The moment she looked up, Xie Eun's first thought was,"Thank the Heavens" followed by a stunned silence.She thanked the heavens that she was not drinking water or she would have spat it out.Because standing in front of her was her husband, wearing the mask of another Super Villain,'Death Vader.'Good thing it had been dark when he entered otherwise after the nightmare, she would have thought that she was going crazy.Maybe this Wolf person had some affinity for villainous characters...If it had been earlier,she would have categorized him for being a villain but now she understood one thing-A hero's face could hide the biggest villain..Like Si Jing..

Seeing the stunned look on her face, Wolf wondered if he had maybe forgotten to wear his mask.He surreptitiously checked to see and the mask was in it's place..He still did not know that he was wearing a villain mask..Had he known that, Cheng Mo would have been fried(yes fried and not fired) the next morning..He had simply asked Cheng Mo to bring him a few masks that would cover his face.Seeing her stunned look, Wolf concluded that it was actually better than last time when she had screamed out..Maybe this character was her favorite so she was dazed..The reason why he had asked Cheng Mo to get him the masks was because that he had discovered that his wife liked action movies like his Assistant.After the assorted masks that Cheng Mo had brought, this seemed the simplest,so he thought that this one would be suitable. ​​

Finally,when Xie Eun could not stop staring,Wolf calmly walked forward and with a finger under her eyes, checked if they were dilated or not.Assuring himself that she was not suffering from any severe concussion, he extended his hand and lifted the loose top that he had put on her.

Reacting quickly,Xie Eun placed her hand on his to stop the upward movement of her shirt and asked shiveringly,"Wh..what are you doing?"

Glittering green,wild eyes met the timid brown eyes from behind the mask as the two once again engaged in a staring match.

Finally,Wolf sighed and muttered,"Eun-a?Your stomach is bruised severely and needs to be applied medicine,multiple times in a day.."

Xie Eun wanted to protest as she remembered the painful kick she had received and say that she could apply the medicine herself but having read her thoughts,Wolf pointedly looked at her hands which were placed over his.Both were covered in thick white bandages..She stared at the white bandaged hands placed on the tanned large hand..Such beautiful hands the man had..she got side tracked as she lookedbat them intently .Just then,she felt a brush of his finger against her bare stomach where the top had slipped up and she realized that..That she was pressing his hand onto her stomach!!

Quickly lifting her hands as if scalded, she looked away awkwardly and tried to think of something to say..

Meanwhile,Wolf looked at the little girl and slowly lifted the shirt.Taking a tube of ointment,he slowly spread the cold gel onto her tightly clenched stomach,where the boot prints were visible.He was able to do this calmly now but when he had first seen the prints,he had been so angry that the ittle mercy he had ordered his people to show was taken back..Those people were even now being tortured before they would be killed.

Xie Eun felt a current pass through her as the man slowly applied the cold medicine.This was the first time some man was touching her stomach..like this..So gently and caressingy.She could not help but clench her stomach wherever she felt his fingers.She could not help but stare at his dark hand against her pale skin. She finally breathed a sigh of relief when he lifted away his fingers and pulled the top back in it's place.

She wanted to thank him, for helping her, and for rescuing her but her words were stuck in her throat..Shebhad so many questions to ask,"How did he know the truth about Si Jing?Why did he not tell her?Why did he have to protect her from behind the scenes.Why did he accept her as his student?So many things to say and ask but not knowing where to begin,she simply followed him with her eyes as he placed the ointment back..It was only as he reached the door to leave, did Xie Eun realize that she had been keeping mum and he would be gone soon.So she called out to him,"Wolf...??"
