Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 301

Boom!
A huge explosion was suddenly heard which resulted in a small earthquake below...
"These guys were serious... It's a good thing that they didn't use one of the floating islands."
Slaine Allusia muttered after seeing the mess in the forest below... He was currently standing on top of a floating island and watching a battle between his apprentice and the Celestial Being.
It was a sight to behold. Magic spells that he had never seen before were flying everywhere on the battlefield.
It has been ongoing for more than six hours now.
One could only imagine how surprised this Grand Arcanist was. He was impressed with the unending energy coming from the young man... It was so mysterious and he was very curious to learn how did it happen.
On the other hand, when he asked the living legend about Wallace's uniqueness, he would only smile at him! Old man Schien was definitely aware of Wallace's secrets but he wouldn't tell him!
In the end, he can only watch the two powerful beings to battle and learn from watching them...
As a matter of fact, it wasn't their first time doing this and what he only learned was that whenever he thought that Wallace's mana was already depleted, the young man would always burst out with unique energy...
It has the same feeling as what the Celestial was releasing but it was also very different. He couldn't properly pinpoint the similarities but he could feel it.
"Sigh~ This young man already has the power of a Sage..."
Slaine muttered as he watches the two continue their battle. His words can't be taken lightly as Sages were magicians that are only one step closer to reaching the peak.
Sages were Mana Practitioners who could maximize the 93% of purity in their mana. They were magicians who had full control in every mana they release, intentionally or not. Normally, attaining the level of a Sage would take at least four decades to accomplish, and placing Wallace at their same level was definitely high praise...

Boom!
Boom!
The battle continued as it reaches its peak.
Apparently, the Celestial wanted to have a spar with Wallace to pass the time. It wasn't something that the Celestials would do together with their kind so it was such a great experience for the two.
It wasn't easy to find someone as durable as Wallace especially when he uses his powerful abilities. On the other hand, the young man had never experience releasing everything he got in a battle. After all, the opportunities he had were mostly handled by a Mech Frame or Avalon's automatons.
"Mr. River... I'm getting tired now..."
Wallace suddenly said after they break away...
The Celestial Being doesn't have a name but Wallace had the audacity to give him a name... His reason for calling him River was that the blue light of the Celestial's body was like an endless stream of water from a river.
Maybe it flattered the Celestial as he actually agreed!
Aside from that, the young man even decided that the Celestial would be a mister and it went well... Slaine could only admire the young man's courage.
"Very well... You have improved. If the foreign enemies that you've told me would be as strong as you... Then I can't wait for them to descend here... Ha Ha Ha..."
'Well, I don't really want them to come here...'
Wallace thought as he smiled wryly after hearing the voice in his mind. He already got used to the irritating voice in his head.
"They would definitely be strong. But I think that it would be in a different way..."
"Mhmm... That's even better! Ha Ha! Speaking of which, what kind of magic did you use in the last moment when I released my strongest attack accidentally... You even managed to fight back... That's impressive."
Celestial Beings were hard to please since they were extremely powerful. However, he just gave genuine praise to Wallace! Even the young man was surprised that he was being acknowledged.

He smiled at this as he answered truthfully.
"I call it Aeon Guardian... Once I used that skill, you may consider me as invincible in that short amount of time..."
"Invincible in that short time?" Mr. River asked. There was a hint of contempt in his voice.
Wallace was sure that the Celestial was doubting him since this Being had never released his full potential when fighting the young magician to avoid killing him accidentally. He was still grateful for teaching him the Divine Sense.
Wallace only nodded at this as a reply. After all, he also has his Fervor Timepiece that could always save his life in critical situations. So he wasn't pressured in front of this powerful being.
While Ace was busy in outer space, it seems that Wallace here also has his hands full of many things. It can be seen that he continues to strengthen himself for the sake of the near future with the Empire.

"Avalon... Have you discovered any more problems with the spacecraft?"
Ace asked the A.I.
The A.I. already gave him the status of the spacecraft but the young man was looking for a different report.
He already left the control of one of the automatons inside the Omen IV and was now seated at the captain's seat inside the Transcendence.
After about half an hour of talking with Captain Shreguc, he learned many things about the Arians and he could only trust his judgment not to eliminate them at the moment.
[ No traces of the Empire's System has been found. ]
[ No other spacecraft has been found within 30 AU. ]
[ No abnormalities on the Omen's Artificial Intelligence. We can now utilize the program for our own usage. ]
"I guess I can relax now for a bit but... continue monitoring their every action."
[ Affirmative. ]
"Very well... I'm ready to hear the news about the Zymeth Spaceship."
Ace finally said after confirming that everything was settled under Avalon's control.
Avalon didn't hesitate and gave a brief report.
[ The Zymeth Spaceship was found by the forces of the Galactic Federation but all the members of the crew were missing. ]
[ There were also no traces of the enemy spaceships in the vicinity. The vessel was just left drifting in outer space when the rescuers had arrived. ]
[ Three months after the incident and the businesses that the Heather Family established had collapsed due to the absence of their great leader. ]
This wasn't good news but Ace remained calm as he analyzed the report. After a few moments, he grinned as he realized something.
'There's still hope!'
He noticed one detail in the report that could prove that his father was probably safe.
Well, it was weird that the Galatic Federation was the first people who found the spacecraft. After all, he clearly remembers that the reinforcements from his father's company were hurrying to rescue the spaceship from the Empire when they were surrounded.
They should be the first one to arrive and if they arrived first, they wouldn't just leave the Zymeth Spaceship drifting in the outer space as it was their property.
If the fleet were also destroyed or defeated, there should some debris of those large spaceships due to battle, however, there weren't any signs of battle at all.
The reinforcement they had was by no means a small space fleet.
The reinforcement they were expecting was a large space fleet at the nearest space station they had under their control!
"Thank you, Avalon... Veda, did you find anything that would interest you in this spacecraft?"
As long as there wasn't any concrete news about his father's death, Wallace would remain to have his hope of reuniting with his family. In the meantime, he just had to continue what he ought to do in this place.

I'm not sure how much I learned in the process, except that readers get angry when you mess with characters they like! Warnings - I tend to info dump. I know I do this, I like slice of life novels that take time to unfold. So don't expect action, murder, and battles in every chapter, it isn't going to happen I prefer the first-person narrative. I will do an occasional POV shift, but it will never be done mid-chapter. I hope you enjoy the story, comments, ratings, and favorites are greatly appreciated!
