My Fierce Tigress Wife Chapter 190

"Then, wouldn't it be better to appoint Lee Jaemyung? He would make a better competitor against Park Gookchang with his age and ability."
Wang Hu smiled and shook his head. He said, "I appointed someone less capable than Park Gookchang on purpose.
"If the leader's ability is on par with Park Gookchang, it would make it hard for Park Gookchang to contend with the leader whom we officially appointed.
"It would form a better balance if our appointed leader, a young lady from the Lee Corporation, was weaker in capabilities.
"In other words, she is our puppet, one that is the most appropriate and the easiest to control."
Di Baijun kept quiet for a while, and then she suddenly said, "It's not because you prefer young ladies?"
Wang Hu looked at Silly Girl, feeling at a loss for words. He rolled his eyes—that's right, he could even roll his eyes at Silly Girl now.
"What makes you think that way? Don't you know my personality?"
Feeling somewhat embarrassed, Di Baijun's eyes wandered and looked away from Wang Hu.
Wang Hu did not mind; he knew Silly Girl was just making a careless remark.
Both of them knew it was not possible for him to be attracted to a normal female human.
They switched the subject, and Wang Hu's tone seemed to suggest something when he spoke. "Next, there will be a meeting with the leaders of these alliances."
In slightly more than 10 minutes, the 12 alliances conference was held again.
The figures of 12 different leaders appeared on the screen.
The 11 of them looked fixedly at Park Gookchang in shock.
"Mr. Park, the conference has started. Where is the Tiger King?" The Japanese leader was first to speak.
The others expressed the same question with their facial expressions.
The only reason why they were willing to attend the conference held by Park Gookchang at this point was because of the Tiger King.
It was surprising that Park Gookchang was able to represent the Tiger King. They could not refuse, and it made them even more bewildered.
Park Gookchang's face looked a lot better than the few previous conferences. Now, calmness and confidence were visible on his face.
He looked at the Japanese leader and said calmly, "Everyone, I will be announcing a few things now."
His gaze swept over them, and he suddenly had an urge to laugh; he was feeling the confidence that he had never felt before.
"First, South Korea Alliance will be withdrawing from the human alliance and will be a separate entity from it."
He did not care what changes there were on everyone's faces and continued to say, "Second, South Korea will be renamed as Ji.
"Third, I will be the assistant leader of Ji, and the leader will be Miss Lee Bokbyul.
"Fourth—and the most important point…"
He paused for a second, feeling gratification from getting revenge, and continued to say with the utmost solemnity, "From a short while ago, Ji and the Ji alliance have all submitted to the Tiger King and are now a part of the Tiger King's Cave.

"From that point on, Ji will only abide by the orders of the Tiger King."
After he finished, he looked calmly at everyone.
Everyone's expressions completely changed, and they stared wide-eyed at Park Gookchang.
They looked at him like they were looking at a maniac.
"Are you crazy? No—it's South Korea that's crazy," the Indian leader bellowed furiously.
"As a human, you are submitting yourselves to an anima—another species… do you know what you are saying?" The Japanese leader immediately added.
Rage welled within the other leaders, and they directed it at Park Gookchang.
It was not surprising that they reacted the way they did because they were all humans.
As fellow humans, they were absolutely not willing to see South Korea be annexed to the Tiger King's Cave… submitting to a tiger.
Park Gookchang was expressionless. However, the sense of getting revenge became stronger.
From feeling desperate and completely hopeless… then to being hopeful and clutching at straws.
At this moment, he suddenly let go of everything.
He looked calmly at the other leaders and said frostily, "Please be careful of what you say. I'm part of the Tiger King's Cave now and no longer part of the human alliances.
"Mr. Te Bajing, Mr. Shina, are you provoking our Tiger King's Cave?"
After he finished, everyone's gazes turned even frostier as though they were looking at a dead person.
Park Gookchang did not care. After all, he's supposed to be dead already.
Furthermore, he felt happy to see Te Bajing and Shina Zobe appear as if they just ate crap, were unable to voice their displeasure, and could only hold it in.
He looked at them with amusement in his eyes.
Everyone could tell that this person had gone crazy.
They pushed him to the point of turning crazy.
However, they refuse to reflect on it and just thought about the effects of this matter.
The more they thought about it, the more they felt helpless to stop it. At the same time, the effects would be serious.
They wanted to lash out, but as they were reminded of the Tiger King, they had to bite their tongues.
Even Te Bajing, who was livid, could only stare furiously at Park Gookchang.
"Leader Park, what did the Tiger King say?" Suddenly, Dong Pingtao, who looked equally stern, said.
"Let me invite the Tiger King into the meeting now," Park Gookchang said seriously.
Everyone pulled themselves together. As they waited, they thought about the countermeasures.
After a few seconds, the figures on screen became 13.
The face of the additional figure could not be seen clearly as it was glowing faintly in golden light. All they could feel from the figure was dominance and authority.
Most people in the conference had not seen the Tiger King before.
However, at this point, they naturally became certain that the figure was the Tiger King.
"Your Excellency, welcome."
Dong Pingtao was the first to greet.
Everyone else followed suit in welcoming him.
Wang Hu did not retract the golden glow from his face. He spoke with a cold voice, "I'm here only to say two things.

"First, everything of Ji belongs to me.
"The invasion on Ji by the marine species troops will be handled by me alone.
"The conditions that we discussed previously will not be needed now.
"Second, which is a very simple matter. Does anyone have an opinion about Ji joining my Tiger King's Cave?
"If you do, voice it now. After the meeting, I do not wish to hear any more nonsense."
The straightforward words made the meeting fall into silence.
Needless to say, everyone felt unhappy. They could lash out freely if they were faced with Park Gookchang.
However, when faced with the Tiger King, they were in no position to say anything.
Everyone also understood that it was a compromise on the Tiger King's part when he said that he was willing to handle the invasion of the Dragon Clan World by himself without the need for other countries to help.
As for the second matter, he put the most awkward thing on the table blatantly.
The others wanted to say something but did not dare to.
Eventually, everyone turned to look at Dong Pingtao.
Beneath Dong Pingtao's composed and calm exterior was his wry and resigned smile.
He truly did not expect this to happen.
He did not expect that South Korea would choose to submit to the Tiger King, and the Tiger King even agreed.
He did not want to be a part of this troublesome matter.
However, he was a human, and China was the most powerful country which was also on the friendliest terms with the Tiger King.
There was no running away.
He briefly thought and said, "Your Excellency, logically speaking, it was South Korea's own choice to join the Tiger King's Cave, so we are not in a position to meddle with it.
"However, South Koreans are humans after all, so I apologize that we would have to ask some questions."
"Sure, I'm here to settle this matter after all," Wang Hu said coolly.
The meeting finally ended after half an hour.
The leaders of various countries began to issue orders.
Wang Hu spoke to Park Gookchang, Lee Bokbyul, Lee Jaemyung, and other senior officials of Ji on the phone.
"Your Majesty, you promised that you will allow the citizens of Ji to leave as they wish. I'm afraid that there will be many people who will do so.
"Should we think of something to encourage them to stay in Ji?" Lee Bokbyul spoke reverently after feeling more composed.
"No need. Apart from the scientists, if others want to leave, let them leave. Those who do not wish to stay can all leave," Wang Hu said nonchalantly.
This was one of the conditions that he agreed with the other human leaders. If the people of Ji wished to leave, he must not stop them.
Lee Bokbyul and Park Gookchang were at a loss for words, but they did not dare to refute.
"Alright, I will be handing over Ji to everyone. I hope you will not disappoint me," Wang Hu said coolly and ended the call afterward.
Lee Bokbyul and the others looked at one another silently for a while. Park Gookchang was first to break the silence and said, "Since His Majesty has entrusted Ji to us, then we should do our best.
"Leader, let's start now."
Lee Bokbyul nodded.
Soon after, the senior officials started to move. First, they announced to the public that they don't have to run frantically anymore because the Tiger King will be coming to save them.
A massive propaganda campaign started.
In the Tiger King's Cave…
Feeling puzzled, Di Baijun asked, "You don't want too many people?"
"Yes, we don't need so many people in Ji. Now, what we need are Ji's research and development abilities and their intelligence capabilities.
"These are the things that Tiger King's Cave lacked the most. We can't deny that it's very advantageous to have the high technology and intelligence capabilities that humans have," Wang Hu said with a smile, feeling in a good mood.
These two aspects were indeed the things that he lacked the most now.
There were some things about humans that the other species truly could not beat.
If he did not want to continue to be ignorant, subduing a decently powerful human country was their best bet.
Ji was just right for him.
As for the human population, there was no need for him to keep so many people.
He did not plan to develop Ji into a superpower. He only planned for it to not be wiped out, maintain an edge in certain aspects, and be of use to him.
For example, he could make use of their intelligence capabilities.
Besides…
He smiled again and said to Silly Girl, "The population of Ji has a weakness, which is their incredible confidence.
"However, this confidence has no basis and could be very easily shattered.
"Hence, it causes them to idolize and fear the powerful very much.
"Even if they submitted to the Tiger King's Cave, there will still be many Ji people who are willing and happy.
"Furthermore, how many people were willing to leave their homes, give up everything, and go to a completely unfamiliar country?
"So those who willingly leave won't be that many either."
After seeing that Di Baijun was not very interested, he said, "There's no need for us to be concerned. In the future, we just have to leave it to Lee Bokbyul, Park Gookchang, and the rest.
"They have already burned bridges with the humans and can only depend on us. They won't dare to betray us either.
"We just have to treat it as accommodating another species in Tiger King's Cave. There's no need to pay extra attention to them.
"They are just our intelligence agency and a place where the research and development will be carried out. We can also let them handle some inconvenient things."
Di Baijun nodded. She changed the subject and felt her battle spirit raging. "This time, I want to fight with you."
