Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 251

Wallace would like this battle to get over with because aside from getting a piece of advice from Veda, it even warned him about something else.
[ The lamia has an experimental stage Healing Orb somewhere inside its body. You can try removing that to kill it. Also, you may want to hurry and leave this place before your mana starts being corrupted. ]
"Corrupted?"
[ Correct. You may possess a level of immunity because of your Astral Core but your subordinates do not. In any case, you can consider going deeper inside this tower after this trifling matter. You might find that place interesting. Good luck! ]
Wallace didn't mind the latter part in the meantime as he was curious about the corruption it mentioned.
If it was really that dangerous, then Percival and the lady together with him must be affected already, considering that they have been here for a long time.
Realizing this, Wallace took a quick glance to the two and noticed that there were indeed a little and unnoticeable changes on their mana but...
'That's not the time for that... I need to finish this quickly.'
He thanked Veda for helping him again before he placed the machine back to his spatial bag.
He tries looking for the orb that Veda was saying but even if he uses his Divine Sense, he was unable to find it inside this creature's body.
"Tsk... This is the first time I'll be using this but..."
Wallace muttered before closing his eyes.
He concentrated his energy around him and slowly expanded until he felt the presence of the lamia.
It took another couple of seconds before he opened his eyes.
As soon as it happened, a huge pressure came down to everyone for a couple of seconds before disappearing.
"What was that?!"
"Urgh... What happened!"
Even Percival was a bit startled after sensing the pressure that came out of nowhere.
It was due to Wallace's poor control that his group was also affected by his ability for a few seconds.

Luckily, he quickly realized his mistake and controlled the pressure with his will. He easily focused it on the lamia that was being bombarded by various spells.
The young man didn't lose his concentration as he was still trying to find something inside the lamia's body while it was still immobilized by his pressure.
This was a technique that he has been interested in ever since Chalice made him kneel down by his powerful pressure. He remembers that person in Araceli Island giving off a huge pressure to him while he was floating in the sky looking down on him.
It was such a marvelous presence that was etched within his mind.
It was at that time when he realized how this world's powerful magician can look down at any people as long as they possess indisputable strength.
"Found it!"
Wallace exclaimed as he decided to use his Secret Art to take the Orb acting as its core.
Lightning sparks accumulated on his right hand while he was still emitting the pressure bearing down on the beast.
Whoosh!
He quickly moved his feet and arrived in front of the lamia.
The beast was struggling to get up but as soon as it saw Wallace appearing in front of it, it bared its fangs and attempted to bite the young man.
Rage and madness can be seen in its eyes as it was surely annoyed by the pressure that was limiting its movement.
Wallace ignored the attack and continued piercing the beast's lower chest. Wallace held something on his hands as he quickly pulled out his arm and jumps away.
Aaargh!!
The beast screamed loudly due to the painful experience. Everyone also notices that the hole made by Wallace's attack was no longer healing rapidly.
'So, he really did something! Good!'
"We can kill it now!"
Percival said after he realized what had just happened. Soon, everyone bombarded the beasts with various spells and although it was still somehow blocking most of the mana spells, it could not defend against such incoming attacks from all directions.

The beast perished after a few moments which made Percival and Avery sigh in relief. It has given them such trouble on their way here. Luckily, Wallace has something up in his sleeves to deal with such a monster.
'I can't sense anything about this thing....'
Wallace was holding a palm-size green orb that he took inside the beast's body. He decided to keep it for future investigation.
Anyway, he now has two souvenirs that he got from this land, it was Veda's machine and this orb. He stored the orb within his spatial bag and approached the group who was resting for a bit.
They surely used almost half of their mana reserves just to hold back and finally eliminate that beast. It was still a tough battle for them even without the orb healing it.
After a while, the group decided to get out of this place as quickly as possible. They were planning to return by using the same path they used to get here.
"Wallace, are you not coming with us?"
Yumi said after the young man returned the 6th gen mana artifact to Clint.
It was the gauntlet he borrowed to eliminate a colony of insects a while ago.
"I have to check something deeper in this tower... Don't worry, it should be relatively safe going outside. We've already eliminated most of the insects and beasts."
"Hey! Did you forget that missile-like blue energy?"
"Oh, that... It was from the Celestial but it should no longer be lurking around here... You can just go ahead trace your way back. I will catch up to you guys..."
"Sigh~ Anyway, you've already done more than enough. Be careful here..." Yumi said as she leads the group out.
She wanted to ask how did he know such detail but after remembering all the incredible feats he accomplished in this land, Wallace completely had her full trust...
Percival also thanked the young man before following Yumi's lead.
'Sigh~ So it was really senior Avery.'
Wallace thought after the group left. He didn't immediately recognize the lady as he wasn't focused on identifying her a while ago.
He was a bit familiar to her since she was part of the team that attended the international competition representing their country.
He was also curious about what lead her to join such an organization seeking chaos everywhere but it was not the time to ask such questions.
"Right... I can now move as much as I want..."
Wallace said before he suddenly used his Void Phase to disappear... For some reason, the distance he could utilize the Void Phase was extremely limited.
He encountered bizarre beasts and chimeras around but he just ignored them as he continued his way down. He noticed that there were also signs of a recent battle in several rooms and hallways that he entered.
So it may be the reason why he encountered only a few monsters.
"This aura..."
Wallace felt a familiar presence as he quickly entered the opened room.
"Master, it has been a while..."
"Wallace?"
The Grand Arcanist paused for a moment before he realized something.
"Are you one of Percival's rescuers that he mentioned?"
"Yes, I was hired by a friend." Wallace answered as he glanced around the room.
"Mhmm... You're surely brave going deeper here. Didn't it caused you some trouble?"
"It was quite tough but I managed somehow. Right, what's in this place, master?"
"Sigh~ I also wanted to know but I'm unable to enter. I'm not good with this stuff... You can try checking it out.."
Slaine pointed at the metal door and the device that was working as a scanner to identify who can enter the room beyond the metal door.
Wallace saw this and pulled out Avalon's terminal. It turned to a floating metal ball and quickly connected itself to the device attached to the wall.

He has more power and wealth than he needs. But even then, he craves one thing; death. He wants to die. Power is misery and death is the solace, but he cannot achieve his only goal. He cannot die. Perhaps that will change when one day, an ancient cosmic Goddess rises from her grave? Perhaps she will finally kill him? Or will she fall short before his awesome yet terrible power? Only time will tell. This is a high cosmic story about the hypocritical life of the protagonist and how it affects everyone (and everything) around him. Naturally, it features very overpowered characters with a lot of high stakes battles roaming across the cosmos. Warning: Swearing, some suggestive sexual gestures/words, gore. Feedback is highly welcomed. (The story was originally named, God's Return, but I wanted to change it.)
