Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 250

Wallace steps up and carefully analyze the situation. He focuses his eyes towards the approaching beast and realized that it was also observing them.
Its eyes were definitely unlike humans as they have similarities with a snake.
Looking at it closely, the young man noticed that this beast was covered by a different energy that makes any mana become unstable around it.
It was like a living magic jammer itself.
"Immune to mana and tough scales, huh..."
Since that was the case, they just have to defeat it without using mana. They can use their blades or physical weapons but in this situation were the beast seems to be more agile than them, they had to attack it by surprise.
Wallace readied his Void Phase and targeted the location behind the beast. He also pulled out his laser gun but it was not to finish off the beast but only to soften the energy and scales protecting its body.
"Headmaster, just run straight to us!" Wallace instructed them as he didn't wait anymore and disappeared from their sight.
He was sure that the headmaster had means to fight against a beast that could ignore mana attacks but seeing that he was not doing so, he determined that he had to be careful. There must something more with this beast that he hasn't realized yet.
Wallace reappeared behind the lamia and pointed his gun at the back of its head.
Whoozzsh!
The force didn't penetrate the energy protecting its body but the being stopped chasing the headmaster after it was attacked by an enemy behind.
Wallace no longer used the gun seeing that it was too ineffective against the enemy.
The lamia was about to use its tails to sweep through him but he was fast enough to launch another strike.
"Haah!"
A punch filled with Astral Core's energy and Lightning Break hit the beast's body before it could land an attack to Wallace.
Boom!
It was thrown forward to the ground as the impact created a small crater on the floor.

Wallace saw that its body was heavily damaged and he believes that it no longer possesses any danger even though it still has some remaining life force on it.
"Don't put down your guard yet... It can't be easily killed!"
Percival suddenly shouted. Wallace took a glance at the damaged body of the lamia and he saw that it was rapidly healing!
"This..."
He had never encountered such an enemy that could heal itself without much trouble.
It only took about seven seconds for the lamia to have its body healed to the point that it can already move around. Then after about fifteen seconds, it was completely healed like it never had experienced any injuries just now...
'So that was why he's running away. He probably tried killing it several times but it was always getting healed in full in a few seconds.'
Aside from feeling amazed by this discovery, it causes them a headache as this beast would surely be difficult to handle.
Running away from it was also a problem since the beast was probably more familiar on this place than them.
Their options were to find its weakness or if it is truly hard to kill, they have to find a way to immobilize or imprison the beast.
Wallace attempted to kill it once before by sending a much more powerful attack but this time, he wanted to destroy its head and its heart.
It may be the lamia's weakness.
Boom!
Although the lamia was agile, it was unable to predict Wallace's movement with his Void Phase.
Whoozzsh!
Another set of lasers and punch landed on the beast. Unfortunately, it seems that it truly has several lives as it can heal in such a short time.
The others also joined in and used various spells after Wallace sent his powerful attacks.
"Is this truly a monster and not an illusion?"
Wallace couldn't accept that such a cheat-like ability existed to anyone. Even with the help of the others, it was still rapidly healing itself like an immortal. He already destroyed its head and pierced its heart and was still able to regenerate by itself.

What if this monster was not alone? How could anyone fight such undying creatures?
Turn it completely into ash?
That was difficult considering that its scales were too tough and mana spells don't work very well on it. They do not have the time.
He wanted to ask Veda about this creature but it doesn't seem to be connected with Avalon.
He had to bring out the machine he has that was inside his Spatial Bag to communicate with the super A.I.
It may be knowledgeable enough to know how to end this creature. After all, they might encounter another one of these monsters on their way back.
Aaarrrghh!!
The lamia screamed out loud as it was annoyed by the constant barrage of spells after Wallace dealt some heavy blow on it.
Although it was capable of blocking mana spells, it wasn't that reliable after getting hit by Wallace's strikes.
Yumi and the others were timing their attacks perfectly after Wallace's.
"This can't continue like this. We don't know how long this creature can maintain its rapid regeneration... We're spending too much mana to deal little damage on it..."
"It should be better to escape from it..."
"That's difficult, we already tried losing this creature by running fast but it was able to follow without much trouble."
"Calm down... Occupy this creature in the meantime. I have a plan."
Wallace announced as he wasted no time and used his Void Phase to arrive in a safe place. He quickly brought out the machine he can use to communicate with Veda.
'I hope that you have a way to deal with this...'
Wallace said in his heart before activating the machine.

It was Ace's job to continue or manage all the production related to the space fleet and VR pods.
Although it wasn't an easy task, it wasn't that complicated because of the A.I.'s assistance. The most that he could do was to make critical decisions and help to create the most critical parts of the machines.
Right now, Ace was working on the strongest weapon that their space fleet could offer. It was not a Mech Frame but the strongest Positron Impulse Cannon he could create.
Through Avalon's complete blueprint, controlled automatons, and Veda's supplies, they have just enough to equip such weapons on eight spaceships.
Haaa...
"I need a little break. Anyway, our progress was doing very well... Veda, do you think that the Empire will arrive here this year?"
Ace suddenly asked the A.I. after he decided to take a quick rest.
[ There's not enough information to make a guess. But if we consider that the barrier of this planet has weakened by a huge margin, then the empire could arrive in a few months up to a couple more years. ]
Ace doesn't really like the idea of fighting the empire at the outer space but since he was already working on the project, he had to ensure that they will have trouble fighting against them.
"Right, I would like to know if you are aware of the Mage Towers built in Montego... I'm thinking of creating one after the Mass Driver that we've planned was made..."
Instead of answering, Veda went silent and Avalon took over the machine it was using to communicate with him. It was easily noticed as the light changes from green to red.
"What happened?" Ace wasn't sure what occurred just now but if Veda just went off like that, there must be some sort of a problem on its side.
It took about half a minute before it answers again.
[ It takes a lot of my processing speed to connect inside the northern continent. ]
"I see... Did you help Wallace?"
[ Just a little. ]

In a world of magic, ruled by many warring races, the human kingdoms are being pushed to the brink of collapse. In a desperate bid to gain the strength to stand on an equal footing with the other nations, they perform a forbidden ritual to summon combat slaves from another dimension. Unluckily for them, Mors Letus, recently named by their world's God of Death, was one of them. **** Warning **** This is a re-release (The Summoned) of the first book I wrote in partnership with my brother (who later forced the story to be pulled (It was released on his account here)). I have started writing my own version of the story (BOM: The Summoned) and will continue to primarily invest in that, though, now I have permission to re-release this one, I plan finish this as I have the drafts and it was close to the end of the first book. Many characters/scenes and events match/Will match BOM: The Summoned, especially in future arc's (Past Flatner forest). If you don't like spoilers, don't want to get confused between the two stories or hate first attempts at writing (god awful grammar/sentence structure and storytelling), I would advise against reading.
