Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 16

Wallace took out the silver sphere inside the Artifact Forging Box and observed it for a while. People may think why would a device specializing with canceling magic jammer requires a 4th gen magic structure inside. Why can't we just input the 5th gen magic structure itself on the artifact which can be activated by magicians by pouring mana into it? Is the addition of the 4th gen really required?
After Wallace poured mana in the artifact and triggered its mechanism, the silver sphere split open again at the centre. But this time, a blue wave of light started to undulate from the centre of the sphere. This wave actually covered the whole room he was in.
Wallace smiled upon seeing this. The cover of the canceller was larger than he expected. It should be about 50 meters radius. He checked the opened sphere and looked at the 4 sides where 3 empty slot were laid, as the 4th slot was occupied by the Jax stone, where the 5th gen magic structure was placed.
The 3 empty slot was obviously in consideration for future upgrades of this sphere. It meant that the three 5th gen magic structure could still be placed to further improve the ability of the mana artifact's user. Wallace still had some plans for this.
Due to the high complexity of the Magic Jammer Canceller, the whole crystal was occupied by only this one magic structure. It didn't possess auxiliary magic skills like how other magic structure had. The 3 available slots would be used to solve this problem.
"I will register the mana structure name as Magic Jammer Canceller. Hmm.. but for this new mana artifact. I shall call it... The Silver Egg.. it doesn't sound appropriate.. Sphere of Magic? Mana Sphere? Silver Orb?
"Naming is too hard, I'll just call you Silver Orb."

Standard combat magicians should be capable of multitasking 2 mana artifact at the very least. This Silver Orb, once fully equipped with four 5th gen magic structure could still be treated as one mana artifact with the arrangement that Wallace made.
Apparently, magic engineers here focused more on studying better 5th gen magic structures. The study of material advancement wasn't keeping up. So Wallace also had plans for some technological advancement here, but it would all depend on if he could successfully retrieve the spaceship in good condition. He required the assistance of the A.I. in the spaceship for further development.
Although he was genetically enhanced, it was his previous body who achieved it. During the soul merge or reincarnation in his current body, only the enhanced intelligence and knowledge was carried over. But it had its limits so he would be needing the spaceship's A.I.
This was another thing that Wallace was trying to look into, as he wasn't quite comfortable with how weak this body was. Even though he had magic with him, he would only feel more safe if his physical strength could keep up. The Body Strengthening potion he consumed before had given him a hope for his further physical improvement.
After naming his mana artifact, he heard a familiar sound of notification in his mind.
[ Congratulations User! You have successfully created your very first mana artifact!
Pathfinder will analyze the grade of your mana artifact. ]
Ding!
[ The Pathfinder has graded the artifact based on this world's standard.
Your mana artifact received a Grade A evaluation!
You will now receive your reward. ]
[ Potion of Divine Sense
A potion containing the mysterious origin. Consuming this will allow the person to have divine sense. ]
The description wasn't helpful at all. He could just vaguely guess its effects for now based on its name. He did not consume it immediately as he was aware that something could happen to his body once he drank the potion. It would be best if he drank it once he was in his apartment.

Wallace cleaned the forging room before he left. It was already 6:30 in the evening when he was done and only a couple of students and some guards stationed at the Academy could be seen.
He was now in his apartment and already done eating his dinner as based on his experience. Last time, he slept until the next day before waking up after consuming the potion. In case he fell asleep again, he made sure to be ready this time.
He uncapped the bottle and consumed the black liquid inside. He felt that after drinking this, he would further improve himself, leading him closer to his goal.
Gulp! gulp!
After consuming it, he felt pain in his head and his brain. He also felt his body to be oversensitive for a few seconds before it calmed down. A lot of information was coming into his brain. Luckily, Wallace was already on his bed when he consumed the potion, and when he fell unconscious, he was just laying there on his bed.
A week later...
Ring! Ring! A sound of a mobile device rang.
A middle-aged looking man was reading a newspaper as per his usual habit every morning. He drank his coffee from time to time as he read the news.
His black long hair was still a bit wet as it seemed that he just came out from the bath and he was wearing a blue robe covering his finely build tanned body. But his aura and charisma could not be hidden.
He picked up his device and looked for the name of the caller before answering.
"Hello, Yumi my cousin. Isn't it a bit too early to drink?"
"I'm not calling for a drink! Tsk. I just want you to look something for me in your Academy."
A female voice was heard on the other end of the line.
"Haha! I'm just kidding. Of course, what can I do?"
"I know you are the new headmaster of Leonhearts Academy, Sir Percival. It seems one of your students there submitted an interesting magic structure for evaluation here. You may want to take a look at this."
"Oh? An original magic structure? Is there something odd on the structure?"
"Not really, it's just a bit complicated. Well, this structure can't be made public."
"Hmmm.. What did my student here created?"
"It's something you've been looking for. Hehe. Meet me at eight at my office. I'll explain more once we've met."
"Can't you just answer me now? Sigh. Alright then, but who is this student in question?"
"Wallace Ravencroft."
