Xie Eun dragged herself home from the office with a sad face. The weather today was really gloomy and though she usually liked rains, today she was finding it too bothersome. Getting in, she slumped on the couch and just lay back. She wondered if this was the mood swing that everyone talked about, that she was supposed to have during her pregnancy. She looked down at her stomach which was soon going to bulge up and spoke to her baby, "Little bean.. are you in a bad mood and that is why I am feeling so down? Don't be sad okay! Daddy will be here soon and then we will have fun. Anyway, what do you think of Mama's plan.. I am going to pester your father to teach me how to cook. So that we can eat healthy even when your father is tired from work. Beanie, are you going to like mama's cooking? I doubt I can be as good as your daddy."

Xie Eun could feel her mood improving as she spoke to her little bean. She smiled a bit and wondered at what the doctor had said about caring for her food. Yu Seok, who had always been on the look out for her had started to care more for her. Sometimes Xie Eun could hardly wait for the baby bump to show and sometimes she dreaded it. She had even chosen a dress that tightened just under her breasts before slowly flaring out so that even if the bump started to show, they would not have to make any alterations. Just as she was about to fall asleep, her phone started to ring. Lazily stretching her hand to pick it up, a smile graced her face as she saw the name on the phone. But before she could answer, the phone was cut off. Frowning, Xie Eun wondered why Yu Seok would cut off the call and waited for him to call again. It was what he usually did when she did not answer. Her frown turned darker when she no call came and so she decided to call him back.. The phone was unreachable.. Hmm.. Maybe that is why the call was cut off, he must have gone into a no network area. Shrugging her shoulders she placed the phone near her and continued to prattle to the little bean. Soon, an hour had passed and Xie Eun started to fall asleep on the couch.

As her head lolled for the nth time, she finally moved and rubbed her eyes. Another side effect of this pregnancy was that she started to feel too sleepy, all the time! Stretching slowly, she looked at the time and realized that it was too late. It seemed her hubby was really busy. An occurrence like this was too rare and thus Xie Eun walked towards the kitchen and opened the refrigerator that was filled with Yu Seok's cooking. Heating a plate of noodles and a side of fried meat she walked to the table and mindlessly chewed on the food. She looked at the torrent of rain and wondered when her hubby would be back home. Xie Eun hated nights like these where she felt alone. Unable to eat after a few bites, she threw the rest of the food into the trash and walked into their room. She needed a hot bath, she decided. Carrying the clothes, she filled up the bath tub and soon was immersed in the soothing water and closed her eyes with a sigh, letting herself soak comfortably..

Once again, she had almost fallen asleep when she heard the sound of the door closing. Just as her eyes snapped open, they were met with his glittering ones. His gaze gave her a thorough once over ,stopping to where her breast would be under the water, and he leaned closer to place a peck on her lips. "This is the best sight to come home too."

Forgetting that she was supposed to question him, Xie Eun gave him a sultry smile and invited," This can be better if you were to join in."

Giving her a smile of his own, Yu Seok accepted the invitation and threw his clothes away slowly, giving her a strip tease performance along the way. But just as he threw away the shirt, Xie Eun's gaze fell on a slight pink mark and her eyes narrowed. Ignoring the alarm bells ringing in her head, she welcomed Yu Seok with a deep passionate kiss. However, before they could go further, Xie Eun pulled back. The doctor had asked them to be careful so that they could only torture themselves. After playing around for a while, which resulted in a sore wrist for Xie Eun, the two people went to the bed. After laying her in bed, Yu Seok kissed Xie Eun lightly on the forehead before moving back, ready to step out of the room. Xie Eun frowned at this and looked questioningly. Sighing Yu Seok, explained," The new venture is full of minute but complicated details that I need to study. A single misstep or mistake could result in us being screwed over. There is no margin of error. I still have work to do.." Xie Eun nodded her head in understanding and gave her husband an encouraging smile. But the moment, Yu Seok had stepped out of the room, Xie Eun stealthily got out of the bed and walked into the washroom. "Witch!" Nora Xu actually had the gall of taunting her like this! Well she will show her!

Walking out, she picked up her phone and messaged Cheng Mo, "Send me tomorrow's schedule."

Tomorrow seemed to be a perfect day to surprise her hubby.. Just as she had expected, NX Banks had a meeting scheduled just before lunch. What a K-drama type of idea Miss Nora had! Let the meeting extend into the lunch break and then propose to have lunch together.. But as Xie Eun glanced at Yu Seok's schedule, she also felt worried for her husband. The way his days were packed, she had no idea how he had even managed to take so much time to think of her. Her poor hubby. She thought back to his tired face and then with a huff, marched out.

Looking down at her tummy, she frowned and talked to her kid, "Little bean. I know you are sleepy but your daddy needs some Tender loving care. We need to show your daddy how much we love him, don't we? "

Preparing a cup of green tea, Xie Eun walked on and knocked on the small study where her hubby was burning the midnight oil. When there was no reply from inside, she opened the door to see Yu Seok leaning back on his chair with his eyes closed. Shaking her head, she walked forward and glanced at his files and forgot to move away her gaze. This data was riveting and almost an overload of information. They would have to check each clause and then recheck it. Just as she was about to pull a chair and continue some of his work, a notification popped up on his screen. Her eyebrows raising, Xie Eun felt a smirk come on her face. This woman actually had the gall to video call her husband at the midnight hour. Hmm! Leaning forward she declined the call and moved back only to see her husband open his eyes. Smiling sunnily at him, Xie Eun caressed his face and tutted,"My poor hubby. Are you trying to kill yourself with work?"

Stretching a bit, Yu Seok pulled Xie Eun into his lap and rested his head on her chest." Just getting this out of the way so that we can have our wedding properly.."

Grinning at him she complained, "If you work like this, you will look ugly on the day of out marriage! And then I might just faint from fear!"

Reiprocating her teasing look, Yu Seok asked,"Mrs Yu, are you threatening me that you will not marry me if I I don't look my best?" Even though they were only playing with each other, Yu Seok's voice dropped an octave as he nuzzled his face into her bosom, sniffing deeply.

Giggling, Xie Eun got out of his lap and stood behind his chair, "Of course I am not. It would be a wonder if you were able to look ugly! And now, let me give you a head massage and you sip on the green tea, after which you can get back to work."

Enjoying the feeling of her fingers on his head, Yu Seok let her massage him. When he would have opened his eyes at the sound of another notification popping in, XIe Eun ordered him to keep his eyes closed and leaned forward. This time she did not decline the video call and instead let it connect. And just as her silly opponent came onto the screen, Xie Eun leaned forward and kissed her husband deeply, in full view of the camera..
