Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 224

Wallace was surprised to hear about Yumi's findings...
"That's very impressive... You managed to determine all of this due to the blood left by the headmaster and the Sealed Mana Artifact that was left?"
Yumi explained that the Heart's Grimoire possesses an unimaginable power before. But after they found it on the battlefield, they realized that aside from the brewing threat of Mana Calamity, there was no longer any danger acquiring the artifact.
"That's right... Luckily, we know someone that was capable of analyzing these Sealed Mana Artifacts..."
"Ho~ Is it difficult to analyze them?"
Wallace asked as Yumi said it like she wasn't working at the NMTI where many outstanding engineers worked at.
He hadn't encountered these Sealed things yet so he was unable to tell their strengths and capability. At most, he can base on the things he read online and the stories told by their instructors at the Academy...
Veda might know something more but Wallace doesn't have time to have good chat with that A.I. yet.
It must be enlightening talking to that knowledgeable A.I.
"Of course! Those are Sealed Mana Artifacts! They were rumored to be parts of a Celestial Being!"
"Parts?"
"That's right. The Heart's Grimoire, Mourning Ear, Hallowed Eye, and Mind's Arm are all Sealed Mana Artifacts and were said to made of a single Celestial Being..."
It was his first time hearing this bit of information so he wasn't sure how to react.
"That doesn't sound pleasant?"
Wallace voiced out his own opinion. He also remembered another Sealed Mana Artifact mentioned to him by his sister Clarice.*
It was a Sealed Mana Artifact capable of dragging people into the user's dream world. It was a scary ability if an injury caused within the dream world will actually become a reality. He remembers that it was called Dream Weaver's Circlet and he was thinking whether it was actually made from the brain of a Celestial Being. But something doesn't seem right...
"Yeah, it doesn't sound pleasant... But that should be the truth... These Artifacts were supposedly created to fight the strongest Mana Beast out there... It was proposed by a powerful organization to be the 6th gen Mana Artifact but all the governments from various countries opposed this method of creating artifacts. That was why aside from them being called as "Sealed" to avoid the Mana Calamity, they were also called like that because it was still not being fully accepted by people."

Wallace went silent after hearing this.
It was still confusing since after the survivors of the first northern continent expedition escaped the land, the first Mana Calamity occurred at the Venarian Town making the whole island afloat.
It was the island where they placed all the things including artifacts they found at the northern continent. That happened about a century ago already.
It was highly probable that a Sealed Mana Artifact was included there causing a Mana Calamity. If not, then aside from these artifacts, there should be more things that could cause a Mana Calamity.
'Sigh~ I should have a chat with Veda about this...'
"Oh, you said that someone was capable of analyzing them? They must be a top tier Arcane Artificer or probably an Arcanist?"
Wallace remembered to ask. After all, there shouldn't be many engineers deserving of Yumi's praise.
"Haha! No! She's an Instructor from your Academy, a licensed Magic Engineer. Her name was Elaine. Do you know her?"
"Ahh... I didn't know she possesses such skills..."
"Well, she specialized in that area... Anyway, I'll be needing your help..."
Wallace already has a map of the northern continent with him and he was also very curious about the place. Unfortunately...
"I want to wait until the job I entrusted to Sir Charles was completed..."
"Really?!" Yumi was excited even after his rejection.
"Huh?"
"Oh! Haha! I thought that you would reject me outright... But since the man only needed to finish his work before we can go then that's fine... I'll be preparing something on my end as well in the meantime..."
Yumi was actually nervous when she invited Wallace. After all, it was just a gamble since the guy was mysterious...
A young student who could defend his house against powerful Adepts and even possibly possesses a Steel Knight hidden somewhere. For someone who could manufacture that kind of technology without the government's knowledge was very impressive. He was also mysteriously connected to the aircraft that was on Araceli Island.
Although she wasn't sure what that thing was, the Z-Company was guarding it with a powerful force.
'Very well.'
After seeing that Yumi was satisfied at this, Wallace turned the topic over the translated book.
"Then, about the book that I've told you to read... What would you do if all of that was real?"

Yumi remembers how the first group of humans that arrived on this planet was preparing their forces to defend against an invasion that will happen in the near future. They even used a powerful concealing technique that covers the whole planet in order to buy them some time.
There are also some clear clarifications about the situation of the northern continent in that book.
Yumi looked at the young man seriously as she didn't hesitate to answer.
"Then we'll send the invaders packing..."
***
Wallace had a quick conversation with Veda confirming the old man's identity and past actions.
After that, Veda was also hurrying him about the plans to purchase land that will be used for manufacturing the space fleet.
"Don't worry, Avalon was handling that. It should be over in a couple of days. We already prepared the money and we're just waiting for the lawyer we hired to get things done."
This temporarily satisfied Veda.
"Avalon, you can also continue your preparation with energy extraction on those Zen Coins once we purchased this whole mountain."
[ Affirmative. ]
Wallace nodded as he relaxed within his room. Yumi has already left the villa as she will also be preparing for the northern continent's expedition.
He was actually looking forward visiting that place ever since Chalice, a member of the Z-Company, hinted that his spaceship was something that can only be found in the northern continent and as a matter of fact, the Flowing Spirit was part of his plan on visiting that land.
After all, he didn't know the dangers hidden in that continent and he wasn't sure how long the expedition would last.
It means that he may not be able to contact his parents or attend classes if that happens.
His other self would be the one resolving that issue.
Wallace was planning that if the second function of the Flowing Spirit was made, he can leave it here and manage all the social requirements he needed while he was roaming the world unhindered.
"Hehehe..."
He couldn't stop grinning thinking about his brilliant idea. He will dump all the tiring work to Veda, Avalon, and to his other body... He will only manage all the critical decisions and the path they have to take.
This would surely lighten his work and he'll be able to focus on things he wanted to do.
With all that in mind, Wallace went to the Mage Doctor's workshop as he let him study his previous body. He already confirmed with Veda that this Doctor's reputation was well known to the aristocrats and will never betray his clients.
Adding to the fact that Wallace was somehow part of the Mavis Clan, he can easily deduce that the old man can at least be trusted.
"So... this is the other body, huh..."
Charles said as he curiously observes the sleeping young man wearing white clothes. It resembles Wallace and only their muscle mass has a difference.
The Doctor's eyes turned blue as he observed the body, the vessel was looking more perfect on his eyes as he couldn't find any impurities on the body and it was even cloaked by a thin layer of energy.
"H-how did you do this? Cloning? Are you already experimenting with human genes? No... Maybe, he is your twin brother? Now that he's dead, you want to..."
The old man was only muttering but Wallace heard it all.
He can guess as much as he wants but Wallace wasn't about to tell him yet. He was planning to tell his secrets to his parents first before he will mention it to others.
"It's a trade secret. But once I've settled everything, I'll let you know..."
Wallace said to keep the old man's hope up. It would be good if the doctor was motivated while working for him.
"Is that true? Then, I'll definitely work hard in this Secret Art!"
"Sure... Eh... By the way, don't think that you can imitate this creation of the body, alright?"
"Don't be so sure. I have many skills I haven't shown yet..."
"But... Oh well, it's up to you. I'll be waiting until you finished learning the Secret Art."
Wallace gave all the information that the doctor needed. Right now, he can only wait until the man does his job.

This story was posted on RR in its entirety before being removed. Magnus Cromwell kills for a living. He’s organized, professional, efficient. Like a machine. But when his family’s life is on the line? That’s something else. It should've been a blue milk run. As by-the-book as it gets. With his sister Nina out safe and the opposition decimated by hypersonic gunfire, MC wondered where they got the guts to even try. Then something hits him. Lays him out cold, and leaves him waking up to a fantasyland with nothing but his armor and a half-written note to guide him. It's a strange place where even stranger predators eye him for their next meal. Where his life’s on a timer, and where the darkest horrors haunt his dreams, painting visions of death. There's no right day to mess with Magnus Cromwell.
