man farms, man farms well, man maybe makes money" you're probably also in the wrong place, but I will attempt to entertain you anyway.
