Miya greeted their group with an alluring voice then she continued without waiting for their reply.

"Uhmm. I hope I wouldn't offend you..." Miya trailed her voice as Wallace thought of something.

'This is surely the words before saying something offending...'

"Are you the one who used scanning ability to peek on me?" Sure enough, she was really trying to make him admit. Aside from that, there's an almost untraceable subtle feeling making those who hear her voice thinks that it's only a normal conversation. It felt that everything is fine since she's the one asking.

Yes, there's a feeling that a person affected by this subtle feeling would never get offended to any of her actions.

'Aren't you being too direct on this?' Wallace immediately thought after hearing her ask and feeling her soothing presence in their midst. Anyway, he'll never admit it as he'd just have to be firm.

He sighed inwardly noticing that Elaine and Clarice were only absentmindedly looking at Miya. They didn't seem to be charmed but was instead looking at her dumbfounded.

It seems that Miya was still thinking that they were really affected by her powerful soul. But in fact, the two ladies here actually possessed a level of immunity. Although even Wallace was unsure how they manage to do it, it doesn't matter.

"I'm sorry, you found the incorrect person." He answered after thinking for a while acting as if he was affected.

"Sigh... it doesn't matter then. If ever you found him, I just hope that you tell him not to do that again. It is very inappropriate."

'I'll keep that in mind. You have a magnanimous heart as it seems. Now I feel bad lying.' Wallace thought that Miya either faltered due to his act, convincing her that she might have really made a mistake or she just decided not to deal with it anymore.

"I understand. I'll tell him if I ever found that offender." Wallace said smilingly.

"Ahh... By the way, may I ask why did you guys decide to come to our small town? I doubt that you'll earn a significant amount here." Clarice asked suddenly after Miya went silent.

"Ahhh. Since Miya was still a rookie. We're trying to slowly build up her reputation and we are connected with the Veritas, so we just grabbed this chance. Haha. I hope you can also support her." It was Diana who answered this time. It wasn't a secret so she just mentioned their plan.

"Of course, we will do so."

"We'll also be looking forward to your performances in the future."

"That's right. I'll surely buy a ticket once you decided to make your first concert."

"Thank you! You guys are so kind. Uhmmm... I still have something else to do, so..."

"Right, we also have to go. We'll be boarding the airship later on."

After Diana heard that Wallace's group will be boarding the airship, she immediately recalled the security rules, magic formation, and arrays that were within the flying ship.

Although it was already hinted by Elaine when she invited them to the building for a meal, she didn't keep it in her mind as she was confident before about Guinevere's arrays.

Luckily, Miya easily understood Diana and even blurted out that she'll be performing within the airship to make it more believable.

Miya had truly thought of giving up on pursuing the case about Wallace's attempt to peek on her. But since Diana made an effort to make Wallace admit, then she could only comply as she started it anyway.

"It's alright. It will be a worthwhile effort. This Veritas Airship wasn't as simple as it looks. Although it doesn't have a powerful barrier or great offensive power, its arrays and formations were top notches in this country. But really, you shouldn't have said that you'll be performing there, you know?"

"Sigh. I was just startled at your words. You could've told me first. Anyway, I'll just sing one. It shouldn't be that much."

"Right, I'll be coordinating with Alex now to prepare for your performance. We have to make sure that the sound system and stage were properly arranged."

Although their team doesn't have plans to make some performances during their trip here, they were always prepared in this kind of situation

It was already time to board the airship. Wallace's group waited for their turn to board as they pass the security measures prior to boarding the airship.

"Wow! It's so huge!" Claire gasped after closely seeing the Veritas Airship.

"I know right, it looks small when it was stationary up there."

"Hmmm... That's true and with its exquisite carves, it looks like a luxury ship. They really spent a lot just to decorate this thing."

"Well, their fees were certainly expensive. So this just fits the price, I suppose." Wallace mumbled. They were waiting for all the 50 passengers to board the ship.

They were all gathered on the spacious deck as one of the officers got their attention.

"Hello, everyone. I'm Alex, the vice-captain of the Veritas Wing, the very first airship in our country that could sustain flight for three whole days without any rest!

In today's trip, we'll be experiencing the airship's uniqueness! We'll be flying around the Star Region to view several of the beautiful landmarks within our very own region. We'll surely give you the best spot to view the famous mountains, lakes, and cities. Yes! We'll be flying in Blue Feather Town's direction and get near to the Kamin Range before returning here." The vice-captain announced as he further mentioned the places they will visit.

The Kamin Range was only a 100-kilometer narrow mountain range that separates their Star Region to Stella Region. Their Red Star Town was actually near the edge of the region and thus, Wallace's effort to study at Tanza City which was on the other side of the region was commendable.

After all, there were still several small academies like the ones within the nearest Cove City.*

Wallace just decided not to attend there as although Leonhearts Academy wasn't known to be the best place to study Artifact Forging, they were still better and should have a better chance of getting a license.

Before Wallace enrolled in Leonhearts Academy, he had read that the academy has an average 87% passing rate in licensure examinations during the past years.

"Also... For this first trip, we will be graced by the rising star, singer, and songwriter, Miya Linus!"

This time, all the passengers aboard applauded after Alex finished his speech. They were surprised for Miya's special appearance thinking that it might be the reason for their expensive fee just for the chance of boarding the airship.

After all, if they boarded a plane from Cove City to Dolu, the capital city, it would only cost them three to four thousand credits. With Miya's presence, they would have a chance to see her up close. It's a chance. They were sure that someday, this girl would be very popular and so, they have to grab this opportunity now while they could still easily meet her.

On the other hand, Wallace was thinking of something else.

'To think that they'll even confiscate any Mana Artifacts. It seems that they're really not giving up.' Wallace was sure that the security shouldn't be this tight. Normally, after checking the name and records of a Mana Artifact, the securities will only be using a special material to be attached to the passenger's Mana Artifact. It will be used to closely monitor the Magic Structures of a Mana Artifact and alarm them if there's any Spell Invocation.

But now, they took all Mana Artifacts for safekeeping during the trip. Wallace was cool with it as all his Mana Artifacts were in his dimensional storage space. Anyway, only Clarice's silver wristband and Claire's brooch was confiscated. For some reason, the ring in her mother's finger wasn't detected whatsoever. He remembered that during his 'dream', this was used in coordination with his father's ring to activate a powerful suicidal spell.

'Well, this should be Miya's final attempt.' Wallace thought as he would do something if ever they still wouldn't stop.

As the ship flew the vast land, he heard the gentle voice of the beautiful Celebrity Idol.

"Oh, miracles are not by chance;

they are the fruits of our labor,

and so, whatever darkness we are in,

we'll have a beautiful dream..."

As Wallace was listening to the song, he received notifications from his A.I.
