The big projector screen was displaying a live broadcast of the press conference where the current person was addressing the media before inviting them to answer the questions.Every person today who had come with doubts regarding Xie Eun felt themselves pale when they heard the answers given by the man on the stage. The first question he was asked was to confirm the rumors that had been circulating since last night about a certain someone.Though the reporters did not take any names, it was clear that they were questioning her claims.After all she was a nobody from nowhere. For this the man clearly answered that indeed Miss Xie was a person full of potential and had been personally handpicked by their CEO to be his student.He also clarified the other parts of the agreement without being asked, that they would be investing in Lu Enterprises for her to learn..When reporters questioned if this was CEO Wolf's way of getting a firm hold over the independent Lu Enterprises, the person scoffed at this and scathingly replied asking in return if their CEO needed to use such underhanded means ti acquire a company that was apparently on it's last leg. Throughout the conference, she and Wolf were shown to have a professional relationship even as the person somehow indirectly warned them to not pester her as she was just a student.Ultimately, the man finished the small conference, with a clear warning that anyone who opposed or harassed Miss Xie would be harassing the CEO..So it was clear that after today there should be no news about Miss Xie..
Xie Eun could only stare at a small wall on the side as the press conference continued.She already knew what was going to be said.Just as shebwas lost in her own thoughts,she felt someone tap against her hand.She turned her head to see that Neil Long was looking at her while the rest were staring at the conference.Feeling a bit perturbed that she wasn't aware that she was being observed, she looked at the man with a questioning gaze."Miss Xie?Why do you look upset?Your husband has opened the gates for Lu Enterprises for you so anyone who was gaining such wealth would be happy.You look like you have been sentenced to a long imprisonment.."

Xie Eun felt her heart ache as this observation.For the common man,it was a dream come true.But for her this inheritance was coming at the cost of her dreams.If not for the letter that her father had left her which she found last week, she would have happily given these people all the money in spite of their devious plans.She looked at the man and somehow felt like blurting out everything.Maybe that was a quality of a lawyer...since this person was a stranger maybe she could just say what was on her mind..."Is it not an imprisonment?All I wanted to do was click photographs and see the world through my lens.But now I am being chained to an office chair.".Neil Long smiled and could see a glimpse of his brother and sister in law in the girl.His brother too had been forced to gove up his dreams.. while her eyes were like Alicia's determined and yet innocent..so he offered,"Why not see it as a break?When you successfully take this over then your husband has already offered to put someone to manage it.If I know Wolf,then that man will not let you give up your dreams."
Neil Long's words brought about another wave of curiosity in Xie Eun unstable heart about her husband...What kind of a man was her husband that he commanded the respect of such known and esteemed figureheads...
