Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 284

"Any explosions sighted?"
"We haven't found any..."
"Was it really successful?! I don't believe it... How did that large vessel even fly up in the sky anyway?!"
At the joint clan's command center, the director couldn't accept the successful space launch lead by Wallace.
Not only that, but they were also getting curious about the propulsion system that the young man used which was almost non-existent in their eyes.
There was no visible rocket system attached and they couldn't imagine how did that huge ramp manage to generate enough force to lift it up...
They were unaware of what kind of magic was imbued in the spacecraft to make it happen. Although they have their own method of space launch, they were dying to know how Wallace managed to be successful in this very first space project.
They had never heard of any similar projects he has done before. They were sure that this was the first time unless they would count the events within the virtual reality game he created...
'Wait... The virtual world?'
After reaching this thought, the director suddenly realized that this could be one of his secrets.
'Did it already reach to the point that it could also simulate such things? That's...'
If that was the case, then they have to get this technology or perhaps borrow it from him...
As every staff in the command center was unable to find any traces of the spacecraft sent out by Wallace, they could only conclude that it has already reached a place where their sensors were unable to pass through. It may also have something similar to the stealth system and perhaps it was already about to land on the moon.
In the end, they could only sigh in amazement at this successful space launch.
"Officer Ron..."
"Yes... Director Hall..."
"Purchase a VR Pod and analyze it using our coder..."

Officer Ron who was called out was handling the technical stuff for their space launch project. He was the second-in-command Arcanist when the space shuttle was still being built by the Grand Arcanist.
The sudden instruction made him a bit stunned as he didn't immediately realize the director's plan.
However, since he was already interested in that VR Pod for some time now, he still agreed and worked on it.
He has been planning to analyze this device before but because of the space project he was in, there was no time for him to tinker on it.
The Director was satisfied and went to Grand Sage Maze's Mage Tower to personally give a report.

At a certain part of the Mt. Raven not too far from the plaza, there was a group of people who had also attended the event but decided to stay here.
"That was incredible... I didn't think that Wallace had planned this far... All Grand Arcanist's apprentices were really on a different level..."
It was said by a middle-aged lady with a stunning body. She was accompanying the VR pod's model and endorser, Miya Linus, in this cabin, and they were watching the whole event.
The middle-aged lady was Diana Humeray. Although she hadn't really played the virtual game and only tried it a few times, she was still invited here as there should be someone assisting Miya.
Once the Pilot Selection was completed, Miya had to show her presence to the players and give a little performance for a break. After all, the event wouldn't just end on this selection.
"You praise us too much. Not all apprentices can do this. This guy was just too mysterious... I doubt that the Master was even aware of his true capabilities..."
Lacus replied after hearing her praise.
It was the truth, the Space Launch project, the number of huge spaceships, the plan to create a base on the moon... especially that last part, it sounded fantasy for her since even the other countries had never thought of that. The northern continent was still a mystery to them so how would they even think of exploring the moon?

'Sigh~ Is it really happening?'
Lacus suddenly felt worried as she has already read the Prince's Logbook. There was still a little doubt in her heart as she just couldn't accept it all.
However, by the looks of it... Wallace has been doing everything in preparation for that day and she couldn't help but be wary of it as well. The most that she could do was help this junior apprentice of her as much as she could.
"Do you think that he'll be successful in his Moon Base project?"
Miya was already wearing her makeup and her red evening dress... She wasn't that fully aware of the reason behind Wallace's action but she had learned about his plans for the Moon as after the maintenance today in the Alien Invasion Game the subtitle "Moon's Project" will be added to it.
She wasn't sure about the specificities but his plan in real life seems to be connected to the game world which made her really curious about it.
"He will be... Considering that his first space launch was successful, no one can stop him anymore..."
"I thought as much... I just can't believe that he would be this ambitious..."
Miya softly muttered. Her goal was only to earn money to feed herself and her family through her hobby. That was why she studied the Spirit Arts and became a Celebrity Idol...
Lacus smiles at her after hearing this. She thought how mysterious this young man indeed.
'The man still has many secrets but you are correct, he was ambitious and it was this trait that draws people near him.'
Lacus glanced at the other side of the cabin and saw two young girls happily observing the Iron Knight that Wallace left here.
The Iron Knight was gold and white with a height of 9 meters if it was standing. Right now, however, it was in a kneeling posture so the two young girls can closely observe the majestic war machine.
It wasn't bulky like the one at the plaza but its most eye-catching feature was its large sword on its back that already reaches the ground.
If Wallace didn't tell her about its origin, she wouldn't realize that it was the Iron Knight he had before.
That's right. This is the Iron Knight he received from Grand Arcanist Slaine but Ace modified it a lot after Wallace disassemble it to study its core. It was to the point that you could no longer see any semblance from the previous Iron Knight he received.
Lacus sighed as she said a few words to Miya before approaching the two young ladies. Honestly, she was truly impressed by how Wallace managed to get a connection to these people.
The two young ladies observing the Iron Knight were Yumi from NMTI and Erza from the Ministry of Magic Education.*

At the plaza, no one had noticed Ace's worry as he instructed Avalon to continue its path towards the moon.
He also instructed the A.I. to carefully observe the asteroid found and make sure that it was really an asteroid and not a form of camouflage to trick them.
It would be a disaster if they treated it as a normal asteroid and it happens to hide a spacecraft inside.
"Be discreet with your investigation..."
Ace finally said to Avalon as he put his focus on the event.
