Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 255

Wallace noticed that Sir Aeolia had an amused expression after reading the translated logbook.
'Is he familiar with the records?'
He suddenly remembered that outside this tower was a sign written in Aerathi, it is the official language of the Lonar Alliance where the prince came from.
Thinking about it, there might've been some things that were left in this place that would allow Ross Schien's ancestor to study the language.
Wallace suddenly had an urge to record this moment to let his previous classmate, Ross Schien, know that Aeolia was still alive...
Anyway, it wouldn't be a surprise if this old man found many hidden records here that contain something similar to the logbook he has with him.
He might've learned about this already at some point.
"Sir... Do you believe in what was recorded here?"
Wallace asked as he noticed that the old man was no longer paying attention to it.
On the other hand, his master was reading it carefully afraid that he would miss something.
The Grand Arcanist felt like he was reading a made-up story.
'Prince Zacchaeus Zaimphail.'
'There were already people who arrived here from a different world?'
'They possess an ancient relics that were being collected by a powerful empire?'
'Now, they have to ready themselves until the moment they arrived?'
What kind of story is this?
Urgh!
If he believed in this, then everything would make sense. But a part of his mind couldn't accept that such otherworldly beings would try to occupy their land.
He reviewed the blueprints that were recorded here but even if the group of people who first arrived here left them these copies to help them, it would be tough for them.
He sighed looking at the exquisite designs for weapons, facilities, and even various groundbreaking technologies noted in the book.
Unfortunately, based on his understanding of these blueprints, it wouldn't be so easy to make them unless several countries would unite together and gather all the resources required.

This was easier said than done!
Simple and private trades between nations were already limited due to the difference in government. To ask them more to cooperate and build a weapon or facilities to make these lethal arms would be more difficult. After all, even if these weapons were made, the one who would have the authority to use them would also be put in question.
It was at this point that Slaine heard Wallace's question to Aeolia.
"I believe in them..." The old man answered which made Slaine a bit expectant.
'If he believes in this information... Then the oracle must be referring to this...'
"Then, would you help us? I previously asked one of the Celestial Beings for their help but they brought me here to you... Is there anything you can do?"
Slaine also wanted to ask Wallace where in the world did he get this information but he wanted to get Aeolia's opinion about this first.
"You said that you're already preparing something, right?"
"Yes... It is an Arcana..."
Slaine explained in detail how his Arcana would affect all the Mana Practitioners and boost their strengths further.
This time, Wallace listened carefully as he also has an Arcana with him given by the Pathfinder. He was unable to determine what it can do since even the Pathfinder only told him to seek assistance with an Arcanist to appraise it.
As he remembers that, he kept in his mind that he'll seek his master's help about this later on.
About half an hour had passed and Aeolia seems to be satisfied with the Grand Arcanist's plan. However, both of them were aware of the weakness of the plan. It was time.
The Grand Arcanist already possess the materials with him but creating the Arcana and introducing it to the people until they gradually get used to it was a different story.
Of course, it was better than nothing.
'An Arcana that slowly affects the magician's meridians to improve their power... This is impressive...'

Wallace listened to them and he understood that the Arcana his master was trying to make was revolutionary.
Even Aeolia looked interested on it. If they probably have the time, this plan would be perfect.
Once the army from the empire arrives, they would surely be surprised if they fought a bunch of Sages and Arcanists rather than Adepts and Artificers.
This time, Aeolia offered his help to the Grand Arcanist. The latter's plan was good but it needs more refinement.
With his help, they crafted a plan that even Wallace didn't dare to think of.

Yumi and her group safely arrived at the ground floor of the tower.
For some reason, the special room they've entered before was still working automatically. It still opened and closed at the right time and it was impressive.
It gave them an easier time and they even found traces of some other members the Grand Arcanist's expedition team. They had some time to group up with them adding 6 more people in their midst.
It was mostly thanks to Percival scanning ability. It consumes a lot of his mana if repeatedly used, so he didn't dare use it before without proper support.
But now that he has Hannah and Elaine backing him up, he was no longer afraid to drain his mana even to a critical level as long as they could find more people to save.
"We've been attacked just outside this building right before we could enter the tower. We suspected it to come from a Celestial."
"Huh? Did you guys offended one?" The other guys from the expedition team were looking worried and have the same thoughts as Percival.
"No... We didn't... Not that we are aware of."
"Do you think that Celestial was still outside?"
"Well, Wallace hinted that it should be fine going out already, so..."
"Alright... But just to be safe, I'll be going out first and survey the surroundings."
Percival quickly acted as he said those words.
As soon as he stepped out. He activated his wide-scale scanning ability to find any unusual presence around the tower.
Aside from a few mana beasts, he didn't sense any other abnormality so he gave an ok sign to the others.
Everyone wanted to leave this place as soon as possible but because of the Grand Arcanist and Wallace's absence, some of them were reluctant to leave the tower.
"Sir Slaine went deeper as he sensed something deeper in the tower. Wallace was the same, they would most like meet and it means that going out would be easier for them."
Percival comforted Yumi and her friends after seeing their worrying glance at the tower. They were now stealthily moving towards their extraction point and it will still take several days so there would be plenty of chances for Wallace and Slaine to keep up with them.
Right now, they have to pray that they would not encounter the Celestial Being who attacked their previous group, or Wallace and Slaine would not even see them anymore as they will perish earlier than the two.
On the other hand, Dr. Mao was looking better now that they made it outside. He has been collecting various herbs, fruits, grass, insects, and other samples he could take to study later on. It was the best time to find out more about this land.
Aside from various chimera and mana beasts they encounter, there hasn't been a lot of trouble along the way until they were confronted by an uninvited guest.
Everyone was suddenly unable to use their mana and as soon they found the source of it, they could only stare at the being made of blue energy floating above them...
'Sigh... So, it still found us...'
Yumi frowned at the sight of the same Celestial Being they encountered before.

Condemned
“The human body is a fragile thing. But the soul... The soul is malleable. Easily tainted. All it takes is one drop of blood to dye it all red.” Long ago, in a time remembered only by a few, the seven lords of Syvernia, led by the Great Hero Ludwig, ended the Great Calamity that plagued humanity for as long as time itself. It was the dawn of a new age of man. . . until the thirst for more poisoned the new lords. Slowly, the thread that held humanity together loosened and a thick haze consumed the lands between. Mysterious vanishings, supernatural forces, and silence warns of a looming threat inside the coat of fog. Though the struggle of the realms did not interest Leor, for he was condemned as a Purblight, until he took a seemingly simple job: escort Alden to Lightendale and collect the handsome reward, a reward that would let him live the rest of his life with ease. But it’s never that simple, especially for someone who denounced the Gods. All his life, death followed Leor everywhere he went, cutting down his friends and family. When his first love died at the hands of an agent of light, he was prepared to throw everything away until a mysterious voice promised him a chance for retribution and a chance to bring her back by completing the seven trials. Thrown into the realm's struggle against the approaching haze and themselves, will Leor, a Purblight and an acquaintance of tragedy, use the very power he disdains to accomplish his goals? This is the rewrite of my novel: Condemned; I changed it to past tense and added/ took out some ideas from the original. This is essentially the first draft since I'm writing as I go. Also, there might be or might not be Gore, Sexual, or Traumatizing content. I only put it there for a disclaimer in case I want to add it. I have no set release schedule yet, but I'll try to post once every 2 week. Thanks for your patience.
