"Hmm, is there a problem if the business would be under the Chronos squad? Are you against it?" Sofia solemnly asked while carefully examining the expressions of the two men. She was trying to observe and notice a bit of skepticism from them.

"No, no," one of the men waved his hand and shook his head simultaneously. "No problem at all!"

Then, the two men became silent as recognitions started to flood their minds. Their mouth opened as they stared blankly at Sofia.

"Little girl, you look familiar. Have we met before?" the men expressed at the same time. Finally they had noticed Sofia's figure similar on the social media.

"We haven't formally met. And yes, if you saw about the news of the Chronos squad, I am the squad leader," Sofia introduced right away.

"You really are the squad leader? Don't you have a class?" a man inquired.

"I have my lessons later," Sofia simply shrugged.

"Sorry for not recognizing you right away! " the two spoke again at the same time. His views about the woman sitting in front of him greatly transformed in a serious

"Hehe, the youth had really expanded their ability! Even at this young age, your squad already wanted to start a business!"

"Hmm, there is no age boundary in business. Some can start early. Other starts at their retirement. Anyone can start their business, anytime," Sofia told the two,

"Yes, of course! What you said is true. Those who will start early would become wise for they will learn how to manage and start from a scratch... mostly trial and error." Franco agreed and expressed his opinion.

"Then, we will introduce ourselves formally, our future boss!" the two men made the gesture of salute before they proceed to introduce themselves.

Future boss! These two men were very assumptive and Sofia gazed at them with an approval look.

Being assumptive has a bad and good side. This character could be seen as arrogant and overconfident in the eyes of others. But, in sales, this character is the backbone to upsell products.

"Future boss, I am Franco. This is my best buddy, Riel. We were classmates during our school days," the man called Franco started.

"What work are you looking? Do tell me about your expertise so I can think of which area should I place the two of you," Sofia asked them.

"Future boss, we graduated in college and got the degree of IT. We do coding," Riel quickly answered

"Then, you are experts in technology?" Sofia inquired.

The two men shyly looked away.

"Not too much to be called an expert but we know how to code," the two politely answered without meeting Sofia's gaze. Somehow, they felt uncomfortable of her calling them experts.

Sofia nodded at them in understanding. She knew that her description about them was indeed exaggerated for there were crazy expert in the field of IT. She then leaned forward and unclasped her hands.

"If I request the two of you to make an app for the business, do you know how to develop a code and make an app?" Sofia curiously asked.

"Yes, we can create a code for you!" Franco confirmed almost instantly.

A small curve appeared on Sofia's lips. It had not crossed in her mind yet, but after meeting the two, she realized that they must also cover the customers in the internet.

"Okay! The two of you, Franco and Riel, will be in the technology department. I will send you the idea of what app you should create. You can leave your contact in formation to me so I can communicate with you easily. As for the salary and formality, I'll send the details once its finalized," Sofia finalized.

"That's it? You won't ask other credentials that we have?" Franco questioned.

"I am not requiring credentials. I am requiring credibility in their work. If I see the two of you slacking on the responsibilities, I won't hesitate to replace you," Sofia declared.

"Are you going to let us sign an NDA?" Riel inquired.

"Naturally, that will be included in the contract that I will sent soon," Sofia answered. The NDA was an acronym which means a Non-Disclosure Agreement. It was essential for the technology development team to have this kind of agreement so that they won't sell to the competitors the projects of thei company.

Once an NDA would be signed by a party, everything that was stipulated in the agreement must remain confidential even if they would leave the company soon.

"Okay, we will sign an NDA. But, this means you will be giving us the full idea of the app that we will be coding?" Franco mentioned.

"No problem," Sofia casually replied. Even if these two men would not contribute their idea to create an app, it was fine. She believed that as long as they would follow her idea, the app would be great.

The men did not dare question what kind of idea would Sofia gave them as basis of the app. They swiftly gave Sofia their contact details and waited for her to gave further instructions.

"I'll contact the two of you once my squad starts our business. If not this week, maybe, it would be next week. We need to sort out some papers first," Sofia told them before she left.

She made sure to give them the target timeline for them to open as she knew that they had to get necessary permits from the government departments first before they could officially start.

"We will wait for your ideas about the app," the two men beamed in joy.

When Sofia said that she would just called them, they felt that it was a form of rejection. They had several experiences of going to a job interview only to be told that the company will just contact them.

But after Sofia told them about the timeline of their opening, the men felt an assurance that she was really accepting them.

"Riel, the youth in this generation is too admirable! I could tell that the young lady was a goal-oriented and there is a determination on her eyes," Franco stated.

"Did we have a job interview? Hahaha, I do felt the pressure of talking with a job interviewer once," Riel commented.

Sofia left the two afterwards for it was almost time for her to meet her 2 PM appointment.

It was then when Sofia turned her back and walked away did they felt the heavy burden in their chest disappear.

"Do you think she can think of an idea about the app?" Franco asked his companion in a low tone.

"It's better to wait and see. Before, it is too easy to predict the young girls her age. But, she is the leader of the squad and managed to get the champion title. Maybe she did have an idea?" Riel answered broadly. It was her way of hinting that they cannot judge the young lady easily. It would be embarrassing if they do.

"Since we already have a future job, it is time to go back to our flat. I'll review some commands to create an app," Franco urged his friend.

"Yes, I suddenly felt like I was being subjected to a half year of interrogation. That girl, even if she is still young, she had an intimidating aura," Riel expressed.

She just had a conversation with the two men for less than 15 minutes, but these men felt like they had been subjected to a half to whole day cross-examination.

"I agree," Franco nodded. The two figures soon walked side by side to get a cab.

~Double Sigma Territory

Sofia was five minutes late in her appointment. The fraternity leaders made an arrangement earlier to meet at a modest western noddle restaurant within the territory of the fraternity.

Sofia was not aware of territorial concerns among gangs and fraternity, but when she arrived and the place was completely empty, she frowned in confusion.

'Why is the place empty even if I am late now? ' she questioned and pulled out her phone from the pocket. She was about to type a message when suddenly, she felt a danger.

She instinctively raised her elbow, a move that usually executed in the online game...

The sound of her elbow and an old fashion magazine connecting into one another echoed the place. Sofia slightly winced in pain.

"Oh my, I did not mean to hurt you. I was just trying to take you by surprise!" a man with deep and rusty voice followed. As Sofia looked up, the face of Derek greeted her. She was the eldest brother of Danny.

"I could charge you of an assault," Sofia coldly snapped.

"I did not know that you will raise your elbow to block my attack. It was just a joke, please don't take it seriously!" Derek explained.

"Sofia, please forgive this brazen brother of mine. He just wants to see people get startled," Danny also emerged from the other side and plead to her.
