Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 101

Yumi had been observing the place as she tried to find some traces of Wallace coming here but couldn't find any, aside from few Mana traces they found outside the dome.
Despite that, her intuition told him that he was somewhere here, hiding, and waiting for a chance to escape. She noticed an aircraft at the center of this place being guarded by four Adepts but they didn't seem to have a plan on leaving the place to deal with the diversion, not even one.
"Is that what he was looking for in here? Tsk! This is taking too much time. At this rate, Owl and Eagle may not last long enough." Yumi grumbled a bit but still tried to remain calm in this situation. She looked somewhere else to make sure she didn't miss any place or facility within the dome and this aircraft in the middle was the only place left.

Wallace had already used his Divine Sense as he probed the situation outside. He noticed a familiar young girl sneaking around as she observed the four Adepts.
"Eh? She has the same Mana fluctuation with Yumi." Wallace paused for a bit as he realized what happened in the past days.
"A puppet? Or is that one of her magic abilities?" Wallace pondered for a moment but immediately shook his head. Puppetry was elementary magic where a magician had to use his talent in control or manipulation of Mana to move inanimate objects. Of course, this would result in him detecting the same Mana fluctuation of the caster but this case was different. There's no trace of someone controlling the young girl.
If that is really magic, then his years of learning in the Academy would all seemed like a lie. Based on what he was taught by his teachers, instructors, and books, magic was only 'made' because of how the engineers created a mana artifact where Mana Practitioners would be capable of using it as a medium to convert Mana into different elements. That was the first time the Mana Practitioners were called 'Magicians'.
Although it had already improved due to the persistent effort of several magic engineers, it doesn't deviate from the fact that there should be no magic capable of changing a human body's structure at this level, unless it was the rumored Lost Magic Technology.

He had never thought that Hani was also Yumi due to their contradiction. It seems that the merging with the Cube had affected his current Divine Sense as he had successfully bypassed her unknown concealment technique capable of nullifying his previous Divine Sense. He couldn't be wrong about the feedback coming from his Divine Sense so he could only accept the fact.
"To think that there's magic like this in her arsenal. Very impressive, this is definitely useful for me. I hope that I could learn it as well or I should ask her to teach that to me someday." Wallace shook his head as his thoughts wandered away from his priorities.
He took a deep breath as he tried to ascertain Yumi's purpose.
"Are they trying to find me here? It seems that they traced me up to this place. Her skills were really amazing. But what should I do with the ship? There's still a long time before the Pathfinder completed the merge and could help me." Wallace pondered as he glanced at the remaining weapons within the spaceship.
There's a single Mech Frame, Enhanced Rifle Guns, Bio-Armours, Laser Blades, and several types of bombs. He was also currently equipped with his Amplified Assault Armor, Silver Orb, and Fervor Timepiece.
Wallace was staring at the container where the small bombs were placed. It was safely placed underneath the container where the bio-armors were placed.
"I have four types of bomb here with 20 pieces each."
He was planning to assist Yumi as Wallace couldn't just leave her alone. He quickly decided on what to do as he noticed that the two companions of Yumi fighting with Chalice was barely holding on.
He took four bombs out of the container before he readied himself in opening the hatch of the spaceship.
He closed his eyes as he observed the events occurring outside using his Divine Sense. He was waiting for an opportunity before he can take action.
"Avalon, open it up! Quickly close it once I sent you the signal."

Yumi's patience bore fruit as the two Adept Mage guarding the place started to approach the opened portion of the dome.
They have prepared several plans for this operation and it seems that her team outside decided to use one of them due to the urgency of the situation.

'They've called for aerial bombardment. This should give us more opportunity.' Yumi said in her mind as she felt the tremor coming from the aerial attacks of the Lucent Force.
They came from the team that was standing by outside the island. Yumi's team of six not only left them outside to be used as one of their escape route in case things go south but also for this type of situation to help as reinforcements.
"Wallace's Float Drive System can really be handy at this time." Yumi praised Wallace's creation that made the current aerial bombardment possible. The utilization of these types of assistive Mana artifacts can only be fully shown in the hands of experts like the Lucent Force.
As soon as the two Adepts reached the edge of the dome, Yumi started to take action.
"I can't be wrong, Wallace was definitely in that aircraft."
Yumi concluded as she got even closer to the center.
She immediately prepared for battle because once she reached a certain distance from the remaining two Adepts, she'll definitely be noticed so it was better to sneak attack and quickly immobilize at least one of them.
The young girl took out a small dagger in black color from it handles up to its blade.
As soon as she utilized her Mana to propel herself to the nearest Adept wearing a blue robe, she was quickly noticed by the two and they subconsciously activated their defense. The farthest Adept in purple robe even released a quick counterspell in an attempt to distract Yumi.
Unfortunately, Yumi was extremely focused on taking down the Adept and did not react on the quick spell cast by the other Adept Mage. She just quickly approached her target and as soon as she was two meters away, she threw the black dagger in full force.
"Haaa!" Yumi shouted as the dagger was engulfed with black flames and pierced through the Mana Shell of the blue-robed Adept.
Clang!
A sound of metal was heard as the dagger collided with another metal defense. The blue-robed Adept soon revealed his armored body.
"Hey, little girl. That's pretty dangerous."
At the same time, the small Mana Force thrown by the other Adept reached Yumi. The latter only waved her hand before it dissipated.
"Hey, old man. I'm not done yet."
Yumi was actually disappointed about the failed surprise attack due to his enemy's armor but she still smirked as the two Adept started to position themselves for a counter-attack.
"Raul, I'll handle the girl. This can be just another distraction, just stay on your guard. Don't let anyone approach that." The blue-robed said as he was also quite curious how this girl got this close without their knowledge. 'It would be a problem if there's more of them hiding.'
"I understand, but I'll still send support magic, so quickly finish it." Raul said unhurriedly, he was confident about his companion's skills so he wasn't worried that Yumi could do any more damage now that both of them can see her.
The two Adept fought Yumi but the young girl seems to be too difficult to catch as they can't land an attack on her. Soon they noticed something wrong.
"Crap! Don't let her use her magic anymore, the glass will be destroyed!" Raul shouted but it was too late.
Yumi grinned at this as she sent her full force to destroy the spherical glass containing the aircraft.
But she had never thought that it would create such an unexpected incident. As soon as the glass shattered, a monstrous aura came out and spread even outside of the island.
The Lucent Force bombarding from the sky fell. Chalice kneeled on the ground, dizzy, and unable to move. Owl and Eagle that was thrown away by Chalice were still a bit better due to their maximized defense, they were actually waiting for an attack from Chalice but it was shattered the moment that mysterious aura was released. Luckily, they had good timing on their release of magic defense. The guards near the dome with low-level magic achievement stationed had completely passed out.
***
At the edge of the island where an amphibious assault ship was docked, a similar event occurred. Everyone inside had also felt the pressure coming from the center of the island and some ordinary humans passed out due to the pressure.
"T-that can't be... this aura..." Mark Halevey, who was resting inside his cabin stuttered on his words as he realized the source of aura he had felt. It was the same horrific aura when he consumed the Cryptic Link Serum.
