Magical Academy: Rise Of The Supreme Magic Craftsman Chapter 14

Wallace carefully grasped a bottle of potion in his hand. He had already received a necklace which was able to enhance his mind. Now he received something that would improve his physical body. He wondered what other rewards he could get from the Pathfinder.
Well, he would most likely continuously receive mission until he reached his designated goal opted in Pathfinder. He uncapped the bottle and unhesitatingly drank the blue liquid it contained.
Wallace felt sleepy. He groaned as his mind tried to oppose his body that was feeling weak. He didn't want to sleep as he was planning to make arrangements for his magic structure.
The video of the fight he watched this afternoon gave him some inspiration for his plans in the future. He had a lot of ideas for a mana artifact he would like to create but his aim, for now, was to create an artifact with a ground-breaking magic structure to allow him to participate in the Twelve Magic Academies Competition. The reason was simple, once he at least reached the top 3 in the Artifact Forging section of the competition, he would be invited to another competition which would be held on the island nation of Montego.
Yes, his real aim was to go to that island nation to have a chance to retrieve his spaceship and check out his 'body' there, if there was one. He had already checked their academy's library and other sources online and the most plausible location where the spaceship could have landed was on the southern part of the nation. Coincidentally, the yearly magic competition by the joint countries of Maja, Montego, Zairus, and Virgan would be hosted by the nation of Montego.
This was the real reason he wanted to have enough ability. Topping the upcoming competition was not an easy hurdle and he had to prepare considerably.

Wallace wasn't able to fight his drowsiness and fell asleep on his bed. It was the next day when he woke up and he felt hungry as he had not eaten any food last night. His stomach grumbled and he ate a granola bar he found in his bag.
It was at this time that he felt some changes in his physique. He felt his muscles to be a bit firmer.
"Oh, maybe a few more of that potion and I'll get my previous physique into this body."
His previous body was genetically enhanced by the most advanced technology of human civilization and it was obviously much stronger than his current one.
His current body although in a very good condition, it was only in this world's standard. He was a magician after all. As someone who was practicing magic, it was normal to have a weaker body but a stronger mind. Apparently, controlling mana relied on the human brain rather than the human body. There were even some theories that controlling mana was instead dependent on the strength of the soul. Unfortunately, it could not be proven as the soul was still a bit too much for the human to study.
Wallace readied himself to go to the academy. It only took him a few minutes to prepare and leave the apartment.
He went to the academy and the day passed as normal. His class lessons proceeded without any unusualness.
In the afternoon, he reported at the student council as he was told to come. He was aware anyway that being a member of the student council entailed some responsibilities. Aaron did not ask him to do much but he was told that more task will be given to him when the TMAC was about to start. He was only told to familiarize himself with events being held at the Academy, mana artifacts commonly used by the ethic officers. As a student attending Artifact Forging class, he was asked to check the academy's artifacts in the warehouse that were being given to the officers for usage, and if that required maintenance or even replacement, he would have to notify the president to make a request for it. This allowed him as well to better his understanding of these commercialized artifacts.

Every time that he got some opportunity, he would always try to program or make arrangements on his magic structure.
A week had passed and he had now completed the magic structure he had been working on. Unfortunately, it required some special material. He would not be able to procure it with his current status and could only ask his parents for possible solutions. Luckily, they were able to help him and he was told to wait for a few days for an answer. Once he acquired the material, he would then be able to start forging his own mana artifact.
Five more days had passed but still no news from his parents. He was feeling a bit impatient and worried.
Although that was the case, he instead received another mission after visiting the library that day.
[ You have received enough knowledge to create your very own artifact.
Mission: Create your first mana artifact that is befitting your desire.
Rewards will depend on the Grade of artifact you have created.
Grade C - x5 Mystery Box
Grade B - x3 Random Memory Crystal
Grade A - x1 Potion of Divine Sense ]
Wallace was surprised about this and felt happy knowing that he would receive rewards by creating his own artifact. He had not expected this mission from the Pathfinder and was very interested in the possible rewards shown. He accepted the mission and contacted his parents again to ask for any news instead of just waiting as he emphasized how badly he needed it.
It seemed that it was effective as 3 days after that, a box was delivered to his apartment. At last, he received the required material for his magic structure. He apologized in his mind to his parents as it seemed like he nagged at them to procure this, he thought that he would repay them in the future.
Today was on weekend so there were no classes. Wallace, as a member of the student council, was able to borrow a better Artifact Forging Box. He was in the forging room to create his own mana artifact. He was preparing to make his own mana gathering formation and mana stabilization array as he could only borrow the forging box.
After he finished setting up. It was time to start forging equipment from the materials he received. He was not only planning to use his own magic structure for the mana artifact but he wanted to create his own equipment as well.
"Alright, let's begin."
