e As was the case always, once these two people were together, they would often forget their surroundings. As Xie Eun was pulled closer to Yu Seok to deepen the kiss, she forgot that there might be someone who would be watching them and gave in to their need. Xie Eun had only wanted to make a point to Nora that her childish games would make no difference to her relationship with her husband. She could not have expected that this scene would only instigate Nora and make her more obsessed.

Nora, who had just been about to greet Yu Seok with an excited face, froze on the screen. Her fingers clenched and her eyes breathed fire as jealousy roared through her. That was supposed to be her place! She was the one who was supposed to be in his lap! Even as this girl still struggled to be his equal, Nora believed that she was already on par with him and the only one who deserved to be with him, stand by his side. The false fawning of the Bank executives and Board of Directors had gone on to fan the flames of her misconception and sense of superiority.

Inappropriately, Nora continued to watch the scene instead of a decent person who would immediately disconnect the call when seeing such a flagrant scene. Nora shamelessly continued to watch as the man's fingers clenched over the woman's hips and he seemed to be bringing her closer. The passion with which Yu Seok held her was a testament to his real personality, a direct contradiction to his otherwise cold personality.. Nora felt her throat dry up, as she started to imagine it was her in Xie Eun's place. She remembered the warm feel of him and the strong muscles when she had fallen over him after the meeting today.. An obsessive fire started to burn within Nora as she lost all her objective reasoning. She looked at the woman's body in his arms, comparing it to hers and found Xie Eun lacking in this department too. When the screen suddenly turned blank, Nora had promised herself that soon she would be in that woman's place.

Thankfully, Xie Eun seemed to remember what she had done and so breaking off the kiss, she closed the laptop suddenly and then turned to Yu Seok, "Do the work in the morning." Even though they had just satisfied each other's needs, Yu Seok followed Xie Eun as if being led by a Pied Piper.

Early the Next Morning:

Xie Eun woke up a little early to a cold bed. Glancing at the time, she realized that Yu Seok must have woken really early because they had hardly had a few hours of sleep. Washing her face, she walked to the library with heavy feet and quietly pulled along the chair to sit by his side. Before he could protest, Xie Eun silenced him with a finger on his lips and picked up a file with some pending evaluations. The two people worked side by side so that as a result the work that was initially supposed to take a few hours was completed in a couple of hours. At seven in the morning, Xie Eun stretched her arms high up and leaned over and laid her head on his shoulder.

"Sigh, hubby! We are finally done."

Pulling his wife to him, Yu Seok rubbed her shoulders and kissed her on the forehead, "Thank you my wifey! For rescuing me from this paperwork."

Grinning, she beckoned him closer and announced, "I have a selfish reason for that." before pointing to her stomach which growled as if calling out for help.

Rolling his eyes, Yu Seok tweaked her nose, asking, "What would you like to eat, your highness?"

But this time Xie Eun shook her head. "Uh huh! This time I don't want you to make anything for me! This time you have to teach me.."

Apprehensively, remembering the many moments of his wife's clumsiness, Yu Seok agreed to teach his wife how to cook a few basic dishes. Though he was tempted to extract a promise from to never enter the kitchen alone without supervision.

Shaking his head, he seived the flour into a bowl and instructed his student to add the water slowly to make a firm dough.. In the next moment, the sound of his phone ringing could be heard and thus he walked out...

And thus as soon as his back was turned, Xie Eun proceeded to add more water to the dough trying to make it into a dough but succeeding in making it look more like a puddle. As if this was not pitiful enough, frustrated at not being able to get the right consistency, she hit her own forehead in frustration, resulting in having the flour smeared all over her face. This is turn made her groan in frustration and angrily, she placed the bowl on the kitchen counter with a huff. However, since the universe was conspiring against her learning to cook, the bowl tipped so that the entire contents of the flour paste were now on Xie Eun. And this was the scene that Yu Seok came back to. Controlling his urge to laugh at his wife, Yu Seok gave a very grave frown which caused Xie Eun to see through him and understand that she was being laughed at. Angrily, she stomped her foot like an eight year old and whined, "Yu Seok!"

Covering his lips with his fingers he muttered, "What?"

This caused Xie Eun to narrow her eyes and with a hmpf, an egg was thrown at Yu Seok. Missing it by an inch, Yu Seok ran to his errant wife and held her in his arms, rubbing her against him. Before she could understand his reasons, Yu Seok was as 'soilt' as she was. Happy now? Xie Eun looked at her own messy clothes and then his before giggling, finding the situation extremely funny. But in the next moment, she pouted and complained, "But I failed miserably at making a dough."

Shaking his head, Yu Seok gathered another bowl and this time held his wife's hand as they slowly kneaded the dough together.. and then proceeded to make the dumplings together. while ruining the entire kitchen in the process.

While these two people had a fun filled morning, Nora too had woken up with an excitement of the day ahead. Dancing to the beat of, "I'm a bomb' ,she prepared her self for the meeting at noon. She was going to have a meal with Yu Seok today. She wondered and practiced how she was going to ask him out. She had arranged this meeting after really careful planning and she needed to proceed with caution. From being careful about instigating her grandfather to manipulating the people who had prior arrangements with Yu Seok so that she would have the time she wanted available, everything had gone smoothly. After a long sensuous bath, Nora chose an off white colored silk camisole and a deep blue jacket and a short blue skirt. The clothing style was impeccable and one could see the success radiating from her persona. Carefully spraying the Chanel Grand Extrait perfume, she put on a lightly seductive makeup as she hummed a song. After the long morning routine of prepping herself, Nora donned her heels and was ready to take on the day. Since calming down after the episode of last evening, Nora had understood one thing, she had underestimated her nemesis. That woman had purposely arranged the scene for her to see. That woman must have seen the mark on Yu Seok's shirt and this is what she had answered with. Fine. It was only a matter of time before she had what she wanted. Because there was never a time when she did not get what she wanted. And it was because of her faith, she was sure that Yu Seok had returned. She had known him first, waited for him longer and loved him the longest.. It made no difference as to who the woman in his life was at present. She had been the first woman and she would be the last. Even as she went to the office, she was planning the meal they would have during the day..

But just as she was about to reach her office, she received a panicked call from Yu Seok's assistant, "Madam, former assistant Cheng Mo has returned to his position a few days ago and he is now the one handling the Chairman's meetings. I have just received instructions that your meeting will have to be pushed back to after lunch because the Chairman sir has some urgent matters to attend to."

Her voice turning cold, Nora questioned the junior assistant but received no helpful reply.. Angrily, her phone was thrown away harshly in a fit of anger. Clenching her fingers, Nora vowed," I will not give up so easily. Picking up the spare phone, she called her grandfather and complained, "Grandfather, Alpha Group needs a warning! It seems they do not want to collaborate.."
