Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 102

Wallace had been observing the battle outside using his Divine Sense and as soon as the spherical glass covering the area of his spaceship was shattered, an aura that was being suppressed for a long time spread out of the whole island even affecting the docked enemy's ship.
Wallace could only guess at the origin of the aura. He immediately noticed that the two Adepts fighting Yumi had been prepared and used a special Mana Artifact to barely defend themselves.
The other two Adepts who went outside to deal with aerial bombardment had returned as well upon noticing the situation, they had luckily witnessed the scene where Yumi sent an attack to the glass so they made it in time in activating their defense, unlike Chalice who had no idea what was about to come so he was lightly injured.
"W-what have you done?!" Raul shouted at Yumi who had lost her consciousness due to the heavy pressure of the aura.
"Capture her! Make sure she wouldn't have a chance to suicide!" One of the two Adepts who was about to approach them instructed.
The blue-robed Adept was about to step in and grab Yumi who was lying down on the ground but suddenly heard a mechanical sound and wind puffing out from the aircraft.
"No way..."
The four of them were definitely surprised. They had spent decades studying the aircraft and even tried to destroy it as they were unable to open this huge aircraft. They couldn't even damage the aircraft as if it was coated by some kind of energy they had never seen before.
That energy had been protecting it for these years thus, they were not able to move the aircraft. They had tried it on the human figure on the ground but that even took them several years just to get a small chunk of weird material to make the Cryptic Link Serum after diluting it. Luckily, the energy protecting the human figure had a thinner layer of foreign energy, so they had made progress on this.
They had been expecting that within 5 more years, the magicians who had consumed this serum would have an easier time destroying the protective energy. Unfortunately, it seems that all their plan had been messed up. They had been peacefully studying this thing for over two decades that they had been complacent on their defenses and this ambush had been allowed to happen under their leadership.

They stopped what they were doing and felt quite nervous about what was about to happen. Is there a foreign being living inside the ship or Chalice's instinct was right? Was the man Chalice fought a few days ago had somehow entered the spaceship without their knowledge?
Everyone stood on their ground holding their breath waiting for what was about to happen. They made sure their defense was at its peak and even maximized their senses so as not to miss any movement from the aircraft.
Soon, they saw a humanoid being that resembles Chalice's description.
They didn't speak or even asked questions that were bugging their mind. They wanted to know if this person is hostile to them. Who knows? That foreign being might think favorably with them after taking care of his aircraft for years.
'If that was the same person Chalice fought with, how did that enter the ship without notice?'
'I can't feel any Mana Fluctuation. Is it the same as the aircraft?'
If that were the case, it would be a problem. The magic engineers stationed here hadn't created an artifact capable of sensing the unusual energy yet. The humanoid being was blocking their scan like how they were unable to penetrate the defenses of the aircraft.
The four Adepts looked at each other as confirming their next step. They wanted to get close to this being, wait for him to loosen his guard, capture him, tie him up, and answer all their questions.
The blue-robed Adept who was closest to the foreign being gathered his courage and tried to communicate as smoothly as he can.
"I'm Rashid Al-bandar. We are officials from the Geneva Palace of Montego. How may I address you?"
They had waited for a bit but the being did not answer and only walked out of the same ship. The hatch hadn't close yet so they tried peaking using the best of their ability but to no avail. The place was extremely black as if space itself was inside the aircraft.
"To think that we can't even see the things inside even if it was opened in front of us. Just what in the hell are we dealing with?"
"Stay calm, he doesn't seem to be hostile yet."
"That's right, based on Chalice's description of the event, he had attacked this being first. So maybe, this foreign being was only defending himself and was a peaceful being who hates fighting."

"Dream on."
The two Adept farthest to the site had been silently conversing as they prepared to take action any moment that the being decided to clash with them.
Rashid was a bit annoyed after being ignored by the humanoid foreign being. He could only try again but if this still fails, he would take an action and have this alien down on the ground. He was a proud Adept and wherever he goes, he was being highly respected and regarded even by nobles in the society of Magicians.
"We would like to invite you to the palace on behalf of our King. We have been taking care of this relic for over two decades now. I hope you can consider this." Rashid doesn't know how to address this alien so he was being careful not to immediately invite any hostility when he spoke.
After not hearing a response, he consulted again with other Adepts as they readied themselves to forcefully apprehend the foreign entity.
"I gave you a chance but you continue to ignore me." Rashid muttered and quickly threw his prepared attacks to Wallace and jump away to gain more distance. Wallace's armor doesn't seem to have a long-ranged weapon so they expected him to fight in close range. It was also to their advantage if the fight was like that as they were experts in sustained emission of Mana Spells from their Mana Artifact. Aside from him, the other three Adepts also attacked Wallace.
But something unexpected happened. The spell dissipated even without visible defense was used.
"Is it the same energy used by the aircraft?"
"No, the dissipation has similarity with the Magic Jammer. But it happened so fast. Hmm... I'm not too sure."
"Hmph! Just continue your attacks until his jammer couldn't nullify it anymore."
Of course, Wallace didn't remain standing there and attacked on his own.
They only saw that the foreign entity threw a small object at Rashid. It happened very fast as Wallace's physical strength was enhanced by the Armor.
Rashid didn't dare to catch the mysterious object nor tried manipulating his Mana Shell to defend against it. He could only dodge as he had a bad feeling about it.
As soon as the small object reached Rashid's position, the object curiously remained floating and started to suck in surrounding air and dust. It seems a vacuum has appeared five meters in the radius of the object. Shortly afterward, when its vacuum mode reaches the critical stage, a void explosion occurred destroying anything within its range. A clear spherical hallow appeared on the ground and blood was splattered on it.
"Rashid!"
Unfortunately, Rashid's left arm was sucked during vacuum mode and he had been unable to do anything but wait for the implosion. The cut was so clean as if it was done by the sharpest blade.
"That's definitely a foreign type of bomb. It has similarity with a Vacuum Decapitator, a high-rank Wind Magic Spell."
"Tsk! That's right. But it doesn't have any Mana at all. It seems to be an advanced technology to me than Magic. Look at that, the guy seems to possess more of those."
Raul pointed at the hand of Wallace who was holding three more similar-looking objects.
"B-be careful... Once you were caught by the vacuum, you won't be able to extract yourself from it." Rashid said after applying pressure to his left arm to stop the bleeding. His face was a bit pale due to his pain and blood loss.
Wallace threw two more of those objects which made them extremely attentive to the surroundings but they seem to have different effects.
The first one created a blazing sphere of blue fire making them jump back and creating more space between Wallace and the four. The second seems to attack all four of them with an explosion of shrapnel.
Baaam!!
It seems to be a normal grenade from their military forces but its power was multiplied by about five times and the shrapnels seem to be even more dangerous.
They easily fended it off but they noticed that the alien had covered for the little girl and took her in his arms and was about to be brought inside the spaceship.
"Crap! Stop him!"
They had widened their distance due to their precaution and previous attacks. Now, it proved to be an incorrect decision.

Sage ▸ Stiles Stilinski [Book One]
"You do realize that I'm supposed to tell you when you're throwing yourself into a dangerous situation and that doing this will probably get you killed, right?" "I don't need you to take care of me, Sage." "Says the werewolf that fell into the floor." Sage Connelly was notoriously known for the fire that killed her entire family when she was only ten years old. Granted, that name held importance for an entire year before people eventually forgot about the Connelly's and the other family involved in the fire, the Hale's. Nearly six years later, when the little girl is not so little anymore, Sage comes back with more than just a leather jacket hanging on her shoulders. She comes back with a personality distinctly different from what her old friends remembered, not only stunning Jackson Whittemore into silence but efficiently taking away Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski's ability to talk about the dead body found in the woods the night before. Even more, the bite on Scott's body that held an importance only two people in town could help him with: Sage, to her dismay, was one of them. When Derek Hale calls upon her help, giving her the title of Scott McCall's personal babysitter, she's inevitably forced to tag along with the boy's trusty side-kick. The introverted and overly, well, intimidating qualities that the blonde had lead Stiles Stilinski into an unfathomable struggle of convincing himself that Sage Connelly was just a crush, and that Lydia Martin would forever be the one holding his heart. That lasted as long as the one-way conversation the boy had with the strawberry blonde in the middle of a hospital. His downward spiral leads him directly into the arms of a stubborn, damn blonde that was confident she didn't need a boy in her life that was still tripping over an elementary school crush.
