Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 260

After Ace heard Wallace's message from Avalon, he didn't immediately react as he was stunned by this sudden news.
'Several months? He's really planning to dump all these tiring works to me, huh...'
Ace was already aware that it was really his task to manage the construction and the creation of magic technology.
After all, although his body was physically strong and has already adapted to mana, he wasn't as strong as Wallace who has Void Phase, Astral Core, and Arcane Link. He has to work on something that would benefit not just his individual strength like what his other body pursues.
He needs to maximize his A.I.'s capability unlike what Wallace did and show to the world the vastness of the galactic technology.
'Sigh~ I just hope that he won't get too attached in that place and decided to live there for good... Anyway, I should be more than enough to protect this place.'
Ace's main strength would still be the technology he has. But considering that his body was trained in several martial arts, as long as he managed to avoid the spells or even managed to destroy the opponent's artifacts, he was confident to finish off his enemy.
It was risky, so that was why even if he was busy constructing the structure in this mountain, the hangar, mass driver, and the others, he didn't forget to develop his own weapons that would fit his style.
In the meantime, the main defense of his property would still be the Mech Frames controlled by Avalon.
"What happened?"
Miya noticed Ace's expression as she worriedly asked.
"Oh... Nothing... I just got reminded by the tasks I have to complete."
Ace smiled wryly as he answered.
After a while, Miya decided to leave the villa as she confirms that 'Wallace' was fine in contrast to the news she had.
It was also good to know that this place was actually about to be turned to Wallace's business district. A place where all his current and future creations passed by the NMTI will be produced.

She clearly understood this point since this young man's business with his VR Pods was expanding every day! As an endorser of such products, she realized that their target market wasn't just for gamers but it was catered for everyone and not just here in their country.
The virtual world it offers was so advanced that no other competitors would dare to copy their business. It will surely conquer the market sooner or later.
Anyway, she felt that it was natural that a huge business that was now competing in the international stage would have such expenses to create a better quality of products.
Miya looked back at the mountain behind her and confirmed that Wallace has even controlled the temperature around his property through magic.
She was impressed by how meticulous he works to improve the place he has.
"Satisfied?"
A voice was suddenly heard as she was interrupted in her thoughts. It was her manager who decided not to accompany her and let the two have a chat with each other.
Miya smiled before she answered.
"Yes... It seems that he was fine... Nothing to worry about."
"That's good to hear... But it's weird that Miss Chamber would tell you incorrect news."
"Hmm... It's fine. He might have just returned or something... As long as he's okay."
Miya replied before she silently entered the car brought by her manager.

Ace had been trying to communicate with Wallace at the northern continent but it seems that Avalon and Veda were unable to help.
Veda explained to him that the message he received through Avalon was actually due to the help of one of its devices left in the continent.
Unfortunately, Wallace has been storing it back to his Spatial Bag and unless he retrieved it out, it won't be able to connect to Wallace.
"Fine... Let's leave it at that... I'll see what I can do here. He should be safe given that he's able to give me such message."

Ace decided not to think more about Wallace and focused on working at the construction site.
Ace has already built the huge framework of the first combat spaceship sponsored by Veda.
It was equipped with a Positron Cannon, Magic Enhanced Turrets, and several destructive weapons but the internal design was still in a mess.
Ace wanted to create a spaceship that would let anyone be comfortable after getting in so he ordered a batch of expensive products to design the floors, living quarters, comfort rooms, and even the bridge wasn't any exclusion.
After all, this was the first spaceship he was trying to create. Although it was only a middle size spaceship, about 350 meters in length, he wanted to make it as perfect as possible since this would be the flagship of the fleet.
Ace was almost done creating the ship and he only has to place a few more weapons.
"Avalon, check the missile launchers if it's ready to be mounted..."
[ Affirmative ]
Ace was referring to the 10 x 4 tube missile launchers.
It has three types of missiles, the ground missiles, interceptor missiles, and space missiles which was perfected in a different way.
Normally, they should conduct a firing test for these missiles before it would be mounted but through Veda and Avalon's cooperation, they easily identified any defects on it and managed to perfect a missile without firing even once.
Almost everything was being completed and tested through virtual simulation.
It was such a huge help for Ace who couldn't find a way to do a test-fire of his powerful and destructive weapons.
Especially that Positron Cannon that could potentially harm the environment. It was a weapon that was advised to be used only in space as much as possible.
Aside from the Positron Cannon hiding at the middle front of the spaceship, there were also two beam cannons at the left and right side of the vessel that acts as its main weapon aside from the several turrets mounted everywhere on the warship.
After a day of completing the finishing touches, Ace looked at his masterpiece and admired it for a while.
"I should give this a name..."
Ace thought for a moment before he picked one...
"I'll call you Excellence..."
At the moment, it was the finest creation he had so he gave it this majestic name.
"Avalon, show me its details..."

There were tons of other information on this warship so Avalon showed only the important ones.
Ace was satisfied looking at the information before he decided to call it a day and have a good night's rest.
Working on these projects was both tiring and enjoyable. The satisfaction he felt every time he finished one of his tasks gave him more energy to complete all the others and see their finished products.
Tomorrow would be the same day as he continuously creates other smaller warships.
"No... I have to start attending classes tomorrow... Ugh..."
Wallace had to attend classes from time to time just enough for him not to get suspended.
"Sigh~ I just hope that nothing goes wrong..."

Aurora: Apocalypse
Currently participating in the April 2022 Royal Road Writeathon. This fiction will resume in May 2022 When Methuselah’s star explodes, the world burns under the impact of an extinction level event. Emmett Carter just wants one thing - to gather his family at the farm and keep them safe. Rated [M] for Mature Audiences. Contains Alcohol use, Drug use, Gore, Profanity, Smoking, Violence.Rated [D] for Drama. Contains emotional themes, interpersonal relationships, and character development. Author's note: You are reading a first draft, written mostly while drinking cheap whiskey. Expect it to read like hot garbage and I guarantee that it’ll meet your expectations. I’m a storyteller, not a writer - there’s a huge difference between the two professions. IMPORTANT! This story is told in a first-person limited, conversational style, with Emmett occasionally breaking the 4th wall and addressing the reader directly. This means that YOU and Emmett may have absolutely no idea why stuff is happening, because there will be little or no exposition or other POV's. Read the comments for spoilers, ask questions if you want to know something. This work incorporates blended aspects of Xianxia, Wuxia, Super powers, and Western Magic into a post-apocalyptic fantasy adventure. It is none of those things and all those things, mashed together. The MC is Over Powered, but so are many, many others. He just hasn't met them yet. Dear Student, What follows is an adaption of the diary of Emmett Carter before his Ascension. While the decades during and after the Aurora Apocalypse are lost to us, the Ascended himself has allowed us to publish this work so long as we warn the reader that it may not be entirely accurate or present an unbiased viewpoint of the events. One should also note that the Aurora was in flux during that time and some things that were possible in the early days are no longer possible, especially with the advent of the Akashic record. Editors have included footnotes when possible to explain pre-aurora technologies or concepts and how they relate to current magical technologies. The contents of this work may upset readers. If you’ve ever been in a natural disaster, had a house fire, witnessed a murder, lost a loved one to violence, or have a strong opinion on the sanctity of life, please do not read this. It contains dramatic scenes of a world in the throes of an apocalyptic event. There are no rainbows and unicorns, only loss, uncertainty, and death while the survivors struggle to rebuild their lives. Updates Thursdays and Sundays for now. Word count is about 2000 ~ 4000ish per chappie.
