Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 233

Yumi and her group were now inside the aircraft traveling to the northern continent.
Wallace had briefly used his Divine Sense to check its status and learned many things about it
"This seems familiar..."
Yumi heard him mutter as she nodded in agreement.
"This was made by the Veritas Group. You've probably seen their first creation... Do you have a connection with them?"
"Veritas?"
Wallace asked in confusion. Avalon noticed this and kindly reminded him about them.
[ They are the group who accompanied Miya Linus in your town. They have another airship called Veritas Wing. ] *
'I see... Then they probably got successful in their business...'
He was happy that they are gradually advancing the magic technology of this country and this would make his plans a lot easier to be accepted by the people.
Their flight didn't take that long as the aircraft flew as high as 70,000 feet making it undetectable by the radar of several countries.
Also, as far they know, no other countries have developed at this stage yet since they were focusing their finance with other projects like Mage Tower in Montego or top-class automatons in Maja.
In the meantime, Wallace had been monitoring his connection with Avalon.
He was curious whether his A.I. would still be able to connect to his mainframe.
Of course, even if it's not, it would not be much of a problem since he already made preparation with that.
He brought Avalon's terminal that can work without being connected with his mainframe although it will be limited.
In any case, it would be sufficient within this place and if he needed to connect online, Wallace can just ask Veda for a favor.
He was already informed that Veda still has connections at the northern continent but only in few areas.
"We're here..."
Everyone looked outside after Yumi announced their arrival.

Their aircraft was about to land far away from where visitors of the northern continent would normally pass.
It was because their entrance was unwarranted. Anyone who was planning to enter the northern continent must have proper documentations approved by their country's Magician's Association or in Zairus, the Magician's Congress.
'So that was why she used this new model of aircraft...'
Wallace thought of this while the airship stealthily silently descended near a forest they were aiming at.
"Alright. Let's move out..."
This airship won't be safe for too long in this forest. It will leave and return to here once Yumi or the other members have given the signal to be extracted in this place.
In the meantime, it will hide somewhere under the sea as long as it's not too far from the northern continent.
The other members of the crew inside seem to be employed by Veritas Group and will be handling everything related to piloting the aircraft.
"Eh? This place..."
"There's no mana?"
"That's right. That was why we chose this place. Hide your Mana for now and we'll now move using just our physical abilities."
Yumi reminded everyone. She already discussed this with them and everyone was fine with it. All of them had trained their body to some extent and so there shouldn't be a problem for running around for even an entire day.
The place they were at was in the mainland of the northern continent and they have to travel further north as per Elaine's instructions.
Yumi already determined that the path they are trying to traverse has never been explored by the past adventurers. Even the incomplete map she has only have a bit of geographical representation.
There are no notes on what kind of Mana Beast or Mythical Creatures they could encounter. It also means that there is no information about safe places or locations where they can use their mana.

"Mhmm... The connection is getting more vivid. We just need to travel for six or seven more days and we'll probably reach the headmaster's current location..."
Elaine cheerfully reported.
Unfortunately, it would be called the mysterious northern continent if they could just arrive there without any problems.
After all, the main reason that their aircraft could only stay at the edge of this land was because of the unique environment within this place and also the strong creatures living within.
There were also unexplainable things happening here and the dreadful Mana Calamity could naturally occur without any sign or warning.
As they were silently traveling under the cover of the large canopies of trees, they heard a rumble coming not too far from them...
"Below..."
Hannah noticed that everyone was already gazing on the ground before she even speaks. Soon, as if they all planned their action, they jumped away at the same time.
Baam!
A hideous monster appeared in front of them. It was a large worm that doesn't have noticeable eyes. It only has a large mouth with several layers of teeth. There was even a mucus coming in and out of its mouth...
There were no such evil-looking monsters at the southern continent...
No one intends to run away as everyone wanted to gauge their strength. If they would have trouble defeating this monster living at the edge of the land, then they would have no rights about going deeper to this dangerous continent.
Aaarrrgh!
The worm was seemingly disappointed for not catching even one of its prey. It soon launches itself to its next target.
As their group scattered, it can only attack one of them...
This time, it was Yumi who was targeted.
"Careful!"
Elaine said to Yumi but she was referring to the hidden attack of the monster.
Crassshh!
Another sound of an explosion was heard as the tail of the worm tried to attack Yumi on her blind spot while it's head aimed to swallow her whole...
Yumi quickly ducked and moved her feet agilely and distanced herself. Her team members then swiftly moved without saying any more words.
Hannah grasps her blade and lightly injured the worm. Her knife created a small wound but looking at her face. She seems so satisfied with it already.
Wallace assumed that it was poisoned or with something similar.
Clint uses his fist to directly smash a portion of the worm's body while Elaine just merely pointed her hand and the worm stiffened making it an easy target for Wallace.
He decided to deal the finishing blow.
he clenched his fist and gathered some energy.
Astral Core, Activate.
A unique form of energy gathered in his hand and emits a different aura than Mana. His team members felt it but they didn't ask since Wallace might be telling them something for using this technique in this first fight.
"Ha!"
Wallace suddenly appeared on top of the worm, he was like a ghost and sent a powerful punch to finish it off.
Boom!!
It exploded and even the ground below caved in.
The four could not explain how did he manage to do it. They had been unable to follow him even after they raised their awareness to its peak.
"I haven't felt any Mana utilization at all..."
"Impressive... What did I miss? Sister Yumi, did you see that?"
"This..."
Yumi suddenly remembered grandma Thea's words when they first met a Celestial Being in this land.
Those being doesn't possess any Mana and has its own unique form of energy, just like Wallace.
Instead of being scared or anything, Yumi even felt satisfied bringing this man here.
"Celestials, huh..."
