As Xie Eun slept,myriad flashes of the past invaded her dreams.They were actually reflections of the reality that she had been avoiding thinking of over these two years.Life had changed so drastically for her...But there was only one constant in her life..The man had stood by her through these trying times and now was ready to take their relationship to the next step..They were going to be married soon.She knew that he was going to propose to her next week on her birthday and she knew that she wanted to accept the proposal. Hence, this sudden visit.She needed to pay respects to her father but she also needed to find her so called husband. He never had appeared in front of her after that fateful night of her father's death.

Xie Eun felt guilty to him even as she loathed him. She had no way of finding this person so she had to go back and ask the only other person who knew that she was married-Aunt Su.. ​​

This was another person that she felt guilty towards.Aunt Su had followed her to the city to take care of her.A person who had lived all her life in the small village had left everything and everyone she had known and come there for her..but she had hurt her and forced Aunt Su to abandon her because of her own silliness..She needed to apologize to her also. Ever since the last year when she had sent Aunt Su back, she had not even called to ask after her...Xie Eun felt like an ingrate after this and was even scowling at herself in her sleep..

Yu Seok who had been observing the girl's expressions, shook his head at her and wondered what kind of silly dreams she was having to have such expressions.

The bus stopped outside a small food place and the driver announced,"You can buy food and use the restrooms here. The bus will be stopping for ten minutes before we continue the journey.And there will be no stops over the next four hours.."

Most of the people who had been cramped during these two hours got off the bus in a hurry..The jostling and the murmurs woke Xie Eun and she could only blink in confusion as everyone scrambled to get off the bus..

She turned her head and looked at her seat partner,"How long have I been sleeping?"

You Seok made a show of looking at the time before saying sarcastically,"You mean to ask for how long have you been abusing me by using me as a pillow?Two hours.."

Spying his angry expression, Xie Eun knew she needed to make her escape or Yu Seok would whine at her, she gave a big smile and said,"I want to eat food!Come on let's go!"

Xie Eun got into the line to first get off and then went into the small convenience store to buy as much food as she could. This was because she felt energized now.When she had taken the decision to come here, she had been under so much stress that she had been unable to sleep or eat..but with the sleep she had had on the bus, she felt fresh and energized.

After taking her time to collect various bags of chips, biscuits and beverages, Xie Eun came out of the convenience store with two big bags in-hand and a sandwich in the other hand.She looked around and could not see the bus standing where it was. In a far corner, she spied Yu Seok leaning against the wall with his arms crossed and their bags against his legs.

They had missed their bus!Ohhhh..

Deciding to play safe, Xie Eun acted dumb and said,"Where is the bus?"

Narrowing his eyes at her, Yu Seok answered sarcastically,"Xie Eun!The bus is right here. Don't you see it?Come let us go and sit inside."With that Yu Seok mimed the actions of climbing a bus and sitting on a seat much to the amusement of Xie Eun who broke into giggles, causing Yu Seok to shake his head in exasperation.

Finally, after catching her breath, Xie Eun took a bite of her sandwich and asked,"So?What do we do now?Wait for the next bus?But I think that comes tomorrow and this is the only bus on this route so we have to find a place to stay...hmm..ok,you wait here and I'll be back.!"Xie Eun handed the bags in her hand to him and turned back towards the store..

"Where are you going?", scowled Yu Seok who was at the end of his tether..where were they going to find a place to stay when there was nothing here?Xie Eun really knew how to take everything lightly!And did she

Looking over her shoulder, she shouted back," To get more food of course!What if the place we find does not have good food?"

With that, the foodie Xie Eun finished her sandwich and went inside to get more sustenance for herself and maybe Yu Seok also.

With a blank expression,Wolf picked up the additional bags next to his feet and clicked a button on the small keyring and the sound of a car door unlocking echoed in the otherwise silent parking lot and placed their luggage in the trunk casually while the bags of chips in his hand went into the backseat.

The owner of the car on the other hand sat in the bus with his bag clutched in his lap,cursing his boss in his heart.The bus driver had even offered to wait for Miss Xie to return but suddenly he was innocently following orders and tailing them had been put on the bus and his car taken over by the boss..As if he did not know that he was being subjected to this treatment because his boss wanted to woo Miss Xie and spend some alone time with her.
